TROLL Part Four is an erotic short of 6,000 words. This installment includes violence and disturbing language.

Twenty-one-year-old Kyla Adkins frequents the Internet in search of her soul mate.

While online, she meets hot and devilishly handsome Justin Brogan. Dangerous, arrogant and quite psychotic, Justin hacks into Kyla's computer and soon he controls everything, including her heart and her life.

THE TROLL SERIES

Excerpt:

Laptop screen flickered on, putting an end to my rambling thoughts. It was like a time bomb had been triggered and was fixing to go off.

Instead of a bomb, the laptop exploded in song.

'Only You' by The Platters played as a screensaver of photos roamed the monitor.

'For it's true, you are my destiny,' the old song went until I lurched forth and switched off the computer, then sat back to keep an eye on the screen.

The creepy laptop resurrected itself and crooned, 'You're my dream come true, my one and only you.'

"Jesus," I said. "This isn't happening. Not again. Can't be."

'Only You' started over. Not only was this happening, apparently it wasn't going to stop.

"Stop it, Justin!" I screamed at the monitor as I launched from the chair and prepared to kill the Toshiba L675.

Okay Soooo since these are short novellas I figured I'd summarize 3 & 4 ...it's like A dark soap operish nightmare..Kyla first gets waaay outta town and goes to stay with a friend, she soon realizes she is prego with creeper Justin's baby..And decides to give it up for adoption- Not long after the baby is delivered(around a week later)..Her friend's laptop and HER cellphone start alerting her in a way that says JUSTIN all over it..He of course tells her nicely to meet him or else..So you know SHE DOES..This author tells really good creeper stories...and this one just pulls you in!

This series is losing steam for me in some ways. Justin is still scary, but annoying. Kyla is also annoying, embracing a defeatist attitude and succombing to the idea that she holds no power over her own life. Justin may have done a number on her self-esteem...I realize that. But that said, how about doing some more research on Justin to empower herself? How about self-defense classes? I know I'm over-simplifying the situation she's in, but I'm fairly certain that sitting around moping and playing the violin for herself will help nothing...

I felt for Kyla. Especially with her decision regarding the baby. I kind of figured out the twist, but am kind of happy for them. I really wish there was a part 5. I’m guessing the author didn’t finish the series? Super bummed bc I would’ve like to officially see them get their hea.
