Got the bundle as gift, spend all my time to review E n C journey. Once again, i m not in love with E, maybe hers was sad but she wasn’t that mature when she dealing the issues with C. So did C.
There r so many side character I m in love, Peyton, Mason, Denny. They r wonderful friends of E n C.
I am so familiar their stories even Julia b Collin. The most caught my eyes were the friendship of E n Peyton, how C spoils Julia, father’s girl n mama’s boy.
I just finished the Forever Trilogy and I really liked it. This is the three series set which includes Forever Black, Forever You and Forever Us. You have to read in order or it will not makes sense but what a ride it was. This story is about Ellery and Connor. Ellery has had a lot that has went on in her life. You really can't blame the girl. When she was little her mother died of cancer and her dad had a rough time of it. At 16 she found out that she had cancer too. Not wanting her dad to go through that again tried to commit suicide but her dad found her before she died. She ends up through remission but her dad is now an alcoholic and ends up dying from it. How can you blame the girl. Connor is not up for commitment. He has rules that he follows for a reason. At a young age his girlfriend committed suicide after he broke it off with her so no wonder he has a lot of guilt and doesn't want the attachment and what would come with it. Ellery and Connor meet in the most unusual way. They both have secrets and at times are not ready for what would lie ahead. What will happen when those secrets come out? Will they be able to withstand the hardship that is bound to be involved? You will have to read and see......
I really liked this story. I thought that it flowed really well and was so glad that we had both point of views to read plus a happy ending. I didn't think that we would get three but with many obstacles it was definitely met. However, there were times that I just wanted to slap the both of them. They both made some decisions that were totally uncalled for but this is a story so there will be that in all stories. They could be very cheesy too but that was to be expected. Did it take away from the story? At times but I was ok with it. It was still a joy to read. Always love a happy ending.
Connor Connor Connor. What can I say about him? He is sexy, rich, and could be controlling. I'm all for that. He did have a tendency to get on my nerves with his controlling ways but I still loved him. Ellery I loved her too. She was childish in her ways. Always running but it made for good reading. I did feel sorry for her because of all that she had gone through. I just wanted it to work out for her. The chemistry between them was hot even when they were fighting. I thought he sex scenes got better each story so that made is sexier. The definitely deserved each other. Glad that they got their happy ending.
I love ye secondary characters. Peyton and Denny my absolute favorite. They were really there for both Ellery and Connor. They gave them good common sense when they were acting like kids. I don't know what they would have done without them!!
Overall I enjoyed it even though there were some childish and cheesy things. It was cute!
I really enjoyed all three books I found ellery to be a great female character and loved Connor . I love a good sex scene as much as the next but was very glad that it was kept to a minimum and more of the story line. If I had to be picky I felt like throwing in Denny and a brain tumor was too much and just a filler with no follow up and if I read "a single tear fell down her face" again I was going to loose it . Good read
I'm surprised I never reviewed this book. I read it when it first came out. It's one of my favorite series. Love, hate, heartache, and just emotions everywhere.Such a loving, caring emotional story. You will laugh and cry.I've re-read this a few times, and usually I have tears in my eyes. Great emotion. .Now I'm going to re-read Being Julia Love reading all your work Sandi Lynn😊
This book was a great balance of love, despair, hate and deceit. It was well written with an excellent portrayal of two very stubborn people. Add to that a mixture of jealousy, dumped lovers and a stalker and you have the base for a very exciting book. It did not disappoint. Well recommended to all who enjoy a love story with twists and turns. Little bit too much repetitive sex for me. Almost seemed like some scenes had been cut and pasted.
Thanks for the very good read. I can sympathize with both Ellery and Danny as at the moment I'm in hospital with pancreatic cancer. I go for my operation on Thursday.
Very good read had me in tears as it brought home my predicament. I will look out for other books that you have written. Thanks again for the very good read.
Really enjoyed this read! Sandi Lynn is a very good writer, and I enjoy all of her books that I have read! Will be looking forward to more of her reads!👍👌👍
I absolutely love this trilogy I have read it about six or more times know I would tell anybody to give it a read and it deserves a five star because I love it
Overall this was a great read. The characters were well written and the storyline was a little far fetched at times, but still believable. Book 1 introduced u to the characters and their flaws. Book 2 gave u more depth about their relationship and struggles with one another and Book 3 brought everything together. At times, it was hard to keep up with what was going on due to the rapid changes, but things eventually flowed together well.
Love, Love, Love!! This box set is heaven sent! This is one of those series that you just need the next book right away!! Ellery is officially one of my favorite book girls! Mr. Black oh my!! Every woman's wet dream. But I love Ellery's refusal to conform! You're a hot, rich, wet dream Mr. Black but you have been hit by a stubborn woman! The characters are very well developed and realistic. Opposites to the max Ellery has rich spoiled and arrogant Conner putting his silver knife and fork down and walking down the street on foot like a common. This book will grab your heart and yearn for the happily ever after.
He laid himself down beside me and looked up at the sky. I looked over at him as he struggled to keep his eyes open as the rain pelted him in the face; a small smile crossed my lips. "Why are you doing this?" He asked as he turned and looked at me. "Because I can lay here and no one will know I'm crying." I need her like I need air to breathe. I need her like I need a heartbeat to keep me alive.
All three books flow flawlessly and kept me wanting more, more, more!! Love this series and am definitely going to buy the spinoffs that fallow.
Very good series about wealthy Connor Black and the feisty artist, Ellery who tames him. The first book sets up their relationship very nicely. Each has serious secrets, life changing secrets that can destroy their relationship. There is no angst for the sake of angst-there is drama where its needed and not all of it is resolved in the first book.
The second book is essentially a retelling of the first book but from Connor's POV. I will admit, some of it is redundant. But the timeframe delves into their future more so than the ending of the first book.
The third book ties up the mystery and intrigue (and the nasty witch) who has been plaguing Connor since the first chapter of the first book. In the last book of the trilogy, they are much more grounded and secure in their relationship. Although they are now parents, no worries-there's still lots of sex and steam.
The secondary characters in this series-Peyton and Ben and most especially Denny are wonderful and provide so much to the canvass of this story. I was as interested in their lives as I was in Connor's and Ellery's. This is a series well worth the time and investment!
I loved this entire series, it was so smart and witty. I believed the story and that's important to me that it not be some fluffy unbelievable story and it definitely wasn't it was realistic and very smartly written. Their were so many twists and turns in this series it kept me constantly on my toes an I couldn't put it down I finished this series in a day and a half. There were times when I would get frustrated with Connor but he always came thru, I think I'm in love with him lol. Ellory was one of the funniest, strongest and most wonderfully written characters I've read in a long time. I usually don't read books that are the same book but from the males prospective but I did this time and I'm so glad I did because conners story really needed to be told so you could understand why he acted the way he did, I loved it. The last book was a true treasure it wrapped everything up so beautifully and still managed to surprise me constantly with little twists and turns. Overall I think everyone should read this series because it's well worth your time and money.
I have just finished the third book in this series and I have to say, I couldn't put any of them down! Great read! Just sad it had to come to an end and I am now having withdrawal symptoms as I'm missing Connor and Ellery already (how sad have I become). The end of the third book, Forever Us, is so good and this isn't giving anything away or spoiling it, having not being able to place the Michael Buble song, Close Your Eyes, I decided to look it up and listen..,.well I was bawling my eyes out! The song I thought was very fitting and just summed up Connor's feelings for Ellery! The book has ups an downs and a few teary moments but don't be put off, they are worth a read! I am going to try Being Julia and Collin when it comes out having heard good things about them both but as they are not revolving around Connor and Ellery I'm not sure how I'll get on but I will give them a try. If anyone has read being Julia let me know how you found it after reading these three :) I'm sure I'm not the only one who is looking for her Connor....
Loved it from beginning to end. Amazing way how elderly and Connor met. Loved the story. There love is so strong even thru bad times. Ellery had cancer at the age of 16. Her mom died with cancer when Ellery was 6. Her father couldn't cope his wife's death and became and alcoholic. Connor does not do relationships due to his pass. It sounds like the normal workaholic billionaire meets innocent young girl. But the story had a whole lot more dealing with an illness.
Book 2 was a repeat but with a few changes of Connor thoughts. I felt like I was reading the same story but need to read on. The story does continues and it just as good.
Book 3 shows Connor and Ellery goes stronger. Can they trust one another. Connors ex girlfriend causes more problems. My favorite part was when Ellery prepared her best friend Peyton's bachelorette party and Ellery meets the stranger. Loved all three books. Great characters. Highly recommend.
I loved this series. Only thing that annoyed me was grammar issues! The story line was beautifully written and executed. The characters were all over lovable and easy to relate with. I will say I made a lot of assumptions and guesses about these novels as to where the plot was headed and was surprised when I was wrong almost every time which was very refreshing. Connor was a good strong character and Ellery was a wonderful heroine to match the alpha male in this series. I love how witty and fun she was I spent a lot of time laughing with their bickering. The story flowed and I never once got bored I found the read so enjoyable I read the whole series in 2 days. A really good story for anyone looking to experience it all, love, romance, heartbreaking times, and new beginnings.
This was a good series, it did not seem like it took me too long to read all three books. I Liked how you were able to have both point of views. So many times you are left to wonder if the other person feels as passionately as the other. I wish though it would have happened in the same book rather than having to wait until the second book to see how Connor felt. I liked in the last book that it was alternated between both views. The first book wrapped up so nicely I wondered how the story would play out in the last book. She did a nice job in elaborating on their story. Nice read I would recommend it.
I LOVED this trilogy! It was sexy but focused more on the story than the sex. It also wasn't the perfect, lovey dovey story that some romances are. There were trials and tribulations just as there are with every relationship and family. I wouldn't say that it was realistic because Connor is a billionaire but realistic for someone rich I guess.
Loved the epilogue too! I really enjoy reading into the future so that I am not always imagining my own ending. I get so wrapped up in the story and feeling like a part of it that when I don't get a glimpse into the characters future I feel slighted.
I absolutely loved this series! Once I started reading I literally could not put it down. I loved Connor and Ellery so much. They healed each other in so many ways. Ellery was filled with so much love that was just waiting to be shared. Connor didn't stand a chance. I loved how she always stood up to him and didn't let him boss her around no matter how rich and successful he was. I just fell in love with all these characters. This book is filled with emotion, tears, love, passion, and suspense. Oh yes and don't forget hot hot sex. Omg the hot sex. Such a great series. I cannot wait to read the books about their kids Julia and Collin.
TITLE: The Forever Series SERIES: The Forever Series AUTHOR: Sandi Lynn GENRE: ROMANCE
MY RATING: 5 STARS
★★ Fresh, Seductive, AND Addictive!!★★
** This series is pretty FREAKING amazing in my opinion. I love this new take on "boy meets girl". I also liked that this Cancer story wasn't a typical Cancer, the sad and depressing story I love his protectiveness of her and his intensity and her independence and no-nonsense type of attitude. I have read this book many times over the years when I am between books and it will always be one of my favorite book series! Can't wait for the next book! **
What do you get when you have a broken man and a girl with a secret? You get the Forever trilogy: Forever Black, Forever You, Forever Us.
From page one I was rooting for Ellery Lane and Connor Black. Connor uses women as merely a release until Ellery Lane hauls his drunk behind out of a bar one night.
Emotions don't play a part in Connor's rules and Ellery has a big secret, can they each put their past behind them so they can be together forever?
Where to begin.. at first glance this book had promise, yet at this time I cannot finish based on two points.. #1 I had a hard time following the storyline based on everything happening too fast.. they meet and talk then love is instant!!! It seemed the author had a great premesis, yet wanted to get everything down on paper quickly. Point#2 The fast pace leave me unable to connect with the MS's in any emotional level... it doesn't make someone want to continue when the emotions aren't there... so for now I will bow out of this one... :/
Okay so this didn't get a 5 star from me because on several occasions I was so frustrated with Emmerly. I understand there's women out there like that but it drives me insane!
Aside from that, I loved to read and discover their story and love. I laughed, cried and overall enjoyed the series. There was a little predictability with some aspects but the one that threw me and completely blew my mind was...well you'll just need to read the series for yourself and discover it. ;-)
