Darkest Desires #3

Come to Head

Rate this book
He promised her ten years.
But now her time is up.

All Izzy wanted to do was escape her forays with vanilla men and delve into her darkest desires.
Instead, she is thrown back into a life she was supposed to have no part in.
Confronted with her past, she’s forced to remember.

A promise is a promise.
A pact is a pact.

And ten years later?
He’s here to collect.

Except…Oliver and Maddox won’t let her go without a fight.

This is a dark MFMM why choose romance novella. This means Izzy will not choose between her men. Please check the TWs.

This is book 2 of the Darkest Desires Duet and will wrap up Izzy's story. This does NOT end on a cliffhanger.

Well that was a twist!!! And must read book 1 or will be completely lost for this one, but wow it refreshes where it hits all the main points. It could have went south but so glad it turned into all these different personality men wanting Isa (team Emilio so Bella Isa). And loved that this FMC who was beat down because of her appearance got her strength back! Loved! It was dark, and the surprises on this one just popped up but made so much sense. Loved it!

I LOVE a second chance love! Reverse harem??? Ok, I'm here for it all! I enjoyed the ride with Izzy and her men. She doesn't have to choose, bc they all chose her. The level of obsession made me crave harder. I wasn't able to stop reading.

Continuing on from the first book, she learns who Milo is well, they all do lol

His love has lasted 10 years and we find out just how much he has been in her life without her knowledge, this ends when he reminds her of their pact and tells her everything. He also allows her to keep Oliver and Maddox 🤭 Though they all still face some danger.

It’s is a fast paced read, with a lot happening but we do get our answers. It’s a great ending to the duet.

Book 2 to Izzy’s story, and reading book 1 is essential to follow the storyline!

Well written as usual, and some of the gaps from book 1 are answered which I’m glad about! No cliffhanger, which was good – I enjoyed this as much as the first, not my fav of this authors but still worth a read!

Thank you so much to the author for the arc of this book, all opinions are my own. 3.5 stars.

This story was a bit convoluted and confusing with the 3 different men all calling the main character a different name. There was a lot of ground covered in this book for how short it was. I do feel like this could have been longer due to content. I did enjoy the general storyline and the continuation of the relationship with all 3 men.

First review of 2025, and it's a good one!
I love not going back to read a book before the next one comes out. I remember what happened before, but it's not up close in my mind so I get to have reactions like Channing Tatum did in 21 Jump Street when he found out about Jonah Hill and the Captain's daughter. This book had me doing that, and I absolutely loved it. This is book two, in the Darkest Desires series, but book 3 if you include Yara's story, which you absolutely must to get the "Oh shit" moment that I had. This was such a violent and fun way to end Izzy's story. You get all the questions you had from the previous books wrapped up in a neat bow with some blood stains on it. The addition of Emilio was so chaotic in such a perfect way because he didn't care as long as he got what he wanted, which was Izzy. Oliver and Maddox also just wanted Izzy, and they came together the only way they knew how to keep her safe and have her in their lives.
This is a novella, so a lot happens in a short amount of time. With that being said, the spicy scenes were so good that I mean, obviously, I wouldn't say no to longer scenes, but these were done so well that you didn't need more. They were the perfect little moments amongst the chaos that was going on around everyone but not in a way that was annoying, if that makes sense? It's didn't take away from the drama. This, of course, is right up my alley with the dorma/somno scenes, and i loved that the somno scenes also included one of the guys. I've never seen that in a why choose, and I think it needs to be added to all of them because why not? Plus, it had a comedic element.
Thank you to Sage Relleanne for allowing me to ARC read!

This was first series for this author and as much as I got a little confused at first with all the people and the POV’s or the fact that Isobel was Isobel, Ellie, Isa, Bella Isa depending on what man was talking to or about her.

It is totally fine when it is Izzy as per POV is in the first person but it’s a little confusing at first when you expect first person from the men but get third person ones. It only took a few chapters in book 1 for me to get it sorted in my head.

I loved Maddox and if for any reason Izzy needed to choose I was rooting for him. I liked Oliver and Emilio grew on me but there was just something extra in Maddox and Ellie relationship that I liked most. I liked her reaction when she finds out where the Ellie came from.

I was glad when we got to the bottom of Emilio involvement with it all as at first I couldn’t get my head around it. I was also really glad that he didn’t hold what happened to his sister against Oliver. I knew after book one there had to be a story to what happened to Oliver’s dad but to be honest I wasn’t expecting that outcome.

I pretty sure this won’t be my last books from this author. I need to read Yara’s story if nothing else.

⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Rush Job with Unfulfilled Potential

Come to Head, the second installment in Izzy’s Darkest Desires duet, follows on from Come to Bed but unfortunately feels even more hurried and undercooked. The fast pace may keep things moving, but that doesn’t excuse how much of the story feels crammed—plot resolutions, emotional beats, and character arcs all scramble towards a rushed finish.

While the “why‑choose” dynamic—a dark M‑F‑M‑M setup where Izzy doesn’t have to choose between her men—is in full effect, I felt the urgency worked against the series, stripping away the depth and connection I was hoping for. There’s a lot going on—Izzy's past, a decade-old promise, devoted men vying for her—but none of it is given space to breathe.

As someone who appreciated the premise in book one, this follow-up simply didn’t deliver. The characters deserved more development, the tangled relationships needed time to unfold, and the intense, dark energy required a longer canvas—not a novella squeezed into 160 pages.

If Come to Bed was an appetizer, Come to Head feels like someone slammed it down before the main course was ready.

Summary:

Premise: Intriguing, but not explored fully

Pacing: Too rapid—everything feels forced

Character & Relationship Development: Barely there

Overall: A passing read (...I guess), but a letdown for fans seeking depth in their “dark why‑choose” romance

Oh, how I needed the ending to Izzy's story! All the twists and turns were so worth it! The TWISTS kept getting better! This book was a bit darker compared to the first. It starts with a flash back from 10 years ago with both Izzy and Emilio. Emilio, dear lord, he had to grow up faster than expected after the death of his father and older sister. And Izzy, my gosh... Emilio saved her back then, and they became inseparable for that summer. They ended up making a marriage pact that in 10 years, they'd marry if she didn't have anyone. Emilio kept that promise! Boyyyy did Oliver lose is ever lovin mind when he found out 😆. Maddox is truly the level headed in this bunch he didn't freak out like Oliver. Guys, this was just so good. I wish I could say more, but I'll spoil everything! Just know.. Izzy is an absolute bad@ss!!

4.5⭐️ for this one. More on why in a minute. Come to Head takes place right after Come to Bed. This is the ending to Izzy’s story. Yara (her best friend) and Izzy can never have a dull moment and in this book it follows suit. The girls find trouble and some adversity along the way. This book follows Izzy mostly and her men but the stories connect in Sage’s other books in the Darkest Desires series. A lot of secrets and twists along with some mushy party and of course a sprinkle of spice. Which is what leads me to my rating. There is a certain scene that was waiting for through the entirety of this read and I got slapped with it but it was so short I need more. 😬😏🤤

I can’t wait to read the next installment in the series to find out more about Yara. These books are dark but I wouldn’t say pitch black. Check the trigger/content warnings because your mental health matters.

This is part two of Izzy's duet, the first book was Come to Bed. This book contains spoilers for Yara's book as well (Come Inside).

We pick up right where things left off - in the middle of chaos and blood. Izzy and her men are reeling from the events of Come to Bed, and several secrets and identities are finally revealed. I can't say more without giving away spoilers! Emilio was my favorite in this story, though.

I recommend this if you love why choose where the men bicker (good naturedly), take care of their woman, and the bad guys get their punishment.

This is a dark why choose romance with a riveting plot and steamy scenes. This story focuses on the relationship between Izzy and there three guys Emilio, Oliver and Maddox. It is best to read Come To Bed first. This is the second book about their story and they finally get their happy ending together. I really enjoyed their story and love how possessive and protective her men are of her. The story is suspenseful and entertaining as well as spicy!

My very first line of the review for Come to Bed says that it can be really hard to have an actual plot as well as spice in shorter length books, but that Sage did a great job of intertwining the both for that book. I can 100% confirm that she manages to do the same thing in this book, the second part of the Darkest Desires duet. Come to Head leaves nothing to the imagination, and does not end on a cliffhanger. You will get all of your answers, as well as all of your wildest fantasies fulfilled with Izzy and all of her men.

Once again, I repeat, here's to morally grey and possessive men, am I right?!?!

There was no hesitation for me that this book was a solid four star read. I was not overwhelmed in any way like I felt during my first read of Come to Bed, which if you'll see in my review of that book I did end up doing a re-read before reading this one and everything became much more clear. The ONLY reason I couldn't give this a 5 star is because I do feel like we missed out on a lot of back story for Maddox. We got a lot for Izzy, Oliver, and Emilio. We got bits and pieces of Maddox.. but I feel like we could have gotten more to create some balance, especially since he seems like the balance in their dynamic. I also do wish we had some more insight to their growth before their ending, but at least they had an ending together.

Overall, this duet is very enjoyable and if you have both books, they can easily be devoured in one sitting due to their length!

While I loved the first book. This one was good and I love the series! However to me It felt a bit rushed. Like it needed to be full length. There was soooo much going on I feel we missed out on some details. We also had missed opportunities for spicy moments. I NEED more Emilio, Maddox and Oliver. I can't wait to find out what happened with Yara. All that being said I do recommend this series. Sage writes books that hit you in your feels with characters who are relatable and have you cheering for them.

I love the characters and the healing of the characters. This was such a fun read and I love how Izzy has gained so much power and confidence throughout those story. I love how Emilio, Maddox and Oliver all offer Izzy different things. I would definitely read more about these characters and their adventures. This was a great ending and I loved the epilogue showing different points of view and what it would be like for them. Sage wrote this book so well and made it easy to read, I can’t stop imagining what adventure and mishaps these characters could get into. I loved the storyline, and character and just all of it.

Well, here we are, we finally have the sequel to Come to Bed. And yes, you HAVE to read that one before you move to Come to Head. If you don't, this isn't going to make any sense to you what so ever. Thankfully, this one starts right after Come to Bed. It's the ending to Izzy's story. Of course, we knew that this was always going to be the case.

It really is no surprise or wonder at this point that Izzy or Yara can not have a moments peace, and this book just keeps that trend going. All along the way, our two FMCs find trouble, adversity, and danger along the way.

Now, there is some drama in this one, so it is a bit of fun.

Emilio demanded a marriage pact be kept 10 years to the day it made me want to swoon. He was smitten already when the pact was made he just let Izzy keep her freedom for 10 years before he married her. Honestly, every time he speaks, I could just fall in love with him more and more.

Oliver's backstory was so important for us to understand who he is and what he's been through. It lets us understand who he is as a person.

And then we have Maddox. He was ride or die for Izzy from the get-go.

No matter what you say, you can't tell me that they were not perfect for Izzy, and I just loved all four of them together.

YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!! Know your triggers. Read the trigger warnings before reading this book and read at your own discretion.

This book follows Izzy and her men. But, at the same time, it connects to the events that happened in Come to Bed, and it also sets up events to come in the next book. We learn about a lot of secrets and twists and turns, and of course, there are mushy parts. And we can't leave out the spice. And let me tell you there is some good spice.

I am looking forward to the next book in this series, just as much as I was looking forward to this book, if not more now, that I have read this one if I am being honest. I look forward to learning more about Yara. After the last 2 books, I feel like I really haven't learned a lot about her yet. And yes, the books are dark, but they are not black, I would say they are more grey.

This book includes but is not limited to, why choose, dark romance, SA (not by MMCs), marriage pact, creative ring choice, found family, somno.

You do have a few epilogues to get through to round out the end of this book, but I think they are needed to finish off Izzy's story.

My favorite quotes are:

"I may be the villain in some stories, but in yours?
I will be your hero."

"They were re- writing my brain chemistry in a way that most certainly wasn’t healthy, but I fucking needed it. I wanted it. I wanted their attention. The good, the bad, the stalkerish."

This book had me on the edge of my seat with its perfect blend of spice, suspense, and emotional twists. Sage RelleAnne has outdone herself with Come to Head, delivering a thrilling, dark, and passion-fueled ride that had me hooked from page one.
Izzy’s journey is intense, filled with heartbreak, longing, and dangerous secrets that kept me turning the pages late into the night. Reunited with Emilio after ten years, she finds herself torn between him and the two men who have refused to let her go—Oliver and Maddox. These three possessive, unhinged, and utterly devoted men would do anything for Izzy, and the tension between them is nothing short of explosive. Their dynamic is full of angst, passion, and protective obsession, making for one unforgettable why choose romance. And let’s be honest—Emilio totally stole my heart!
Beyond the romance, this book brings in jaw-dropping revelations, heart-wrenching backstory, and an adrenaline-pumping climax. Izzy’s past is riddled with darkness, and when long-buried secrets come to light, the stakes skyrocket. Her mother and stepfather? Absolutely terrible. The twist involving her father? I gasped. Seriously, no spoilers, but wow!
RelleAnne knows how to write a spicy scene, and with three men vying for Izzy’s attention, the heat is off the charts. But what I loved most was the depth of the characters and their relationships. The banter, the jealousy, the undeniable chemistry—it all felt so raw and real. And Izzy? She’s relatable, sassy, strong, and still working through her insecurities, making her journey even more powerful.
While you can read this as a standalone, I highly recommend starting with Come to Bed to fully understand Izzy’s story. Also, for the full Darkest Desires experience, Come Inside (Yara’s story) ties in beautifully.
If you love dark romance with a mix of humor, suspense, and fiery passion, this series is a must-read! Just be sure to check trigger warnings—this one gets intense.
Izzy finally gets her HEA, and it was absolutely worth the ride! 💖🔥

Reverse Harem ✔️
Why Choose ✔️
Twist and Turns ✔️
2nd chances ✔️
Obsessed, overprotective, sexy men ✔️
All the Spice ✔️✔️✔️

I recommend you read book 1, Come To Bed, before reading book 2. Izzy wants to get away from her vanilla relationships, and let me tell you, she gets to give into her dark desires.

After falling in love at a young age with Emilio and having to leave him behind, Izzy is reunited with him. He came back to collect on their 10 year pack. However, Oliver and Maddox won’t let her go. She loves all 3 men, and they will not let anything happen to her. All three are unhinged, protective, sexy and desire Izzy to the point of obsession. Let's just say they made sure she wouldn't have successful relationships. They needed to learn how to put aside their feelings of each other and learn how to get along for Izzy. Maddox was definitely the one who kept the peace. I was rooting for all of them, Oliver, Maddox, and Emilio, but Emilio was definitely my favorite.

Izzy's past comes knocking at the door, and she is faced with danger and secrets that are revealed. Without giving anything away because no spoilers here, the twist will have you gasping. Her mother and stepfather are horrible people, and my heart went out to Izzy when she found out that her mother was keeping secrets of her father.

Keep in mind there are spoilers of Yara's story. Sage RelleAnne, the epilougue was a good ending. Finally, Izzy gets her HEA!!!

This read had my emotions everywhere, and I couldn't put it down. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and Sage can write on heck of a spicy scene, and with 3 obsessed men, the spice was 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶.

Omg what an emotional rollercoaster that just sucks you right in and does not let go . Have you ever come across a book or a series that just hooked you in a way no other has for a very long time ? That you found yourself not only falling completely in love with from the very first page but had the ability to make you feel so many different emotions you never saw coming? Everything from.being utterly speechless, to screaming outta pure frustration, to smiling and laughing to sobbing and cheering so freaking hard the whole way through ? Kinda like being on the craziest ride at the amusement park !!! you know that feeling you get in your stomach from being excited and nervous at the same time - the anticipation of whats to come next ? Well Sage Relle Anne’s Darkest Desires Series has done all of the above in spades ♠️ I have to say after reading and falling completely in love with the first book Come To Bed which is the start of Izzy and her Guys story , I honestly thought to myself nothing can possibly outdo this . That. Being said ( come to head just might be even better then book one . The secrets , the revelations, the twists and turns , the mystery and surprises, the heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, the love , the passion , the tragedy, the family and friendships, the dark why choose trope which happens to be one of my all time faves . The complexity of the characters and their relationships. Sage Relle Anne has delivered quite the emotional rollercoaster, that will keep you up reading well into the early morning hours and leave you wanting so much more .

What in the Jerry Springer fever dream?!
When I tell you, my head was spinning at the DRAMA in this!
This was a barrage of information, and I still have so many questions! It all started at a comedy club?! Come Alive (part two of Yara's story) can not get here fast enough.
Emilio may be HBIC, but that man is SMITTEN.
A 10 year marriage pact that he enforced shortly after midnight 10 years to the exact day? Literally counting the minutes. Swoon 🥰 I think I fell more in love with Emilio every time he spoke 🫠
I loved everything about this story!
The backstory we gain on Oliver is so crucial to who he is as a person.
Honorable mention to my main man Maddox who was very ride or die for Izzy from the get go. 🥰
The multiple epilogues conclude Izzy's story.

"I may be the villain in some stories, but in yours?
I will be your hero."

"Emilio’s confidence— it built up my own.
Maddox’s calm— it soothed my soul.
Oliver’s control— it kept me in check."

"They were re- writing my brain chemistry in a way that most certainly wasn’t healthy, but I fucking needed it. I wanted it. I wanted their attention. The good, the bad, the stalkerish."

"I may be the villian in some stories, but in yours? I will be your hero."

Ten years ago, Izzy and Emilio spent a summer falling in love. He let her go to protect her from the danger of his world, but they promised that if they were both single in 10 years they would get married. Now, it's been ten years and Emilio is back to claim her, but Oliver and Maddox aren't going to give her up without a fight. Now they have to navigate their new relationship while also dealing with the dangers that Emilio originally wanted to protect Izzy from.

I really enjoyed this story and I was so glad to see Izzy's different relationships with each of her men. This was book 2 of Izzy's story, but I would recommend reading book 1 of Yara's story prior to this book just for some context. There was a lot of chaos and tension to conclude Izzy's story. All the twists and turns were broken up with some beautiful relationship moments. The backstories for Emilio, Izzy, and Oliver was so important to understand their points of view. There were also some unexpected twists that I was so excited about.

This is a dark romance that I think would be enjoyed by lots of readers, but definitely check your triggers first. I loved the somno and why choose, but I know that isn't for everyone.

First of all, thank you so much for the ARC in exchange for my honest review as always. Indeed, up to this point, I might be a bit biased since Sage RelleAnne has been one of my favorite author and instant read because I do love all of her books and her writing.

That includes this The Darkest Desires series as well. Now this book is the second installment for Izzy’s story, which yes it’s better if you read her first book before reading this so that you’ll see & understand better throughout the story. This book is a fast pace imo, if I’m not that busy I’m sure I can finish it all in one seating since the plot growth is gripping my attention from start to finish! I can’t put it down except when I have to due to works etc but the moment I got my free time, I didn’t waste any second but glued to this book indeed.

A lot have been concluded and answered in this book from previous, and I’m glad that Izzy got her HEA! Now I’m looking forward to read her bestie Yara’s second book to conclude everything as well. Overall, love this book and such an entertaining with touching parts as well kind of read! ❤️

This is the second book of Izzys story, must read book one (come to bed) otherwise will have no idea what's going on!! And it's helpful to read the authors other books in the darkest desires series to know what is going on and I cant wait for part two of Yara's story.
There are many tropes within this story including;
- why choose
-marriage pact/ forced marriage
- somno
Etc

This book follows Izzys life after she gave in to her darkest desires (her friend Yara owns a company where people can live out their darkest desires and there was one man willing to wait for her, and because of this man her past comes back to haunt her) when she goes through a trauma and falls into one mans arms, and it's said a promise is a promise and a pact is a pact, and that pact is enforced as soon as the 10 year wait was over, so what will happen to the two other men in her life?

I love the way they all worship her when she is so hard on her own appearance, and because of this she regains her own power within herself.

THE TWISTS AND TURNS OMG!!!
I wish this book was longer, I need more of them!!
This series is definitely worth the read!! I reccomend 🖤

Izzy finally got her HEA. I would recommend reading the first in this series, Come to bed or you will be lost. I even suggest reading Come inside (Yara’s story) before this one as they all tie together.

I love Izzy, for me she is totally relatable in her bratty, funny, sassy personality and curvy body. I appreciate her body image is an insecurity displayed through out her story and how she is combating it, of course with the help of her men. They all love, protect & help her in each of their own ways, it is so perfect when put together. The relationship also has me laughing at parts and awing at others. Her men are all fighting for her attention, along with each other, but also know who is just right for the current moment in time. (Team Maddox)

Izzy finds herself in some trouble with her past coming back and new details come to light. What a turn of events!

I highly recommend this series. Please remember this is a dark romance story, with a little bit of humor & spice sprinkled in, and to please check your triggers as always your mental health matters!!!

" Come to Head" is a captivating conclusion to Izzy's story that will leave you breathless. This installment in the Darkest Desires series masterfully blends dark romance with moments of levity and genuine heart. Izzy's relatable insecurities and her journey towards self-acceptance make her an incredibly compelling protagonist. The unique dynamic she shares with her men adds another layer of intrigue, as each of them contributes a distinct energy to their unconventional relationship.

The narrative takes an unexpected turn as secrets from Izzy's past come to light, throwing her world into chaos. The suspense builds with each chapter, leaving you eager to uncover the truth and see how Izzy and her devoted protectors will navigate the challenges ahead.
Sage's writing is both evocative and engaging, drawing you deep into the story's world. The "yandere" aspects of the male characters add a thrilling edge to the romance, creating a delicious tension that keeps the pages turning.

"Come to Head" is a must-read for fans of dark romance who appreciate strong female leads and complex relationship dynamics. It's a story about overcoming adversity, embracing your true self, and finding love in the most unexpected places.

Omg I love the angst, the suspense was absolutely breathtaking and brought me to the edge of my seat.

Sage is by far my favorite author this year, her characterization is so good. All these men are hot, obsessed, and so utterly unhinged. Basically yandere style. I honestly ate up this book so fast. 🥵

We finally get all the truths out to who these men are and every nitty gritty detail on their connections. I honestly could read several books on these characters. Emilio is definitely the most unhinged yandere as he’s open about his darkness and doesn’t care about anyone’s opinions as long as he has his Isa in his grasp. Oliver likes to play the sweet puppy but he’s just as dark and delicious. Maddox is silent and very deadly, more of a team player in order to seduce his “Ellie.”

God I loved this. I’m definitely ordering a physical copy cause this is utterly dark and tantalizing.

ARC Review: Come to Head by Sage RelleAnne
Rating 4⭐️ and spice 2🌶️

As always chefs kiss for this little book Sage. Book 1 has me with the wall pov but then it made so much more sense and the plot twists are twisting. It’s crazy how this story went and yet I want more. Love it

I may not be everyone’s type of beauty. But I can at least be my own.

Izzy- she is a bigger girl who is attracted to her best friend and driver but she doesn’t want to cross lines. She owns a company but her best friend is the face of it because he’s hot. Things all change in one quick reunion weekend, their Isa, Isobela, Ellie

MADDOX (driver), OLIVER (best friend), Emilio (shhh)-
These men will do anything for her but why hasn’t she noticed yet. They have to make her notice and she will never escape them. Them learning to share will be interesting

He had discerned to give her a choice.
Had promised himself to let HIS BUTTERFLY KEEP HER WINGS. But what if she was offering them to him? What if she ripped them off and thrust them into his hands?

You have to read book 1(come to bed) in order for this to make any sense. I'm so glad I read these back to back. This is definitely a dark romance. I loved the surprises they threw me for a loop, but it all made sense. I loved the fact that the men didn't mind sharing Izzy. I love that they all had their own pet names for Izzy. I thought that was so cute. The spice was so good. I definitely can't complain about that. I love that sex doesn't tone down the drama that is going on in the book, but it does give you a little reprieve in-between. I couldn't put this down. This book answered all of the questions I had from book 1, but I still want more! I love novellas because there is never a dull moment and they usually keep my interest. This book gave me everything I look for in a book. Smut. Comedy. Drama. Dark elements. Surprises or twists. Questions answered. I just don't want it to be over!

I absolutely love this book. Izzy has overcame so much from a cheating boyfriend to two guys who she thought friend-zoned her (even though that was further from the truth) to someone from her past who she hasn’t seen in exactly a decade.

This book focuses on Oliver who is Izzy’s best friend who is obsessed with her and who does anything for her ( I MEAN ANYTHING FOR HER). Maddox who was her driver and friend who was also secretly in love with her as well but never let anyone else know. And Emilio who saved her back in high school from almost getting graped by an obsessed teacher.

When everything starts to fall apart and you start to learn about secrets from the past and how messed up your mother and stepfather is. Who will come save you in the end?

Please check your trigger warnings before reading this and read come to bed before reading this book as well as this is a continuation of Izzy’s story. It does have a happy ending.
