Abandoned by his parents as a child and raised in a gambling den, Gyeon Heeseong.

He does not hesitate to take on rough tasks for the sake of the older brother who accepted him into the group, but when he is turned into a puppy due to an injury from an attack, he is picked up by Yoon Chi-young.

“What’s with this scruffy puppy?”

‘Let go… you bastard!’

Suddenly, Gyeon Heeseong becomes Yoon Chi-young’s puppy, known as the man-eating wolf.

“The pheromones are almost undetectable. It’s just a puppy.”

‘Quack.’

However, even the doctor judges Heeseong as a mere puppy, so Heeseong decides to deceive Yoon Chi-young by pretending to be a puppy and then escape.

But Yoon Chi-young is a lunatic who never lets the puppy out of his arms.

“I even gave you a treat… Can’t you give me just one kiss?”

‘Sigh…’

Although Heeseong becomes the recipient of affection and care from Yoon Chi-young, whom he fears, their cohabitation is precarious.

“Puppy… I don’t think I’ll eat you.”

‘You, you’re insane.’

The story of the cohabitation of a puppy who just wants to escape from the man-eating wolf, and the man-eating wolf who has lost his heart to such a puppy.

▶A Quick Taste

“I’m sorry, okay? Please forgive me this once.”

“……”

“I’ll never leave your side again. I promise.”

‘Don’t try to act cute!’

If only he had left him alone, he would have cooled down on his own. But being coaxed with a handsome face, the puppy was utterly infuriated. Heeseong attacked Yoon Chi-young’s hand as soon as he saw it and barked fiercely.

Woof! Woof!

“What’s that? You like me so much? Want to go home quickly?”

Yoon Chi-young, petting the puppy, asked Ji Yeong-bae, a subordinate of the canine tribe. Despite continuously being bitten by the puppy, he always thought romantically. And Ji Yeong-bae always responded honestly.

“Yes, sir… He’s saying, ‘You bastard.’”

“So damn cute…. Okay, let’s go home and be alone together.”

this is might have been the cutest i have ever read this year. both the manhwa and novel are so good i keep on going back to reread all over again. i love the dynamics between the puppy gyeon heesung and the wolfie yoon chiyoung. PLS THE WAY YOON CHIYOUNG OBSSESS OVER THE CUTENESS OF THE PUPPY IS SO UNDERSTANDABLE. && the way they healed each other's childhood trauma makes me think that they are really meant for each other. the extra chapters are cute also!! their marriage life and them having kids is the best thing i've ever read.

so u may be thinking “Lulu u haven’t read a book in months and months literally how did u finish this in one day”. well kind sir there is nothing like some fluffy bl to get you out of a reading slump!!!! I found out abt this cuz there’s a manhwa version coming out rn but I desperately wanted to know what happened so I read the novel! this was so cute omg TT. unironically I was reading this for most of the day and I don’t regret a thing. oh my god how adorable!!!! the fluff was so good, had me giggling and squirming around. the smut on the other hand 🤨 mega eyebrow emoji. well! u could say it was the norm for bl, however that doesn’t stop me from enjoying it. def felt a little rapey. for sure. bro was literally crying out to stop and not do these things???! the knotting?? ugh dhmu abt that. how many times did Heeseong have to say no 😭😭 that he didn’t want it. but chi-young did not gaf I fear. I get it like he’s got all these pheromones or whatever but I am sick and tired of that excusing literal rape!!!! however, even though heeseong called out these things, all his inner dialogue seemed okay. and he definitely reflected on the experience only positively. which is the norm I guess for these bls. (this is literally just copium). have to keep reminding myself this is normal and they pretend it’s consent bc it’s attractive for them to be forced into something??? 😭🤨 well. even though the smut at first seemed very out of character for them, I adjusted and it began to suit their characters more, so I was fulfilled ig. The character and relationship development was good too UGHHH. the whole thing where chi-young revealed he knew he was a puppy and then was like “I was raising you as a lover” 😭😭😭 omg so funny but also adorable for sure. then he had to adjust! plus heeseong was realising his fondness for chi-young sm!!! before he left LOL. then their relationship developed still and he realised he had feelings 🙃 omg. SAUUURRRR adorable. the whole Hodu situation is funny af too like them realising they were both getting jealous over a 7 y/o 😭😭😭. another thing is how good it feels to see the villains suffer UGHHH feels amazing 🔥. heeseong’s freaking brother!? omg he has my whole fist ❤️ in his balls. cuz he is not allowed to have family if that’s how he treats his “brother”. like tf?? literally stole all his earnings and used him for money! obviously from the beginning he was a pos but I still TT.
that scenario when they were both back in their true forms playing in the snow together warmed my heart more than anything oh my god!! anywho was great just had a few minor concerns… all in all 4.5 I enjoyed this to the max
Update: I finished reading all the extras!!! they’re so cute omg I was actually tweaking and awwwing reading it. the one where they take time away for 3 days and he meets chi-young’s mum 😭😭 so adorable bro and she’s like “I already accepted him as my other son” !!!!!!!!!! kill me now

This was the cutest most wholesome story ever 😭🩷😭🩷 The way Heesung is so sassy, fearless, ready to protect Chi-young but also just the fluffiest ball of sweetness. And how Chi-young adores and takes care of his pup 😭 He is literally the greenest flag ever. They are so perfect for each other. I loved this so much.

An incredibly cute and funny story that i could have read 10 more books about.

*spoilers ahead*
Felt quite let down with the lack of confrontation with his Hyung, though. The fact that he never even sees him or seems to enact any form of revenge, despite it being the main reason for him choosing to remain with Chiyeong initially, was disappointing.

Recomendada.

4.5 stars rounded up. This is so ridiculously cute. Stupid and silly and just fun. There are a couple of hairy moments that might be off-putting for people who are only reading for pure fluff, but nothing bad actually happens. Their personalities are a little under-developed in the sense that they just hit the same notes over and over again, but those notes ring true: a big bad scary wolf who is secretly tender-hearted and wishes someone would see past his fangs, and a tiny scrappy dog who hates being looked down on and worries about being abandoned again. They're perfect for each other and have each other's backs in the ways they really need.

I have only one minor quibble, which is that the plot/storyboarding is sometimes a little abrupt with the flow of the story not being perfectly smooth. Big moments get glossed over a little, and then other things get 15 unnecessary panels to make sure you've gotten all the fluff in great detail. But this is hardly a deal breaker for an otherwise stellar story which is just a joy to read.

Overall, what a fun, silly, lovely story about two misfits who match each other perfectly.

This was the most beautiful story in the woooorld!~ Honestly, it’s just incredible. I absolutely love the personalities of both characters. I especially adore how Puppy starts to open up more and more as the story progresses—he becomes less afraid to show his feelings. And Wolfie… I truly believe he’s the most amazing man in the world. To me, he’s the perfect standard of a man, 100%.

love it 🤍

The manhwa adaptation is nice and it has a pretty art style, but the novel hits different. A must read. Heeseong and Yoon Chi young‘s relationship dynamic is one of my favorite things esp in the novel
