I am a fantasy author who lives in New Zealand within sight of the magnificent Southern Alps and surrounded by sheep, mountains and badly behaved rivers.
I was born in the UK, but have lived in Hong Kong, the UK and now New Zealand. I am very familiar with the Richter Scale.
The book was marvelous. And I kind of figured out who the real culprit was. I am not saying that i was not surprised, its just that I had a hunch. I can't explain it without spoilers. So no explanations.
Great ending to an amazing series! Every part of these books felt completely original and the characters were all very interesting. Usually when a book has multiple characters, I find at least one that I dread reading, but not in this book. I'm very sad to be finished with the Sparrow and the Wolf and will recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy.
I enjoyed this series, kept my interest and had good characters. If I had my druthers the Crow God would have been fleshed out more. I knew right away who the false god was and I like a good anti-hero. Nothing like a lovable rogue.
I came across this author at our local Library in Rangiora. As I am a fan of the genre decided to read books 1 & 2. Now I am a fan of this author and have gone on to read several more of his books. It was also nice to find out that he is a local resident.
