THE WARLORD

Sebastian Cole has a dark side. Filled with remorse. Centuries ago he lost his family. His love. His wife. Afterlife is a burden. Each awakening brings yet another reminder of his failure. Of empty hours ahead. Lonely spans of time. It’s his penance. And it’s eternal. Until one night. When he least expects it…

ARTISTIC GENIUS

Jill Jones is in heaven. A seven day trip to Paris! Visiting the Louvre! So what if she doesn’t fit in with the others? She never did. Nobody understands her. She should be used to it. She should quit trying, rather than join in an illicit nighttime exploration of the Paris catacombs.

REDEMPTION

Beneath Paris is a network of tunnels. Catacombs. Containing macabre displays of the dead. Vast sections of graffiti. Cataphiles combing through undiscovered sections. And a menacing, thrilling, gorgeous man. One who doesn’t just want her body…

He’s demanding her soul.

Jackie Ivie was born and raised in a suburb outside Utah's capital, beautiful Salt Lake City. The second in a family of four daughters and one son, Jackie was constantly amusing her siblings with her invented games, escapades, and stories. And she was always reading. She would even walk the family dog, with one hand holding the leash, while the other held the ever-present book. No subject went unread, but once she discovered Historical Romances, there was no doubting her favorite genre.

Jackie has always been the busy type, rarely sitting still without being occupied in at least one activity, and usually more. When she was younger, it was nothing to find her watching television, while doing her homework, listening to music, crocheting like a madwoman, and reading, all at the same time.

After graduating, Jackie gained secure employment with a large service company and relocated with her growing family to the neighboring, sparsely-populated state of Wyoming. She then spent several years enjoying the wildlife, scenery, and open space that Wyoming is known for. In addition to writing, Jackie is an accomplished artist in several mediums, preferring mixed media. She has several pictures in print and has exhibited in art showings throughout the West. There was never anything she loved doing more than reading, however, and once she discovered the thrill involved with putting her own words and fantasies on paper there was no stopping her.

In 2001, Jackie and her family took a huge step and moved to the largest state of the nation; Alaska. Although it was her job that brought her here, Jackie has grown to love this land of amazing contrasts, breathtaking vistas, and the ever-present resident, the Alaskan moose. There's nothing else like it, and the very long days of summer lend themselves to hours and hours of energizing tasks, while the long winter nights are just right for her real love...writing.

Jackie has now written thirteen novels and is continually starting more. The thrill of writing has now been enhanced by seeing her actual story in print. Lady of the Knight is her first published work. It will be followed by Tender is the Knight scheduled for release this summer.

"A Forever Mate" by Jackie Ivie. Book 18 in the Vampire Assassin League series.

Such a fun novella. Very well written. Very good action at the end. Great teaser to another character's future too! I liked it.

A case of mistaken identity puts Jill in a situation she's never been in before. She's in the hands of a gorgeous guy in a hotel room that is not her's! OH! If only she could see him! Darn contact lenses!

Sebastian never thought he would meet his bond-mate in the catacombs of Paris. He's already had the love of his life when he was human. Is it really possible to love again?

With this book, the author won me back. The previous book was very disappointing, while this one managed to entertain me and connect me with Jill and Sebastian. They are two characters made for each other.

Sebastian Cole is a hunk of a medieval warrior. Jill Jones is a nearsighted, mousy, art student. Jill goes with the rest of her group into the catacombs in Paris at night, not legally.......The police raid, Jill loses her flashlight, and her contact lens, and backs into the wall known as Sebastian. Jill is very introverted, and has a tendency to talk to herself, something Sebastian is having a hard time understanding. Oh, yea, Sebastian and Jill are fated mates. This series has become a fun, fantasy romp through the Vampire Assassin League. The especially fun parts are when Akron, the Head VAL person calls, and Nigel, his assistant, gets in his little quips. The humor is fun, the characters are adorable, and there is a little twist at the end that you won't see coming. The books are only $.99 for the first while that they are out, and are well worth it.

Sebastian Cole gave up his human life for his wife who was dying of the plague but it was too late. He lives with that failure day in and day out until one day everything changed…..

Jill Jones has a problems fitting in. She is an art student on a seven day trip to Paris what could go wrong? She visits the catacombs under Paris and is left behind and she is on her own.

This is the 18th book in the Vampire Assassin League by Jackie Ivie. As with all of her books it can stand alone, be read in any order and you will still love them. Like the others you meet a vampire who meets his mate and has to win them over. This book is humors in what the characters have to go through. Jill fights with denial and some other issues. Life and death situations like with all of Ivie’s VAL series but what a great book.

Sebastian existed for one purpose, to serve the Vampire Assassins League. He hated what he had become because it just served as a reminder of what he had lost so long ago. His beloved wife, and his failure to save her. Sent on a mission to Paris he discovers the one thing that could send his world spinning, cause his heart to beat again. His mate.
Jill didn't really fit in with the rest of the group she was with, but that didn't matter because she was about to be swept off her feet by an incredibly hot, sword wielding guy that just so happens to be her mate. Oh and he's a Vampire too, and in his world, once you find your mate it's for eternity.

Another wonderful story in the Vampire Assassin League series! Jill doesn't fit and keeps to herself. Her talking to herself makes for some very funny moments and certainly helps the hero, Sebastian understand her. Our hero is strong, caring, protective, and oh so sexy. The story moves along very quickly with humor, action, steamy romance and vampires! If you don't have a lot of time and still want a complete story, give this story a try! They are stand-alone, but much more enjoyable when read in order.

Awful

Too weird to even continue reading. The plot races along and you the reader have no idea what is going on.The characters are not relatable or even likeable.

It was an okay book ,very common story. I really would have liked the protagonists with more depth.
