DANG IT, THIS IS THE WILDEST VOLUME I HAVE EVER READ FROM JOJO SERIES AND I LOVE IT SO DAMN MUCH. PERIODT.
its crazy how much copyrights araki put into this volume and probably the next volume too cuz this man aint playing around. He be putting any famous characters he can possibly found and spins some story about them that came back into full circle to stand ability. GENIUS I TELL U 😂😂😂

What the fuck am I reading. This volume was a surreal stream of wacky imagery. In a way it reminds me of the trend of "Erotic grotesque nonsense" from the 1920's that I read about in a Japanese history class. Minus the erotic part. Maybe? Maybe not, considering the ground man and the fungus guy from part 5. At this point, I wouldn't be too surprised if Araki busted out something inspired by The Caterpillar (How's that for a deep cut?). I would be eager to read something purely horror based from Araki, free of the PG13(?) constraints and shonen storytelling present in Jojo. I feel like we've moved in that direction with some of the stuff happening in Part 6, particularly the mutations caused by the green baby.
The slow build up for Bohemian Rhapsody was just excellent. I thought I was burnt out on "this is the work of an enemy stand" type scenarios, but the slow buildup here, along with the anticipation of what was coming made this work. From Annasui's hilarious anger Mickey Mouse to the revelation about what's going on with Annasui's soul leaving his body. I love this stand and it just came out of nowhere. It's so nice to be utterly blindsided by something I really enjoyed. It was a fantastic ride. I didn't wake up today thinking I was going to read a story about menacing anime Van Gogh, but here we are.

I love Jail House Lock part 5 (ch 694)! Jolyne just might be the baddest yet cutest Jojo yet. The scene wherein she saw the cake recipe book and declared that the last thing she ever wanted to eat was chocolate was so cute; I'm sad it wasn't animated. I love Jail House Lock as a stand too because even though its conditions sound super specific, its effects are just so real: being overwhelmed by info and discarding some of them! I love the theme of memories and how they relate to personality/identity and relationships in Stone Ocean so much.
Jail House Lock part 6 (ch 695) had a crazy (in a good way) pacing! I love how Jolyne can do so much with Stone Free!!
I loved the events in Jail-Break (ch 696). Pucci's new stand and the way its abilities were demonstrated were so eerie. I wish the baby growing into a man was animated. I love the development with Jolyne, Emporio, and Miu Miu too. Admittedly though, I wouldn't have figured out that Jolyne and Emporio were no longer under Jail House Rock's influence had I not seen the anime. Although, I still do not understand how Jolyne herself was able to use the stand on the guards. I also personally prefer how the anime showed Jolyne using it by dropping three bullets in front of the guards one by one. Nevertheless, I appreciate the humor and frustration with being stuck in a loop with very limited information. Jail House Rock's abilities has to be one of my new favorites from this series.
The 3 Men who were Carried to the Hospital (ch 697) was so wild??? Dio was revealed to have been whoring around. I really loved the air of mystery that still surrounds Pucci's new stand, and the phenomena with the number three in this chapter.
I am also really growing to love Pucci's character. I can't help but root for him for having such faith and trust in Dio. I absolutely love their relationship. I also like whatever's going on between Weather Report and Anasui as well. I would have loved to see how Foo Fighters could have fit into their dynamics as well.
Bohemian Rhapsody part 1 (ch 698) was so funny. I really enjoyed Anasui getting mad over the guidebook and sign. Give the man his cartoon characters!!
Bohemian Rhapsody part 2 (ch 699) was amazing. It had the same humor from the previous chapter what with Anasui being so needlessly aggressive over/with cartoon characters. Then the reader starts realizing that something really is wrong beyond the fictional characters going missing and popping up in the truck with them. The final chapters were especially amazing. I love the build up and reveal.
Bohemian Rhapsody part 3 (ch 700) was so fun because I really cannot figure out what Bohemian Rhapsody does??? I love little red riding hood being in the last panel of Weather Reporter in the bus.
Bohemian Rhapsody part 4 (ch 701) was also super fun because of Anasui's and the stands' antics. I still can't figure out what the stand does exactly though; there are so many things going on: body and soul separating, and stories coming to life.
Bohemian Rhapsody part 5 (ch 702) seems like someone's nightmare what with Anasui being chased by a goat who wants to kill him.

En un inicio me parecía un tanto aburrido todo lo relacionado tanto con el escape como también con Bohemia Rhapsody, pero después que escalo tanto la locura del stand, estuve completamente inmerso en la locura de la historia. Diferentes personajes de arte u obras populares tomando vida, siendo transportados a la vida real, y teniendo interacciones con las personas, lo considero una joya. Creo que el hecho de escalar tanto es la gracia de esa parte, porque justamente uno de mis problemas es que están en una cárcel, pero ahora están en Orlando, por lo que podrán aprovechar mejor su locación, y vaya que lo está haciendo viendo el mangaka al inicio de esta fuga.

La primera mitad del tomo, con el personaje de Miu Miu, me desesperó, en un punto intermedio, no sabia si me estaba gustando o no, pero luego de alguna manera llegó el personaje de Pucci a introducirnos una nueva idea.
Y luego la segunda mitad con Wather y Anasui, el principio fue lo que me intrigó, pero ya el final, el final, o más bien el último tramo me trajo muchas sensaciones extrañas, sigo sin entender bien como funciona Bohemia Rapsody, pero espero que esos y otros misterios se resuelvan más adelante.

WEATHER REPORT!! i love him so and he is such an interesting character. both him and emporio got to shine in the volume and i love love love them. also got to see bits and pieces of pucci’s new stand and what’s going on with him and i am thoroughly intrigued.

I love the Bohemian Rhapsody stand, i think its ability is so cool, i'm excited to see how the fight pans out. Great arc! Still kinda sad Foo Fighters died :,)
