Lighthouse Beacon

Small backstory:

A woman has decided that she wants to take the easy way out as there is nothing left to live for but she finds something she doesn't expect when she comes upon an old lighthouse while she is out at sea.

That is about all I can hand out with a small backstory as this story is super short so if you are intrigued then go read this book!

Thoughts:

This was a different type of ghost story and there was a little bit of emotion with it as well as you think about how the woman feels when she sees a beacon of light in the distance. The pace is fast as I read the book within 10 minutes. Another great short story and book by this author. Giving this book five "Ghostly Beacon" stars!

Having enjoyed every one of author David Kempf’s spooky horror stories, it's wonderful that he has ventured into to one of my favorite genres, the classic ghost story. In Lightkeeper, Kempf doesn't just spin a tale. He evokes layers of metaphysical meaning and millennia of history.

The rich imagery of Lightkeeper keeps the action moving briskly forward, while also tapping into oceans of deep and tumultuous meaning. The plot is so compelling that I hope Kempf turns into a full-length novel or a series. I would binge read that!
