Loved reading this book. A quick read that will keep you going through the pages. Teaches how to overall just enjoy life, have more fun along the way. I think a lot of us can be considered guilty of being to serious, to focused on the wrong thing, and therefore not really enjoying all the blessings God has given us along the way. It gives great insight on how to have fun in a lot of different areas of your life, even romance. Recommend this book to everyone I know, even if you already believe you are having fun.
This was not what I was expecting, or at least it was so much more. The main idea running throughout is that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. And then Chris goes into detail in so many areas of life, with ideas, and principles that can make all areas of life more productive through the use of fun. Very entertaining, and a quick and easy read.
Definitely had me reviewing my life and how I can not just add more fun to my life, but also how to improve in so many areas.
Lacked any real substance. Not incredibly helpful or fun. I read this with my wife, and we had more fun making fun of the wording than actually laughing at any of the would-be humorous stories. I did appreciate the distinction between leisure and entertainment. There is good guidance on how to spend our free time.
I was expecting a little bit more. The book does have some good tips on how to make the success journey more enjoyable and many, many reasons why you should. I enjoyed the read but it just didn't catch me the way I wanted, perhaps I am just no fun.
A witty read -- has some insight, wisdom, & laughs sprinkled throughout its 150+ ages. Definitely worth a read , esp. To build the sift skills required for social capital
