Eigentlich bin cih kein großer Fan mehr von Schul-BL, weil es immer wieder das gleiche ist :D und hier ist es nicht soviel anders. Beide sind sich ihrer Gefühle nicht ganz klar, haben Missverständnisse etc. Aber dafür sind die Chibis und die kleinen Comiceinlagen so dumm und witzig gezeichnet, dass es doch spaß gemacht hat, den zu lesen.

Another friends to lovers story, set in college. I liked it well enough, but one of the guys was too much of a cry-baby for me to enjoy it. I also never know what to think about the implications of a guy dating one woman after another, but then staying with his best friend.. I did like the way it dealt with the fall-out of a one-sided confession, though - and the overall mood of Ichikawa Kei's stories is always very nice.

This was pretty adorable. Shousuke always comforts Tomoki after he gets dumped until one day when they’re drinking together after another breakup, Shousuke kisses Tomoki. He tries to write it off the next day as a drunken not serious thing, but Tomoki won’t have it and forces a confession out of Shousuke. Tomoki tells him he loves him too and assumes they’re dating, but Shousuke is hesitant because he think Tomoki only loves Shousuke because Shousuke loves him.

It’s a lot of back and forth, but it’s pretty cute and light hearted. Tomoki is an airheaded, crybaby and Shousuke’s one of those serious apathetic characters, which is always fun. You can kind of tell it was meant to be a oneshot, but I think it did pretty good as a full volume. I liked it.

Was cute but feald little empty and to short. The relationship could get more exploration. It would have been nice to see Sho's first confession in a less vague version ( more context) and how their relationship progressed after they got toghether. The storyline of Sho's parents was thrown in like that and left, it could have been either left compleatly out or given something more. This story coud benefit more if it hat 2 or 3 volumes.

Hier gibt es nicht viel Story. Wir folgen der Entwicklung einer Beziehung mit nicht nur perfekten Momenten. Ist eigentlich ganz nett und ich mag Charakter fokussierte Geschichten. Die Zeichnungen sind auch hübsch. Aber irgendwie habe ich mich dann doch etwas gelangweilt.

Der One Shot ‚Colorful Line‘ liefert eine sanft erzählte Geschichte, die Lesende mitten ins Geschehen wirft.

Lesende bekommen vorwiegend Shos Gedankenwelt präsentiert. Doch Tomokis offene, wenn auch übersteigert gezeichneten Emotionen helfen, ihn genauso gut zu verstehen. Die Handlung schreitet vorwiegend in Dialogen voran. Das fand ich sehr realitätsnah. Input von Nichtbeteiligten und Kommunikation untereinander ist manchmal wichtig, um den für sich richtigen Weg zu finden.

Der Zeichenstil ist sehr einfach, manchmal ein bisschen off. Die Emotionen deutlich gezeichnet und spürbar. Hintergründe gibt es wenige. Doch das empfand ich überhaupt nicht als störend, da so der Fokus nur noch mehr auf die Protagonisten und deren miteinander gelegt wurde.

Was ich besonders mochte, ist die fehlende obligatorische Sex Szene am Ende, denn sie wäre hier, wie bei so manch anderen Reihen, einfach absolut nicht nötig, um die Story rund zu machen. Wer also etwas ohne freizügige Momente lesen möchte, ist bei diesem One Shot genau richtig.

Was mich allerdings etwas störte, ist der teilweise kleine Text… obwohl noch Platz in den Sprechblasen war.
