NOMAD LOVE: OVERWHELMING, FREE, AND UNFORGETTABLE...
June Daniels watched helplessly as the Grizzlies Motorcycle Club destroyed everything she ever cared about. The ruthless gang controls her shattered life, condemning her to darkness without end...until she meets him.
Aaron “Maverick” Sturm doesn't know what it means to settle down. The President of the Prairie Devils Nomads charter is way too hardened, untamable, and dominant for any old lady.
But when he's sent West to establish a new charter, the beautiful woman he takes as collateral from the Grizzlies upends everything. Instincts Aaron never knew existed start to rage, primal desires to love and protect her in his bed, on his bike, and in his heart.
This bad boy loves a challenge. Claiming broken, mysterious June is his fiercest ever.
She can't forsake her need for vengeance on the Grizzlies. He can't let go, even when giving her what she needs most brings savage politics and blood war between MCs.
Will June find love and justice with her outlaw savior – or will her bitter determination ruin the man she loves and his club?
Note: this is a dark and gritty MC romance with language, violence, and love scenes as hard and raw as they come. Outlaw love takes no prisoners!
Nicole Snow is a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author. She found her love of writing by hashing out love scenes on lunch breaks and plotting her great escape from boardrooms. Her work roared onto the indie romance scene in 2014 with her Grizzlies MC series.
Since then Snow aims for the very best in growly, heart-of-gold alpha heroes, unbelievable suspense, and swoon storms aplenty.
Current fan favorites include her Enguard Protectors series, accidental love novels, plus long beloved MC romance thrillers like the Grizzlies and Deadly Pistols.
It wasn't like June Daniels life was rosy and blissful, her parents were lowlifes and constantly in trouble but witnessing their death and taken by the Grizzlies MC to pay off their debt is the worst kind of hell. June is trying to keep their hands off and breaks a little more everyday. That is until she meets her savior, Maverick President of the Prairie Devils MC.
Maverick knows June is going to be hid old lady, but first he has to get her to lose the shadows that darken her eyes. June doesn't know how to trust and although Maverick is doing his best to prove he is worth her trust, she has seen how MC work and is hesitant to fall hard for the man who is quickly stealing her heart.
This is a fantastic series. Not my favorite in the three but close up there. I think some of it is because I read #1 + #3 so know a bit about what was going to happen, so I wasn't surprised. I liked June a lot, she is not a warm fuzzy character but her strength makes her an intriguing character. Can't wait for more.
3.5 RATING-This is another case of a biker/MC read that most of my GR friends really enjoyed and I thought was just average. My thought is that perhaps there are now so many below average books flooding this genre lately that the average books have been elevated to above average status? I am guilty of that sometimes as well. Really, I guess it boils down to what works for you and what doesn't.
I actually thought this was going to be a stronger read for me then it turned out to be. There's plenty to like: an alpha biker hero, instant attraction, tons of dirty talking one lines sprinkled throughout...still, it was just okay for me, everything felt a bit obvious, nothing special. It doesn't measure up to a Susan Fanetti or Madeline Sheehan and didn't have enough likability to get rated higher just for the guilty pleausre of it.
Still, for readers that like biker/MC books, I'm guessing this is a pretty solid read among the books out there but not a favorite of mine. I don't think I'd continue on with this series unless there was just a story line that I just really liked.
first, I wanna say thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this book!
I really enjoy this series and this book I loved just as much if not more than the first, the characters, the story.. all of it was awesome, I cannot wait for the next book in the series! I love these guys!!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. wowza I read the first book in this series and I thought it was amazing I did not realize there would be more from this club to be shared. In this book we meet June and Maverick. Maverick is a part of the Nomad division of the Prairie Devils MC. June on the other hand is a woman that has been dealt one blow after another in a short amount of time. Her father was a member of the Grizzle MC in Montana before they believed that he had betrayed the club and started talking to the feds. It is never confirmed whether or not this is true but this does not matter to the club and they kill him for it. June also looses her mother to drugs and a couple of years later she looses her twin sister as well. As the only remaining member of her family she has learned to just keep her head down and maybe just maybe she can survive this life she has. That is before Maverick comes into the club that she is dancing in. On look between the two is all it takes, Maverick knows that June will be his as soon as possible. First he has to take care of a little club business before he can claim the woman who has intrigued him with just a look. If you have not read the first book you can read this book. There are a couple of parts in this book that will be more understandable if you have read the first book first. This book will keep you hooked from the first word till the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
This is a Book Worms Review. Review left by Leigh a Book Worms reviewer. Thank you Leigh We gave this book 4.5 Stars.
June Daniels loses all hope, or most, when the Grizzlies MC takes her and her sister after killing their parents. They are forced to work for the Grizzlies, becoming nothing more than their slaves. It just keeps getting worse. After a couple of years and her world being torn apart, June is saved from the stripping job she has been forced in to by the Grizzlies when Maverick shows up. The Grizzlies aren’t done with her yet, and she will have to face old memories when they show up again.
Maverick is president of the MC Prairie Devils. He’s a nomad that has been sent out west to start a new charter in another MC’s territory. When he shows up at the Grizzlies’ strip club, he can’t seem to take his eyes off of the girl on stage. Maverick ends up taking June as collateral from the Grizzlies, and she ends up so much more. Maverick will end up doing anything he can to protect June from the MC that has tormented her in the past.
I give this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Wow! This book is pretty gritty. There are drugs, alcohol, violence, and bloodshed! Oh, I can’t leave out the best part though. There’s some passionate, rough lovin’ going on. What a story! I will admit that I haven’t read too many MC books. I tend to go for a lighter read, but I sure am glad I read this one. The first few pages had pulled me in with the story of June’s past. I thought she would be this wimpy victim type character, but I was so wrong. June pushes through all the crap life has thrown at her. Then all of the sudden you get this bad ass Maverick, and he’s in instant love with June. He’s rough yet has a soft spot when it comes to her. I wasn’t expecting such graphic scenes with rape and killings. Whoa! The author didn’t hold back there! The love making scenes between June and Maverick were just as rough and raw. This book definitely got my attention to read more from this author. I can’t wait to read more!
I was asked to read the first book of this series, Outlaw kind of Love, and I really enjoyed it. It was different from the average motorcycle romance. I gave the first book five stars. It was a great start to the series. I was glad this book let us catch up a little with the original characters. Nomad kind of love was awesome! June is a totally bad ass! She wasn't weak, and didn't let her past consume her and make her feel unworthy. (I hate that). Maverick basically saved her from a crappy situation with a rough MC gang, and helped her get a fresh start. Their romance was very sweet and it wasn't rushed. Not exactly instant love, but the lustful stares and angst start from the get go. There is some MC drama that has to be taken care of since Maverick is in charge of setting up a new branch of the group. I like how he handles things. He is tough, sexy, and smart. Full package! This is a really good MC series, and I will look forward to seeing how the series continues. Nicole's writing in this book is right on target, and keeps the reader wanting to know what will happen next. I was so glad to have this ARC for my honest review. Great book!
I just finished Nomad Kind of Love and I just loved it. Anything to do with some Bikers and I am all over it. This is apart of her MC Series so I would definitely read the 1st one (Outlaw Kind of Law, Rachel and Throttle). You could read it as a stand alone but why in the world would you want to do that? Aaron AKA Maverick is President of one of Throttles charter MC. He has called Maverick in to set up another charter to bring in some more money. The thing is, is that there is already an MC there called The Grizzlies. But they have been pissing off the wrong people so their numbers have dwindled but can still pack a mean punch. Aaron not seeing any worries takes his crew to set up shop. Wanting to make a stand, they show up at Dirty Diamond which is a strip club and show them who is boss. What Maverick didn't expect is June, their main stripper. He is beyond taken by her and takes her as collateral. June hasn't had an easy life. Her dad, which was apart of the Grizzlies was murdered and her mother a junkie. Her and her twin sister were taken when they murdered their dad and they had been there ever since. Her sister kills herself so June thinks that she will never get away from them so when Maverick offers his hand to her, she thinks that she is going from one prison to another. How wrong she was. Maverick and June have an instant attraction but she denies it because of how things have turned out in her life. But what happens when that attraction wont be denied? Will the Grizzlies come after what is theirs? You will have to read and see.....
I really enjoyed this story. There was alot to it at the beginning with explaining how Maverick and Throttle were connected and I was confused at first but was able to comprehend it and it went smoothly for me. Like I had said before Bikers are it for me so I was 100 percent into this story but it also has to be a good story. This was for me a different spin on the bikers story. I hadn't really learned about the charter areas, its usually what happens in the MC stays in the MC so it was a good learning experience to read. I liked all the characters good or bad. They all had their pivotal moments and you couldn't have one without the other. Wondering is something will happen with Blaze. Sexy VP for Maverick!! I loved also being able to see Rachel and Throttle. It was good to catch up with them.
Hmmmmm, Maverick. I loved him. He was sexy, controlling in a good way, and just plain scrumptious. I love reading a man with power. I like to see what he does with it and for me, he wasn't to overbearing. He was just RIGHT! I liked June too. She was a strong character, not to weak and strong when she needed to be. I can say though that the chemistry was hot. In and out of the bedroom. My favorite wast that he was seeking vengeance for her. It made me smile!
This is not your typical biker book and that is what makes it good for me. Its dirty, gritty and love their potty mouths! Seriously though, it was a quick sexy story about bikers. What more could you ask for?
First I wanted to thank Nicole Snow for contacting me with the opportunity to read and review Nomad Kind of Love. Nicole is a new-to-me author and I have a tiny obsession with MC romances so I was all in. Plus the covers made my eyes happy...all the muscles and tattoos...very nice!! ;)
Nomad Kind of Love is the second book in this series and although each book can be read as a stand alone, I wanted to get a feel for this series so I actually read Outlaw Kind of Love(book 1) first. Book 1 with Jack/Throttle and Rachel was well written but it was just an ok read for me. I was disappointed because I had seen a lot of great reviews but it just didn't grab me and I had trouble connecting with the characters and story.
I was hoping for a better result with Nomad Kind of Love and Maverick and June and I got it. Still I didn't fall in LOVE with this book like I was hoping but I connected with the story and H/h so much more and I actually liked Throttle and Rachel more in this book too.
I Loved the opening..."To find a knight, first you need a dragon. My dragon came in columns of snorting engines and leather jackets emblazoned with a roaring bear. It reeked motor oil, cheap tobacco, and hard violence from every savage nook and cranny. It arrived on the morning of my eighteenth birthday, the day everything I knew and loved was burned to cinders, including my soul. Rather than becoming a bright young woman, I became a dark shadow. Lost. Forever broken. Emotionally murdered. They ruined me and made me believe I was wrecked beyond redemption. They infected me with their evil and I waited for it to finish me. Inevitable, right? I thought so, but then I met him..." How freaking awesome of an opening is that?? It sucked me right in.
June got on my nerves a little but after all she had to suffer and endure I really did feel bad for her. She was so strong to have survived as long as she did under those conditions. I liked how Maverick was so patient with her and didn't give up on her even when she was being a total bitch to him and everyone else in the club. I also liked how he protected her and helped her get revenge. When June finally stopped giving Maverick a hard time I really liked them together as a couple and the sex between them burned up my Kindle. lol ;)
So, I liked Nomad Kind of Love. It entertained me, melted my panties and kept me interested enough that I want to continue on to Savage Kind of Love with Blaze (Maverick's brother) and Shelly. It also made me a fan of Nicole Snow.
Passionate and deadly; a sharp story that's sure to entertain!
June's spirit has been badly damaged by the MC gang her father belonged to. They have stolen her family and her freedom, turning her into a plaything; forced to display her body for the pleasure of men. Trapped in an unforgiving world, she has all but given up hope on ever escaping and instead focuses her remaining strength on survival.
Maverick grew up in the MC 1% way of life. He embraces the violence along with the freedom; being president of the Nomads gives him the respect of his men and their very souls belong to the mother charter. When he is asked to start a new charter near rival territory and expand their business routes Maverick relishes the challenge that's sure to turn bloody.
The very first night he sees June something in her brokenness calls to him. Suddenly he is torn between two purposes, serving the MC and capturing the spirited woman he senses buried deeply inside June. Nothing in life is ever easy, but brutal and bloody is the MC way. Nothing and no one will stop him from owning June, but the more time June spends in his bed and under his body, the more he wants. Feeding the flames of desire are not enough any more, and Maverick finds himself wondering if the time may be right to claim an June as his Old Lady and start looking towards a future he's never contemplated before.
The dark and deadly world in Nomad Kind of Love is full of passionate extremes. Living the MC life is not for the faint of heart. Nicole Snow builds a world with her words that draws readers in, tempting and teasing readers with her Alpha male characters and the women who stand at their sides. Well written and executed, with only minor editing errors that do not significantly detract from the story-line, Nomad Kind of Love is an adventure from start to finish!
A copy of Nomad Kind of Love was proved by the author in exchange for an honest review.
June Daniels watched her family being killed and was forced to live with their killers. She has no hope of escaping them when Aaron "Maverick" Sturm appears at the strip club she's working. They instantly connect and he takes her from her captors. Maverick wants June and she wants him too, but she fights it, afraid she went from one cage to another. But Maverick isn't the rough biker he seems to be. Will she give him a chance and happinness a chance?
Loved the story and the characters. June grew up with her father, a member of the Grizzlies MC, her mother, a junkie, and her twin sister, Clara. She is ripped from her home when the MC kills her father and takes her and her sister with them. When they try to escape, Clara is raped and killed while June watches. June becomes numb and works as a stripper for the MC for two years. When she sees Maverick for the first time she awakes. He saves her and takes her with him and his brothers from the Prairie Devilvs MC. All June wants now is revenge and move on with her life. She is a strong woman, that does what needs to be done when the time comes. Aaron "Maverick" Sturm is the President of the Nomads of the Prairie Devils MC and is on a mission to setup a charter at Phyton, near the Grizzlies territory. When scooping the strip club owned by the Grizzlies he sees June and is immediately attracted to her. He decides to take her with him. He tries to breach her walls and when he learns of her past, he promises to help her get her revenge. He looks rough on the outside but he is very protective and kind with the one he loves. The story is great. It's action and very steamy scenes and keeps the reader wanting more. Loved to see how Throttle and Rachel were doing! If you love MC stories, action, steamy scenes and dirty mouths this book is for you!
I received a free copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. June has lost everything, her father killed by grizzlies MC, her mother died most liked from a drug overdose thanks to the Grizzlies. While June and her twin sister Clara, are taken by the Grizzlies and are treated like slaves. They are owned by the Grizzlies with no way of escape. When they do get a chance to escape, they are caught and while June was made to watch, Clara was raped. Things only get worse for June but when you are in hell, who can save you. Just when she thinks she will be stuck with the Grizzlies forever, in walks the devil. Maverick is president of the Nomads, part of the Prairie Devils MC. When he sees June, he sees more than a stripper and he wants to get to know her intimately. Can June let go of the past and let Maverick help her heal? Will Maverick finally take an "Old Lady"? What will happen when the Grizzlies and the Prairie Devils collide? I am loving this series. If you like a great MC story that will have you going through different emotions, then this series is for you. Be sure to check out Outlaw Kind of Love, book 1 of the Outlaw Love series.
To say that June's dancing affected Maverick would be a damn understatement, "eff," I muttered to myself. My co** strained horribly in my pants. For a second, I was worried I'd lose my load like a effing high school kid on prom night." Maverick may not like taking demands but the boy sure likes to give them, "I watched him tear a condom packet with his teeth, and then roll the rubber on his massive length. "Soon as I claim you, I'm gonna get you set up to take it bareback. But for tonight, this'll have to do." It kind of shocked me that June could shock Maverick I mean that boy has been around but apparently just not around in a full circle, "god damn! Where'd you learn to suck co** like that, babe?" Her tongue flicked up around my crown and I almost unloaded in her mouth. "Eff me! I don't give a sh**. Just. Keep. Doing it." I really hope Blaze's story is next, and I also hope ole' Tanky boy gets a story. I really do love this series.
This book was jaw dropping delicious! June has lost everything and everyone she has ever loved to the Grizzlies MC and has turned herself "off" emotionally until Aaron enters her life. Aaron is big, dangerous and wonderful....he is also president of the Prairie Devils MC and the last person she should want. I loved the chemistry between these two fascinating characters. June has spent years being abused by the Grizzlies and she suddenly finds herself property of a rival MC, whose treatment of woman is polar opposite, she finds herself free to be herself without fear. This storyline drew me in from page one and I found myself loving this well written and emotional romance. I highly recommend this book to readers who love MC romances! I received a copy in exchange for an honest review (and I am now a fan of this author and especially this series)
Maverick - The nomads president, Throttle 9 the mother chapter president) asks him and the other nomads to set up a temporary charter in Python to expand their territory. He's badass and doesn't tolerate bullshit. He's hard and on a mission.
June - kidnapped by the rival Grizzly MC, she escapes because of Maverick and is some what his "hostage" until things with the Grizzlys blow over. She's had a very rough past but has balls bigger than Maverick.
Tank and Blaze - 2 of Maverick's MC brothers who are just really great secondary characters who play important roles.
Vulture and Scoop - epic asshole villains who live up to their names well.
This had tons of violence, seriously HOT steamy rough sex, a war, an epic showdown and just all kinds of MC debauchery!!!
This is a hot read!! I had a little trouble reading this book, because of the MC angle, but it was still a very good book with an awesome story line. June and Aaron AKA Maverick is a very hot couple who are both survivors who know love when it hits them and will do anything to keep that love. This story has an HEA, but has graphic violence, illegal activities, attempted rape and actual rape, so be warned before starting this book and don't read if these things offend you. I liked this book even though it is not my usual read because of the MC angle, but I will probably read more stories in the series especially the one about Tank and Blaze if she ever writes their stories.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. First things first, holy hot sex!!! Maverick and June together was off the charts hot - so be prepared for that...Next, I loved how strong June was in spite of everything she went through, she's a survivor. Seeing a woman who should've been broken continue to live and fight is something I love reading about and this book gave me that. Maverick is just badass! There's no other way to put it, he is all types of sexy alpha biker. Maverick alone is reason enough to read this lol
this book was much better than the first book. there was still instant love but it wasn't as ridiculous this time around. there was violence, there was some really graphic sex and i overall enjoyed this plot much more. I still felt that her writing style was odd and some of the dialogue was ridiculous.
was this the best MC book ever? no, not in any way. was it entertaining? yes. I might even buy the rest of the books in the series. I would definitely read them if I could get them from the library or loaned from another nook user.
I love this book and this series. It is just a plain ol' fun story! There is violence, some darkness, passion, lots of steamy scenes, an MC alpha and a very sweet woman (even if life tries to mark her otherwise). The plot is there and the characters are interesting. I like that the MC structure is a bit different (as they are Nomads within the larger club) and the violence and grit of all the MC men.
Nomad Kind of Love: Prairie Devils MC Romance (Outlaw Love)
Wow! Nicole Snow does it again! This story takes four Nomads and has them settle down in Python, Montana. Nomads don't stay in one place they are always on the move. This is Maverick and June's story. Will Maverick be able to put down roots and stay in one place? You will not want to put this book down. The very hot sexy bits will keep you reading late into the night if it doesn't melt your ereader first. There are no cliffhangers and always a happily ever after. You don't have to read the books in the order written but I think you will enjoy the series more if you do. Thank you Nicole for sharing your bad boy bikers and their kickass ladies with us.
Loved Maverick and June story , Nicole has a great way in her books of keeping you so engrossed in the story you can't put it down this is my third time reading this series, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did , please keep writing Nicole love all your books.
My star rating for ‘NOMAD KIND OF LOVE: PRAIRIE DEVILS MC ROMANCE' is 4 out of 5 stars! :)
My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘NOMAD KIND OF LOVE: PRAIRIE DEVILS MC ROMANCE' by Author Nicole Snow (via: Booksmoviesfandoms.wordpress.com):
First off, I’ve yet to read book #1 of the Outlaw Love Series but thankfully the stories in this series are only slightly intertwined because the characters make cameos within the novels, but the stories are individuals. What drew me to this novel was the cover and the synopsis for the story, so I had to check it out. The story is written in the two P.O.V.’s(point of views) of June Daniels and Aaron ‘Maverick’ Sturm.
June Daniels is a teenage girl with a twin sister, who lives at home with their mother and a father who is a part of the Grizzlies Motorcycle Club. She is awaken one night by the sounds of the Grizzlies Motorcycle Club invading her home and shattering her home life forever. The Grizzlies MC decide to take control of June from then on. Everything becomes a real life nightmare, with no end in sight.
The Prairie Devils MC are sent out West and arrive to town, looking to establish a new charter in the area. The President of the Prairie Devils MC is a biker who lives as a Nomad and rides with his crew where ever the mother charter needs them. Aaron ‘Maverick’ Sturm is handsome, tall, tattooed and dominant. They ride over to check out a local business owned by the Grizzlies MC to get an idea of what they are about. Also, to let their presence be known. That’s when he first sees her.
Maverick is taken by June and her beauty and the sadness in her eyes. June becomes collateral to a shaky agreement made between the Prairie Devils MC and the Grizzlies MC, and becomes collateral property of the Prairie Devils MC. The President of the Prairie Devils MC, Maverick, becomes protective and finds himself wanting to know, keep and claim this mysterious yet edgy collateral named June. But all June has on her mind is revenge.
Will Maverick be the one to help June get the vengeance she seeks? Can her outlaw savior Maverick be the love June needs or will she only cause problems that will bring war to the door of the Prairie Devils MC? This story is definitely a nice dose of rough bikers, a battle for control and a lot of erotic moments. This is a gritty and hot read so be ready for that. If that is your kind of novel, then I do recommend this because it brings you the biker world in full force. Check it out!
My Blogging Reader's Star Rating for ‘NOMAD KIND OF LOVE: PRAIRIE DEVILS MC ROMANCE' is 4 out of 5 stars! :)
Visit my Blog and see Memorable quotes and character photos of how I imagined them while reading NOMAD KIND OF LOVE.
Overall Series (quickie) This weekend I read the entire Outlaw Love series by Nicole Snow. The series includes in order Outlaw Kind of Love, Nomad Kind of Love and Savage Kind of Love. They can be read as standalone but I would recommend reading in order as each book chronologically picks up after the other and makes for a more enjoyable read. I am going to be honest and it might just be my overdose of MC romance talking but this is not my favorite but not my worse. I would rate the entire series overall, Three Crowns. But let’s dish my favorite book in the series book two Nomad Kind of Love.
Nomad Kind of Love: Prairie Devils MC Romance (Outlaw Love), Nicole Snow
Aaron “Maverick” Sturm is the President of the Prairie Devils Nomads charter and is tasked with starting a charter in Grizzlies territory. Although they are outmanned the town wants the Grizzlies out because of the atrocities committed in the name of the MC. June Daniels has been held captive by the Grizzlies ever since they busted into her family’s home and changed her life forever. She is all that is left of her family and living a life she never imagined. The only thing she wants is vengeance against the Grizzlies. Taking as collateral against the Grizzlies June never counted on falling for the kind of man she hates, a man in a MC or falling for his dominant demands. Maverick will protect June she is his property and will be his ol lady, a Prairie Devil never backs away from a challenge.
2Bookswagger Marcia: Three Crowns, swagger jacked, decent read. Out of all three stories in the series, I found this one to have the most creative plot line and a heroine who did not make me cringe. June had been through a lot and the way she dealt with things came across as pretty realistic. There were things implied that she might have done that were not so good for her but living captive with a MC that basically (no spoiler) changed life as you know it would leave some emotional scars. So she read realistic. Some of the things that drew me out of the story were the motorcycle club aspects (like I am an expert…not) but I like what I like and some of it just did not do it for me. Maybe it will for you! I must admit though, I am getting tired of all the strippers in these stories and the author does the stripper heroine again in book three. In this story it was different but at this point I am not reading another book about a stripper for a long, long time. They seem to be all up through these books and I think with me reading so many over the past two weeks it became glaringly obvious to me how overdone this is in this sub genre. But I liked the way this author did it, so it was cool. No side hustles for June if you get what I am saying.
Straight to the Swagger: Alpha bad guy, who is only good to his club and his future ol lady has to fight huge battle to keep mc charter from being destroyed and girl from being killed as part of revenge. Heroine has to have her vengeance in order to find closure and realize she still have family with her ol man and his now her mc as well.
Firstly, I want to say Thank You so much to Nicole for sending me a copy of this book.
I LOVE MC books, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one!!! I haven’t gotten the chance to read the first book in this series yet (although I do plan on reading the entire series), so I can’t base anything off that one.
I was completely hooked from the first page. If you weren’t then I don’t know what you were reading, lol. In this story we’re introduced to June & Maverick (Aaron). June is a young girl who has been dealt a hell of a messed up life, and it only gets worse before it gets better. She find herself in the hands of the Grizzlies MC & that life is pure hell in which she doesn’t see a way out. Her Knight comes in the form of Maverick, the President of the Prairie Devils Nomad Chapter. He’s an extremely alpha, hard & intense man, but as soon as he sets his eyes on June in the Dirty Diamond, the strip club she’s been forced into working at for the last 2 years of her life. He knows, 1 that she’s destined to be his & 2 he’ll do any and everything to bring some light back into her life. Now there’s definitely no Rainbows and Butterflies. June will have to grow & face her demons before she gets her HEA, but at least she wont be alone this time. Their story is an intense & wild ride.
I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. I want to know Throttle's story & see what’s next for Blaze.

**I RECEIVED THIS NOVEL AS AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**
This is the second book of the Prairie Devils MC Series I've read. This book focuses on The Nomads chapter of the Prairie Devils MC, their hardened President, Aaron 'Maverick' Strum and the girl he rescues from trouble, June Daniels.
The book begins with June and her twin sister Chloe witnessing the murder of their father at the hand of his own MC, The Grizzlies. Instead of wiping out the entire family, The Grizzlies kill the father, inject their mother with drugs and essentially kidnap the two girls.
Fast forward about a year later, and June is forcibly working as a stripper in a Grizzly-owned strip joint. She does whatever the Grizzlies tell her to do, as a way to appease them and hopefully keep from being on the receiving end of one of their beatings, or possibly worse.
One night, she devises a plan for Chloe and herself to escape The Grizzlies, but when June put the plan into action, Chloe draws attention to them by dawdling and looking at a picture of the family. When June tries to get Chloe out of the clubhouse, Chloe has a meltdown, which alerts the members. It results in the members sexually attacking Chloe and June passing out.
Around this time, Throttle, the President of the Prairie Devils (who we met in Book One -- Outlaw Kind of Love) sends Maverick into Grizzly territory to open a chapter there. Upon casing the Grizzly strip club, he takes June as 'collateral' to ensure that the Nomads/Prairie Devils aren't taken out.
After this, it turns into your typical MC story... Hardened biker turns to a softie for a girl and becomes ruthless when he feels what is his is threatened.
Not to say that this is a bad concept. I actually think more men should have this quality. Maybe not to the level that MC members take it, but I digress...
Overall, I liked this book. I'm relatively new to the MC genre of books, so I'm not too sure if Nicole is 'being true' to the MC way of life. But this is fiction, and what's fiction without a little fantasy?
However, once again, I felt her portrayals of Maverick 'claiming' June was rushed and barely touched on. I would LOVE to see Nicole go more in-depth with the 'claiming' process. I can't believe that the only time an 'old lady' is claimed is right before a huge battle.
I like Nicole's writing style and I look forward to reading more work by her.
