Dragons fly again.

Narak walks into the frozen North, intent on saving those who wish to kill him. He seeks the Pity Stone and his quest will change him once again into something that he barely understands. He will do anything to save men from extinction, even if it costs a million lives.

Pascha lies in an enchanted sleep in Wolfguard but dreams of another place, learning the secrets of her power. She, too, will be changed forever.

The death-born warriors that she has unwittingly created struggle to come to terms with what they have become. Ancient magic is loose in the world once more, and the war is won, but with the dragons free again will that victory be lost in a final fiery apocalypse?

I am a fantasy author who lives in New Zealand within sight of the magnificent Southern Alps and surrounded by sheep, mountains and badly behaved rivers.

I was born in the UK, but have lived in Hong Kong, the UK and now New Zealand. I am very familiar with the Richter Scale.

My 200th read. 200 down and 800 more to go...

The book was marvelous. And I kind of figured out who the real culprit was. I am not saying that i was not surprised, its just that I had a hunch. I can't explain it without spoilers. So no explanations.

Good ending to a great series.

Fantastic!

I'm not ready for it to finish... I want more of Narak and Pascha...

Great ending to an amazing series! Every part of these books felt completely original and the characters were all very interesting. Usually when a book has multiple characters, I find at least one that I dread reading, but not in this book. I'm very sad to be finished with the Sparrow and the Wolf and will recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy.

I enjoyed this series, kept my interest and had good characters. If I had my druthers the Crow God would have been fleshed out more. I knew right away who the false god was and I like a good anti-hero. Nothing like a lovable rogue.

Found the whole series to be very good. Also the use of dragons in a different way was cool.

I came across this author at our local Library in Rangiora. As I am a fan of the genre decided to read books 1 & 2. Now I am a fan of this author and have gone on to read several more of his books. It was also nice to find out that he is a local resident.
