Untainted is book three, the final book in The Photographer Trilogy by Sarah Robinson. These books are both available individually or in a box set. This series will evoke just about every emotion you have. You will feel joy, pride, anger, heartbreak and horror. This third book, more than the other two, kept me on the very edge of my seat. I could not stop reading.

We start up exactly where book two ended. Something horrible has happened. Annie and Derrick work together to try to find Kate. They know they are working against the clock if they want to find her alive. They now know who the photographer is and Annie knows where he lives. They are ahead of the detectives, Liz and Mike, so they go to the photographer’s apartment to search for clues.

The photographer is truly an evil sick man. The dots are finally connected and we find out why he is doing what he has done. His sick mind has no boundaries. Annie and Derrick go on their own to try to save Kate whom they both love so much. Liz and Mike are on their way but will they get there in time?

 photo MSN-gun-firing_zpsyyzggb54.jpg

Before it’s all over, the photographer has taken so much from Kate. She could let it ruin her life, let the sadness rule her future. But, she doesn’t. She rises above it all and is stronger for it. Because of it, she finally finds purpose. I said it before but I think Kate is the strongest woman I have ever read about.

 photo sisters-teaser-untainted_zpszhmaqxbm.jpg

I am not giving away as much as I usually do because I feel it would spoil the book. Just know that you will barely be able to catch your breath in everyone’s pursuit to catch the photographer and save Kate. If you read the box set, be sure to take a minute to read the acknowledgements at the end. I knew this series was loosely based on real events but I was still moved. Also, at the very end of the boxed set, there is a deleted scene that adds to the state of mind of the photographer. Don’t miss it.

I’m so glad I read this series. Just reading about Kate makes me want to be a better person, a stronger more positive person. I can honestly say that I will not soon forget about Kate, Derrick, Annie, and the rest of the characters.

Untainted by Sarah Robinson is the third book in the Photographer Trilogy romantic suspense series and the fourth one that I have read by this author. The author brings the expected romance and suspense. However, there is much more to the novel once you get into it. This was a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy.

The Photographer isn’t at home, but he has taken a prisoner. The police, Kate, Annie, and Derrick have been closing in on him. Who is dead? Who is missing? Are they alive?

Kate, Annie and Derrick are relatable characters with both strengths and flaws. Kate is a fighter and refuses to let her attacker define her life. The additional secondary characters including Detective Mike McCraig, Detective Liz Snow, and others provide support or conflict, but without the same amount of depth.

The prose was well-written and engaging. The story contains some hard to read themes including child molestation and assault. The author tackles these difficult subject matters and handles them well. Secrets come to light. Love is tested and heartbreak abounds. This trilogy needs to be read consecutively rather than individually unless you enjoy cliffhangers.

In addition to the usual intense connections, the book tackles other important issues (besides those mentioned above) including family, friendship, trust, love, bravery, purpose, commitment, forgiveness, fear, and the different ways victims and law enforcement respond to such assaults

Overall, this was an emotional read that tackles some serious issues with sensitivity. It is moving, devastating at times, and uplifting at other times. At the end of the book is a note from the author that discusses why this book was written and shows why this book is so powerful.

Thanks to the author for a complimentary copy of this novel and the opportunity to read and provide an honest review. Opinions are mine alone and are not biased in any way. The publication date was November 10, 2014.

TITLE: Untainted
SERIES: (Photographer Trilogy, #3)
AUTHOR: Sarah Robinson
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
RELEASE DATE: November 10th 2014
MY RATING: ★★★★★

A bittersweet ending to the Photographer Trilogy what an epic way to end this series..And for the life of me I still can not believe it took me so long to read this trilogy..

REVENGE

"You're going to die today, Kate"
It's quite fitting that the rope that killed my father is now around your wrists.
You're going to die the same way he did. An eye for an eye, isn't that how it goes?"

This whole series was about Lust, Love, Loss and most importantly Forgiveness in it's rawest form, it will leave you spell bound from page one right up to the last page written in this series..

We're birds
Can't you feel those wings under you
Let's fly away together, ok? Anywhere you want, Annie
I'll be happier as a bird, right Katie?
Fly away, Annie. It's okay. I'm right behind you, baby girl.

Derrick, you can break my heart a thousand times into a million little pieces, and I will still pick them up and put them back in your hands. Always, Derrick. You're my always.

She loved him enough to forgive him everything, and he loved her enough to selfishly let her.

JUSTICE

Fly away, baby girl. Be happy. I'll see you again one day

It was so hard writing up this review for the main reason whichever way I went it would be giving part of the story away, the only thing I can really add to my review is the urge that you one click this box set, I seriously know for a fact that you won't regret it, to better sum up this series is that all consuming sadness of things out of Kate's control, the loss she was subjected to through the hands of a sadistic killer..

An absolutely fitting conclusion to the trilogy. Your heart will be in your throat, your stomach will churn, you'll cry, you'll gasp, you'll be shocked, but one thing you won't do is be able to put this book down.

I was fortunate enough to read an advance copy, and as I post this, I'm still in shock at the twist and turns the story takes...I'm going to go read it again now!

I was one of the lucky few who got to beta read for this AMAZING author! I've been waiting for this book for almost 6 months, and from the moment I read a few excerpts..... I was wanting MORE!!!! Let me tell you this book was hard for me to put down & when I had to I was sneaking back to read more!!! The story of Kate & Derrick goes through it's twists & turns & struggles of life, tradgedy & the strength to get back up when you have been kicked down. I went from intrigued & curious, to sad & then to straight out crying! But leave it to Sarah Robinson to not get the last laugh! You will love this amazing story of the struggles of some of the horrors of life but love conquers all in the end!!!

Sarah has done it again! If you liked the first 2 books in this series you will be overjoyed by the finale. I was crying more than once, angry, and laughing by the finish. The love story of Derrick and Kate is not like any other. Their struggles are real and you can feel it. I finished this book a few days ago and still having a book hangover. You will not be disappointed, that I promise. So thank you Sarah Robinson for an Epic finish to the perfect trilogy.

** review for BareNakedWords **

‘Untainted’ is one hell of an ending to what has turned out to be one my favourite series this year. It will leave you gasping for breath and your heart lodged in your throat. You’ll cry, sigh, laugh and by the end have you fist pumping the air shouting “BOOM. In Your Face”!!!!!

"When you’re suddenly thrust into a world of darkness, it can be impossible to distinguish what your senses are telling you.”

That is exactly what we were thrust into when starting ‘Untainted’. Kate is missing, with no clue where she was, or if she was still alive. Questions flying around your head needing answers to. Emotions at all time high, and you hope, just hope you’d come out in the end unscathed...let’s just say, you don’t.

Derrick and Kate’s relationship has definitely been through the wringer and nothing has come easy for them. And ‘Untainted’ is no different. They must go through even more struggles. Twists & turns, and tragedy meet them head on and it’s up to them to fight for survival.

Derrick is determined not to fail Kate again, and will do anything to get her back with him; even if it does mean undermining the detectives and taking matters in to his own hands.

Will Derrick find Kate in time? And in the end will Love conquer all, and give Derrick and Kate the life they want together?

“I failed you again. I wasn’t there when I promised you that I would take care of you for the rest of your life. You’re going to be my wife and I’ve done nothing to deserve it, I just keep breaking your heart and your trust over and over.”

“Derrick, you can break my heart a thousand times into a million little pieces, and I will still pick them up and put them back in your hands. Always, Derrick. You’re my always.”

The ending couldn’t have been more perfect and I wholeheartedly agree with what Sarah chose to do with it. It wouldn’t have been right to end it any other way.

“Memories don’t live in boxes and graves, Kate, They live in our hearts and souls, that’s what makes them live forever.”

Sarah; Thank you for this book, this series. I am undoubtedly in love with it and I am so happy with how everything turned out. And to read that part of it is based on personal experience---I take my hat off to you. You have definitely taken back what was once attempted to be taken.

This truly is a wonderful read, and series that will stay with you after you’ve finished.

If you haven’t already had the pleasure to read these books, I highly recommend you go and pick up a copy now. I guarantee you, you’ll not regret it.

This was truly an unexpected love for me. I didn't expect this final book in the trilogy to suck me in this much.

We have followed Derrick and Kate through two books and this is the final, with the exception of an epilogue that I am dying to read. The books have always had a criminal and psychological thriller background with a a hint of romance from our main characters, but this book is sure to trump them all. I was a bit surprised when I started this one, I was expecting some of the same but it was so far from it. I was on edge, I was preparing myself to have nightmares from what I was reading. I have said it before and as cliche as it may sound I will say it again, any author that can stir deep emotion is talented.

When the book starts we are left to deal with an enormous cliffhanger from the previous book, one that will literally leave you with chills, and then the aftermath, to follow out all the clues and the story. To have you hoping that characters won't follow through with their instincts, but they will and thank goodness because this book will keep you up late at night reading to find out where the author is taking you.

I have to say that this is the best work that I have read of Sarah Robinson's, her genre is truly a sexy thriller. Her talent comes in the form of a mystery, as twisted as it may be, this book was real, and full of emotions, and drama. I can't wait to see what else could come from this author.

I would like to thank Sarah for the opportunity to read and review not only this book, but this entire series. If you enjoyed the other two books in this series then I urge you to one click this new book, and then please write a review, or write to Sarah and tell her what your thoughts are. It's one thing to write a story, it's another to write something that is heartfelt, it takes true courage to write about something that you lived through.

*This book is intended for anyone over 18 due to violence and sexual content.

5 GUT-WRENCHING STARS!
I've been waiting for this book the moment I finished reading Tainted Pictures back in April so I kind of squeal when I was given the privilege to read this book in advance.
Sarah Robinson doesn't disappoint.
It has been an emotional read for me.
This book is raw, gut-wrenching, nerve-racking and most importantly empowering!
I am happy for Kate and Derrick, they've been through leaps and bounds and I am so glad that they've got their HEA.
I really admire Sarah as an author,  her writing prowess is something that is unique and realistic. Like I said in my review on the first two books of this series, this should be an episode of Criminal Minds or CSI, that is how she brilliantly written this series.
Reading her Dedication (I cried! ) and Acknowledgements moved me (I know if you've read this book you will totally get me). When I think of  Sarah Robinson, i just don't think about the Best Selling Author,  she is now listed in my hero list! You are one of the bravest person I know and thank you for creating stories like this because it maybe sad to admit but these things were happening around the world!
" The world might be tainted, but we don’t have to be."
I always believe that everyone deserves a happy ending and second chances in life and in love, not just in books but in real life.

HOLY SH**!!! I've been DYING to finish this series and was so lucky to be a beta reader! I finished it in one day- ONE DAY! That rarely ever happens to me. I absolutely loved, loved, loved it.

It was action packed, but had unbelievably sweet romantic moments. And on top of that- the twists! Oh my goodness, I never saw certain things coming, and I absolutely LOVED the ending. LOVE. It was something I NEVER would have thought of, but now I can't imagine any other ending, it was perfect.

Warning- get some tissues and keep all the lights on while reading!! There are scary moments and there are teary moments! Like snot running out your nose, crying your eyes out moments. I HIGHLY recommend this book, actually the WHOLE SERIES, to EVERYONE!

It definitely has some dark moments, so be prepared. But this book is SO amazing and SO well written!! I'm so glad that I got to read it, now I just don't know what to read next because I have a HUGE BOOK HANGOVER! Actually a HUGE SERIES HANGOVER!!

This is the third and final book in the Photographer Trilogy and the word that comes to mind is WOW!! Sarah has nailed it with a great suspenseful ending to a great series! I found my self totally engrossed in the story and wanting to know what happens next. Will the bad guy get caught or will he find a way to escape what he has done. Wondering if Kate could ever put the past behind her and ever be free. Wondering if Derrick can keep his word and always be there for Kate. One thing I did see is how much love these two have for each other. I felt it all in this one, angst, love, hurt, pain, loss, healing, trust. Trust me, you do not want to miss this series. Start at book one and just keep on going until the end! Great job and an amazing series! I highly recommend this one!!

I'm a bit at a lost for words. I'm usually worried about conclusions to trilogies/series because I'm sometimes left feeling as if the book isn't concluded or the ending is weak, compared to the beginning of the book, or the series as a whole. But I thoroughly enjoyed the ending to this trilogy. I feel as if I have all the answers I've been wondering since book one, loved the plot-line to this book, and I really appreciated all the life lessons, and general lessons, I learned from these books.

Like, just because something terrible happened to you, it doesn't mean it has to define you. Living your life is the best revenge against someone who has hurt you. And sometimes, we don't get the justice we want. Kate, the main character of the book, grew so much over the three books. She took a horrible situation and used it as motivation to strive for a life she wanted to live and for the people she loved.

This book leaves off where the second one left off. The Photographer, an infamous serial killer that has killed countless women, is on the loose, but this time he has someone captive. Everyone knows who he is now, but he's smarter than they anticipated and he's two steps ahead of them.

One person is dead and another kidnapped in the beginning of the novel and Kate is one of those people. But which one is she?

Racing against time, Derrick teams up with Kate's little sister, Annie, to figure out who the killer is, why is he obsessed with Kate, and what he has planned next? Will they finally get the answers they have been asking themselves since the day the Photographer entered their lives? And when the past comes back to bite everyone in the butt, will everyone have the courage to move on and save each other?

In this book, nobody is safe. There is death, there is loss, and somebody makes the ultimate sacrifice to protect the person they love. This book will make you cry and you will question everything as you read, but it's worth it. I can't remember the last time I cried so much in a book. Many parts of this book are sad, but it leaves you satisfied. Like, you knew something big was going to happen, but still didn't really expect it. The book was well-written and I'm really happy with the ending of this trilogy!

I highly recommend this book to everyone! You'll love everything about this trilogy, from the character development, to the overall plot of the trilogy.

My favorite quotes:

"Birds don't get mad, remember?"

"I'm flying right behind you, baby girl. I'm right here, I'll never leave you. We will fly anywhere you want."

"Love means never having to say I'm sorry."

"Memories don't live in boxes and graves, Kate. They live in out hearts and souls, that's what makes them live forever."

"To every man and woman who has looked evil in the face and can still hold their head high, still love, and still remember that there is good in the world if you are willing to look for it. Lastly, and most importantly, to everyone who has learned that the evil we've seen and the evil we've been, will never define who we are inside. The world might be tainted, but we don't have to be."

I have followed this series since its inception, and this final book in the series is by far the best book! Sarah has out done herself on this one. The first few pages of this book had my stomach hovering somewhere near my shoes, I do not think I took a breath until the last page of Chapter 1. Holy cow! Do not read this book if you cannot stand being on the edge of your comfy reading chair. I am pretty sure I aged a bit from the first page until the last. This book proved that no one is safe, crappy things happen to good people, life is not fair, and through it all- love isn't everything, it is the only thing.
After Tainted Bodies and Tainted Pictures, we were all hanging on the cliff because something bad had happened. Well, the wait is over. Something very bad has happened. And no, I am not telling what that is. But those left behind have to come together and find the Photographer. Fast. The twists and turns this roller coaster travels on threw me for a loop many times over. Kate needed justice. I hoped she feels she got it. We get to see new sides of Liz, Annie, Derrick, and the photographer. Some things you may have wondered like why Kate are answered. And I am very happy with how the ending played out, to a point. The author had done a remarkable job of having this series play out like it could in real life, not just going and giving us a perfect happily ever after. It is a brilliant read. For those who have toiled along side me waiting for this book, your wait is over, and it was soooo worth the wait. And to Sarah Robinson, bravo baby, you blew it out of the park! If you haven't read the trilogy, all I can say is why not? Go grab them all! And buckle up, it is going to be a bumpy ride!

Untainted is the conclusion to The Photographer Trilogy and picks up right where Tainted Pictures left off.

I have been waiting to get my hands on this one ever since the epic cliffy that Sarah Robinson left us with in Tainted Pictures. The wait was definitely worth it, as Untainted followed in the footsteps of the first 2 books of the trilogy and left me breathless.

This final installment wraps up all of the unanswered questions that you have had since the first book. It also takes you on a wild emotional ride. From the very start when we find out who The Photographer left dead in the apartment, to the kidnapping and everything that happens straight through to the end of the book. Be prepared for action, drama, twists and turns, heart break, romance and incredibly sweet moments that will just reach in and squeeze your heart.

The emotional journey these characters have been on, has at times been difficult to witness - yet their strength even when they have broken down, to overcome all of the adversity is awe inspiring. Knowing that it is in part based on true experiences just makes it that much more so. In Untainted, all of the characters continue to grow both personally and within the various relationships they have formed. In turn it has caused me to become that much more attached to each and every one of them. Making some of the book that much harder to read, and other parts that much more beautiful. (Vague, I know! But, really do you want me to give something away?!)

I definitely recommend this series. It is one that will not leave you anytime soon.

I received a complimentary copy of Untainted from the author in exchange for my honest review.

My Rating:

4.5 Stars

Favorite Quotes:

"How is it that you always manage to see the silver lining in everything, Derrick? I’m bleeding from the head here.”

“That was her absolute favorite thing, feeling him smiling when they kissed. It was more than just lust or desire, and it was more than love. It was happily in love, head over heels in love. It was fairy tale love, and ever since they met, Derrick had been slowly transforming into her perfect Prince Charming.”

My Review:

I read 761 pages to write this review, and I would do it again. In addition to the intriguing yet heartbreaking story, I saw and enjoyed a steady progression of an improved writing style as I made my way through the four stories. It was very interesting to watch Ms. Robinson’s prose grow in quality and confidence from book one to the Epilogue after book 3. My jaded heart felt a clench numerous times, and I will also admit to the sting of tears during several devastating and moving moments, particularly those involving her memories her childhood, and moments with his younger sister while they talked about being birds and flying away. I think I will always remember that scene when I see a flock flying overhead. I could intuit from some of the insights provided that this story was written by someone who knows personal pain. I also noticed one of the best and most practical depictions of a dissociative state I have ever read or heard. This was my first Sarah Robinson experience, and since I found myself to have been moved by her talented words, I plan to peruse her listings and add more of her works to my TBR.

This is the best of the 3 books in this trilogy. It is a great ending to the series. It picks up right where book 2 ends, not skipping a beat. At the end of the 2nd book, Tainted Pictures, we were left wondering where Kate was taken, or if it was her that was dead in her apartment. We find out in this book, who it is.

Kate has been kidnapped by the Photographer, a demented serial rapist/murderer. I had an idea of who the Photographer was, I was right, but I had no clue about the reasons why he was doing it. Until Annie figured it out.

The first half of the book, is Kate going through everything that the Photographer is doing to her. His past and reasons all come out when he tells her. And he tells her why she is where he has taken her. He thinks everything will come to be a full circle for him. This guy is seriously crazy. Well, Crazy is too nice of a word to describe him.

To me, Derrick, has been completely redeemed for how he acted when Kate was first raped and he left her in the hospital. You can see the changes that both Kate and Derrick have made. They are both different people. Kate has become such a strong woman now.

There are a few deaths in this book, I'm not going to say who dies, you'll need to read it to find out. I had problems putting this book down while I was reading it. The only time I did put it down was to take care of my sick daughter.

"Fly away, baby girl. Be Happy. I'll see you again one day."

In the end, Kate won. What happened to her would have broken most people. But it made her stronger and a better person.

Untainted by Sarah Robinson is a superb ending to The Photographer Trilogy. It is a gripping, emotional roller coaster of a story that you won't be able to put down. Untainted picks up right where the cliffhanger of Tainted Pictures left off. Sarah Robinson keeps you in suspense as to what happened till the end of the first chapter. I've never been so worried in a first chapter of a book, ever. Even then that feeling doesn't leave you as you read the story. What unfolds is one of the most suspenseful stories I've read. There are so many things that you find out along the way, but I'm not going to spoil it for you. You'll have you own "What?" moments as you read Untainted.

Sarah Robinson did an amazing job with this series as a whole, but Untainted took it to a whole new level. I am still processing this book. I wanted to see what happened next and when I did I was thrown for a loop. Untainted will put you thorough the ringer. It is fantastically written and you are easily transported in to the pages as you wonder what the next page or paragraph brings. I mentioned earlier that it's an emotional roller coaster and it truly is. I can't stress enough how great this book was. It is a story that I am not going to forget anytime soon. If you've read the first two books in the Photographer series, you are in for one brilliant conclusion. If you have yet to read this series, pick up a copy. I'm telling you it is one of the best I've read. Well done Sarah Robinson, you've written a story that is a must read.

Great book & end to the trilogy!!! I have to say that this is my fav of the 3 books! It's so full of action! I was totally shocked with the turn of events!

Untainted picks up where book #2, Tainted Pictures ended! Kate is missing & someone is dead! My heart was racing & beating out of my chest during the whole book! Annie & Derrick go on their own search as does the professionals! It's literally a race against time! How far will the perpetrator go?

Derrick is amazing in this book! In the past, he kind of got under my skin but he was the best man anyone could ask for! He was brave, strong, sweet, caring & fought tooth & nail for Kate & Annie!

I can't love a character more than Annie! She's soooo strong, loving &
honorable! The perfect sister & hero! That whole turn of events(I don't want to say too much) just about gutted me! I wanted to shoot the Photographer in the face numerous times!!

As it's wrapped up, things happen that change everything! Very! Bad! Things! Realizations have to be made & decisions become a necessity! I did shed a few tears but the end result left me hopeful & proud! Great end to the series!!

We have been holding our breaths waiting to find out the identity of the person who dies at the hand of The Photographer at the end of book 2. It is devastating that such a kind and innocent human being has paid the highest price of all at the hands of this serial killer. At least now, we know who the killer is. The police just has to build a case with evidence to substantiate what everyone now knows.

In the meantime, Kate is missing and believed abducted by The Photographer. Derrick and Annie are frantically looking for her. Patience is not a word either one is willing to use. They are willing to put their own lives on the line just to be able to find Kate before anything else happens to her.

The conclusion of this trilogy is a roller coaster of emotions. It is fast moving and fraught with perils. Lives are at stake and The Photographer could not care less who else dies along the way. He must finish what he started years before and he will not be deterred.

I sat at the edge of my seat pouring through these pages. This has been a trilogy to remember as one of the most exciting and at the same time heart wrenching stories I have read in a while. Prepare yourselves!

WOW!! WORTH THE WAIT!!!! Well I have to say Book 3 is well worth the wait. Sarah you did a great job with Untainted. It was so worth waiting for. To find out what happens with Kate and to see if they get her rapist aka the Photographer. Book 3 picks up right where book 2 finishes. Annie and Derrick are on the search for Annie when they found out that she was kidnapped. Did they find her? Was she alive? Where did she find her? What happened to the Photographer? So many questions right well first I recommend if you haven't read book 1 and 2 you NEED TO READ THOSE FIRST. This is NOT A STAND ALONE AND YOU WILL NOT KNOW WHAT THIS STORY is ALL ABOUT WITHOUT READING THE FIRST TWO BOOKS. I will NOT put any spoilers hence why I had asked all those questions. Now for those of you who have read book 1 and 2 will really be asking these questions before you read book 3. I do recommend this series but is isn't for the weak. It does touch on some topics that I have a hard time dealing with. Sarah handles it in a way that those that are victims might be able to read it and may help them.

WOW!! My head is still reeling from this book.

It's the conclusion of the series and you will find out who the Photographer is.
If you loved the first two books you will not be disappointed with the ending
of this story. But be warned it gets very deep and you will feel it. Subject
matter can be hard for some so please know that ahead of time.

The highs were great the LOWS were so very low. To the point I was literally
yelling at my kindle "NO NO NO..that can't happen." But it did. People die,
people get hurt, people live......people overcome.

Also, I just loved the Epilogue. Not wanting to spoil it but I just loved it. Perfect
way to end this book.

I gotta say that Sarah Robinson nailed this book. But what really got me is
what the author put out there for everyone to read. Some of this is a true
story...her story. After the epilogue she goes into a little detail of what she herself
has had the strength to overcome. So for that, for her being able to put that out
there for everyone to read, you get my upmost respect. Well done.

This book had me from the beginning. I read it in the 3 book box set, so my review will be on all three. The events that take place in Kate's life are heart wrenching. She goes through so much, more than any one person should ever have to bare. Unfortunately I can relate to a lot in this book. It is a very well written story of a very strong young women. She had to face adversity, loss, molestation and murder. Becoming friends with a female cop is really her only female friend besides her sister who she has protected since she was only 6 years old. She does find love but struggles with the man to make him see she is not like the woman who hurt him. Through every thing Kate finds it in herself to still protect and give to others. This story had me in tears a few times. I don't think any one could read this and not shed a tear. There is a HEA but it is a long road with many a heartbreak a long the way. I recommend this read to any one who loves murder, mystery, drama and sweet love stories. It's all in here.

This is the third and finale book of The Photography Trilogy. When Tainted Pictures ended we were left with one hell of a cliffhanger. So the wait killed me. I feel like I needed to know the answers to all of my questions!
When the long awaited day finally arrived I couldn't put the book down. All of my questions were slowly getting answered, and everything was falling into place.
Untainted was written to really draw you into the story line. You felt like you were on the journey with the characters.
While everything was finally answered and the entire puzzle was together I am sad that the trilogy is now over. I really enjoyed reading the overall trilogy.

**Remember this is book three of a trilogy. If you haven't read the first two books they are a must read. While I know some people prefer single books, this trilogy is should read. And once you get addicted you won't even realize you just read three books!

~~I received this in exchange for an honest review~~

OK, this is the final book in the series, and it is wrapped up nicely. The emotion in this book is raw. Your heart will hurt for several different reasons. You will go through all the emotions that you know of. But at the end, You will be left feeling complete. A little sad, but nonetheless complete.

Sarah, has written a fantastic book. She has taken a subject that is all to often heard of in shows like Criminal Minds, and made it her own. This was completely different than watching Criminal Minds (which I love). This book gives you who is stalking Kate, but it isn't who you think it is. I was completely shocked at what I read. I never saw it coming. Despite what happens in the book. You will feel as though you are there with them. Watching everything unfold.

I have found a new author to read. She has a new fan!!

The crime seen was a bloodbath.
In order for them to solve this case, Annie and Kate need to relieve past traumatic events.
With a missing person and a death, Annie and Derrick are stepping up their game.
They start their own investigation.
Stumbling upon clues, Annie has a few revelations triggering an important key to finding Kate.
Detective's are one step behind the duo.
Revenge.
Out for blood and boy what a gut-wrenching bloodbath it is.
Losing the remainder of your family for some sick past revenge that was blamed on you in the first place. Blame being defiantly misplaced and poor Kate now suffers those sick basterds cosquenses.
The reminiscing moment in the hospital was the most beautiful, creative thoughtfulness ever! Brought tears to my eyes and a crazy warm feeling in my heart.
*A priceless moment.*
I was graciously gifted a copy for a review.
