Free Me From You 3
Since part 1 of this series, we’ve been on an rollercoaster ride with all the characters. There have been so many things happening at once, that it’ll make you question is a happily ever after even possible? June and Free were introduced to us, and they both played their part in why the relationship had so many shortcomings. So many opportunities presented themselves for both of them to walk away, but through it all, they stayed, and they are finally in a place where they could possibly get it right.
Free already knows what it feels like to lose a sister, and she’s hoping that she doesn’t have to experience that hurt again with Dionne. Life has already been rough for her this past year, so losing Dionne is the last thing that she needs right now.
Come take one last ride with the crew, and let’s see what they’re up to one last time. So many things need closure, enemies need to disappear, and we have to see June and Free get it right, especially after all that they’ve been through.

Well this was a disappointing “end” to this series!
After everything that happened in the first two books and the intense build up, the resolutions were lack luster and too anticlimactic for my liking. I wanted more focus on the main characters but in this book we got a lot from side characters and the build up of their storylines for this spinoff that will eventually happen.
June and Free were sooo toxic and even though they eventually got it right, the flip of the switch from toxic lovers to peaceful lovers felt so sudden. I wanted more depth from them and their history.
Fan and Shay where an unnecessary storyline if we were only going to have them sprinkled throughout and I know Diamond said we will see more from them in the spinoff but we could’ve still had more from them and less from the other unnecessary POVs.
True’s storyline was good but the way it ended was a dud. Also the main chick that was helping Ricky… what happened to her?! I can’t see her going quietly. I also don’t feel like Dionne got true justice behind that bum and his wife.
As much as I enjoy the stories we’ve gotten from Diamond over the years, every series is a mirror image of the others. The only thing that changes are the names. We can almost always count on the same professions and exotic trips and drama from baby mama’s jealous ex’s etc. I’d love to see her tap into something new. Revamp the stories and give us characters we’ve never seen before. Everybody don’t need to be a lash/nail tech or tattoo artist or drug kingpin current or former with a store located in a shopping mall. There are literally thousands of professions that a quick google search can produce.
I am excited to see what Tank and Dionne have to say because they remind me of a Tana and Alecia but that further proves my point. Maybe I’ll read maybe not. Only my mood will decide when the time comes.

OMG Diamond D. Johnson does it again great writing
I loved Free and June love story Free me from you 3. Free and June went thru their fair share of drama and pain to get to their happy ending. June and Free are married and parents to their new edition Liberty Nivea Price. Free and June went thru the storm and the rain to get to this space they are in now. Pregnancy and marriage has changed the couple for the better. Free and her sister and Mom went the pain in almost losing another sister. Dionne is the older sister of Free and Tommie was shot in the chest on her birthday by her ex -married sponsor Garre wife. This was surely Dionne Knight wake-up call he never was going to leave his wife it wasn't even worth almost losing her life over she let him go. She survive and has a second chance to live her life darma free. Tru Knight is Free niece who got in a mess with a pimp. Being young and wanting to be grown before her time. And having to caught her first body and putting her Mom and Family thru rollar coaster ride for looking for love in the wrong place with a obsessive grown men. Tommie Knight wasn't the best mother when it came to her daughters and being a dead-end relationship with on again off again Gino who was abusive and cheating on her constantly. Just downright disrespectful and toxic relationships. Dashay is June and Insane baby sister they are very protective of her and their nieces. Dashay and Fanatic is in a full fledged relationship they went thru a hard time with June to be with his right hand man she went to war with her brother for the man she loved. Carmen and Insane made a cameo appearance married and their first readbaby boy Cody. I can't wait to read about Dionne Knight and Tank story I think she has met her match. Also Dashay and Fanatic story to keep up with the couples. Also Alecia and Montana made a cameo appearance and Pee-wee and Bria. Can't wait to read another spin-off series about Dionne Knight and Tank.

These characters have become family lol I can’t get enough. I see so many spin offs in the future. I’m just going to sum up all 3 books in this review:
June: Reckless AF! He started that was with Pooch by sending shots which was dumb AF!
Free: I’m not sure how I feel about her I did think she was nasty for having sex the day after an abortion when she was still open yuck….but that was the authors mindset.
Fanatic: too grown and mature to fool with June. I’m glad nothing happened to him being caught in June’s mess. I loved everything about him.
Daisha: Love this new love for her and want a spin off with her and Fanatic
Tommi: a lackluster mother but showed up when it matter. I want to read more about her.
Deion: deserved the bullet hands down! She was sleeping with a married man and got what she deserved. I don’t really care to read a spinning off involving her live life but I will of course because I’m a Diamond fan
Tru: just a simple young girl

Beautiful
Thank you for another amazing series. Glad that June and free were able to work through their issues and get married and have their beautiful daughter. Also happy that Tommie was able to get it right for her daughter and start taking responsibility for her. It wasn’t right that she left that baby in the house by herself to go lay up with a man that wasn’t even worth it, so I’m glad that they mended their relationship as mother and daughter. Now Dionne can’t wait for her story because she needs a good hood nigga in her life and I think that Tank will be the one to turn her ass out as Free put it. Beautiful series, highly recommend

What a series. There are so many emotions to feel throughout the series.
But, wait... I must say Tru's dad was going to have me going to book jail 🙄😂🤣.
Oh my goodness.
This is how you know the book is good when people have real emotions behind book characters 😆.
What a journey... this series was really good.
It was filled with drama, violence, thug passion, June handling his business by himself 💯💪🏾🔥, street hits, drugs, robberies, young girls catching bodies...
I mean, like, whoa... you will definitely be entertained.

Loved the Freedom
Enjoyed the series and the finale. Freedom and June finally got it right!, they had some obstacle but they made it! I love Tommie, though I know that she wasn't the greatest mother, but she loved her girls, Tru was just crying out for attention! Now Dionne learned a valuable lesson, but I'm looking forward to seeing when Dionne and Tank relationship can go. Fan and Shay-shay they're good and I know they will be good to have a spin off as well. Those that need to be addressed or meet their demise came at the right time!

Good read BUT..
Diamond, I’ve been reading and enjoying your books for a few years now and I’ve enjoyed every book! Free and June’s story was great but for me, book 3 seemed to have a lot of unnecessary explanations of things that didn’t really matter. Almost like it was too much detail on things that weren’t important. Over all it was still a really good read. I loved their happily ever after and I’m excited to see how D and Tommie’s characters develop NEXT!

September 23, 2024 I love the series. I love how Free mature and was able to tame and show that she was not playing with June. June really matured and became more serious about Free once she became pregnant. I love how Tru starting maturing and realize the road she was going down was going to lead to trouble.
I love that all problems and situations was handled. Can't wait for Tank and Dionne's story. Hope that Tommie finds love too.

Great read from beginning to the end. Love the way you had Free and June growing up together because they both were childish. It would interesting to see what would happen with D and Tank . That would be a great story line. I really like that Tru got her head on straight and stopped looking for a father’s love. Tommie was simply hilarious I loved her character.

Hard love
I love this story and Free and June. It represents so much live, passion, understanding and patience, the very things you need when trying to have a successful relationship. I also love how True had to learn that love wasn’t about getting materialistic things and that Tommi her mom was 10 toes down with her every step of the way. Now I’m ready for Ms boogie Dion to step into her new life without her sugar daddy

This was a very good series. Tru almost gave me a heart attack with what she was doing with Ricky. Tommie was a hot mess. I like how she told Ricky to come through her doors cause she had bigger guns. Like how free and June got it together and loved fanatic and Shay together. I love me some June!!
The growth and development of both June and Free was amazing. This series took me up and through there and I am very happy how it ended. This series shows how a man can step up and “force” them out of their masculine energy and be comfortable and content in their feminine energy. Did have some grammatical errors here and there but it was definitely worth the read.

Free loves real hard so when things go down with the family, she grieves hard!
So proud that June matured beautifully, and took control of their future! You know he and Free was still coming with the drama and toxicity, but he handled it well lol 😂.

One thing Diamond is going to do is give you a good ass book. I loved everything about June and Free’s story. Especially when she incorporates characters from her previous books. I love how he took the time to settle down and show a different side of himself to Free. I can’t wait until she drops the spin off to Dionne and Tank’s.

The editing was not good. It was very bad. Things that a spell and grammar check could’ve caught. Or even a reread. Perhaps this was the wrong upload for this author. Usually her work does not have mistakes at this level. The story was wordy at times with a lot of unnecessary words. I like the author work and read her work regularly , but this book 3 was not for me.

This was such a good book I love it so damn much June and free was driving me crazy with the back and forth but I’m soo damn happy that they got it together and I can’t wait to get deeper into Fanatic & Shay love story and Dionne & Tank gave off so many fire works now my girl Tommie I need her to find her match too and I’m soo proud of Ms Tru for getting her life together

Finally, They Got It Right!!
I like Fanatic and Shay relationship, I admire how they didn't bring their kids around until they got serious with each other. He doesn't have a problem with Latoya but Michelle is going to be a problem because she doesn't want Shay around their daughter. I think Pooch wanted to die because why would he run into traffic like that? Why not square up? Tru was looking for that only her daddy could give. That's why she gravited towards who showed her love, affection and attention. Tommie was busy with Gino knowing she has a daughter that was begging for her attention and love. Dionne knew what could happen if Garrus's wife found out her. Getting shot she realizes it not worth it. She could buy all that of the materialistic things herself. Tank scares her because knows she can't run him. She focused on herself. Throughout their whole relationship the fussing and fighting, their breaking up to make up June finally realized what was important which is Free and Liberty Wasn’t nothing out there in the streets for him besides making money and he’s cleaning that up. Free isn’t going back to work until Liberty can talk even then will their mothers is willing to let her go to daycare?

That's How Street Love Unfolds!
All three installments were hood drama for real. I love the talents, the growth, the drive and support each character had displayed in this story. There was non-stop drama that was handled but through it all love prevailed like always. I loved all three stories from beginning to end. Renee G

Review
The growth in June was everything. I'm so glad that he decided to get it right with Free even though she could be stubborn. Poor Tru went through alot at a young age. Dionee I hate what happened to her. Tommie still Tommie can't wait to see what's next.
