This book is the memoir of the famous actor Innocent, who recently passed away. He was considered just another junior artist in the initial part of his career.

People initially didn't recognize his potential. But soon, he started excelling in all the roles he began to get, first as a comedian, then as a producer, then as the head of the actors association in Kerala, and finally as a Member of Parliament and a writer.

The irony of each situation is that people were initially skeptical when he was given a new opportunity. But he later proved them all wrong by exceeding everybody's expectations. The way he fighted against Cancer is also admirable. His ability to see life's crisis and terminal illness in a humorous manner is well conveyed in his books. This is one of the main reasons why many Doctors advise their patients to read his books to help them face Cancer boldly and are translated into various other languages like English, Italian, Hindi, etc. We can see multiple such instances in this book.

Cancer Wardile chiri is my favorite book written by him. This book will also be an excellent choice for everyone who wants to know more about him.

"Daivathe Salyappedutharuth" is a Memoir, where the author narrates mainly his childhood days. Memoir puts light on how the author became an actor. His intensity of wish to be an actor and the struggles taken later on. A child/teenager who's very naughty, disobedient is also shown to the readers. Besides, the reader can get a picture, how the old Kerala society, and life and social developments were. A good hand picked one. Humour rich. Gives chances to laugh. While few memoirs were thought provoking too. Loved it!
