I would even say that's the core of the story is seeing these three women figure out their lives and their love lives! The beginning is these three women in search for amazing orgasms but it becomes so much more.

+ Beautiful art
+ Telling women to not compromise on sex, they should have a partner that satisfies them!
+ Deals with other topics in a sensitive and complex way: stalking, kinks, fat shaming, slut shaming, physical abuse, sexual abuse
+ Laugh-out-loud hilarious moments
+ All the female characters are so powerful and dominant, but also just women!
+ The smut scenes are delicious and tingly because there is build-up and development.
+ The couples talk to each other and respect each other.
+ All the communications I could ask for.

The characters had my heart and soul- the plot was fast-paced and full of drama- there was enough steam to run a f89king choo choo train 🚂, not to mention the representation of DIVERSE SEXUALITIES, GENDERS, & BODY TYPES!!!!! I adored literally every single thing about this, A+ 🥰🥰🥰

ADVERTENCIA DE LECTURA +18 / Muy gráfica
No estaba segura de si agregarlo a mis lecturas porque la verdad la sinopsis le hace un flaco favor a una historia que va más allá del sexo, pero vamos a comenzar.

Este manhwa/manga en un inicio sigue la historia de una chica que quiere encontrar un chico con el que tuvo una aventura de una noche hace siete años, una experiencia que jamás pudo olvidar.
En conversaciones con sus amigas se da cuenta que encontrar satisfacción y/o un buen compañero es muy difícil y se propone encontrar al chico adecuado de una vez por todas, un deseo que se extiende a sus amigas.
Es así como estas chicas de 27 años tratan de hacerse cargo de los distintos aspectos de su vida, tanto profesionales como sentimentales y a comenzar a experimentar de relaciones afectivas más maduras y de su sexualidad de una forma más satisfactoria.

Siento que esta historia no es diferente a leer un libro +18, pero el tema de que sea tan gráfico lo vuelve un tanto grotesco(? obviamente hay censura, pero aún así es muy explícito. A pesar de todo, es una historia muy divertida y habla de temas tan interesantes que me enganché muy rápido.

Más que nada y a pesar del trasfondo romántico/erótico hay muchos mensajes acerca de empoderamiento femenino físico/emocional, sororidad, amistad, redescubrimiento, cuerpos normativos, estándares de belleza, y madurez emocional. Hacia el final estamos siguiendo la historia de cuatro parejas que experimentan diferentes problemáticas y tratan de solucionarlas.

Ahora, la historia no está exenta de temas problemáticos y es que si bien hay una defensa muy fuerte a las mujeres, hay escenas de body shaming a hombres y que se suponía tenían que ser humorísticas y no estoy de acuerdo, el empoderamiento no viene de tratar de hacer quedar mal al otro, siento que manejaban el tema muy bien en relación a defensa de mujeres y cuerpos no normativos, pero no había la misma consideración con ellos. Se podría criticar la falta de preocupación de tu pareja por tu comodidad y/o placer, pero no es justo sacar a colación temas físicos que no se pueden cambiar y avergonzar al otro al respecto. Ese fue un punto muy negativo de la historia.

No me arrepiento de haberlo leído, fue algo diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrada y trata buenos temas, algunos de mejor forma que otros, pero tampoco creo que vuelva a leer algo así de explicito porque fue muy raro jajajaj en este caso prefiero leer cosas explicitas a verlas.

Actually regardless of how the art wasnt up to standard, it actually turned out to be one of the decent manhwas I have ever read! It’s about three girls Eunsung, Okjae, and Minsuh who are looking for love and bromance type of friendship that just made them into likeable characters. To give a summary of each character, let’s start with Eunsung.

Eunsung is a pretty good looking gal who is basically messing with any guy she can get and 7 years ago, she keeps wondering of a guy who brought her into a hotel and appears to have had a compass tattoo on his leg. She literally is the type who says what she needs to say and I loved how straightforward she was! She has her boss Johan always at her throat everyday since she is always late for work at his cafe.

Okjae is the second girl of the gang to have a obsession with lads dressing in femme clothes (she’s not wrong to have this obsession, I relate). She had a bad previous relationship so she’s not really into the love scene but has obnoxious Areum falling for her.

Like Okjae, Minsuh has had a bad experience with men and the fact she is conscious over her weight. She has Sarah (waifu), aka Johans sister falling for her.

The sex scenes, plot and character development were definitely on point in this manhwa like guys….check this out since I read it for hours!

This is, unequivocally, chick lit. Or women's fiction, if you prefer; it's definitely not genre romance. And that's fine, because it does a good job with it if that's your flavor of reading. The story follows three women in their attempts to have satisfying sex lives, and it's got a lot to say about women's pleasure and women taking charge of their own pleasure when men think that all they have to do is have a penis and show up. My problem is exclusively that I just really didn't like any of the characters. Or, okay, the art, but the characters, especially our main heroine, were really the dealbreaker for me.

NON-SPOILERY THOUGHTS:


daaaamn! this manhwa really impressed me. i am STILL very pleasantly surprised at how well the author managed to develop three leading ladies, their significant others, and their friends.

for starters, meet our main babies - Eunsung, Okjae, and Minsuh - 27-year-old alpha female best friends who are on the search for orgasms, which they nickname "Mr. O." one is a coffee shop part-timer who can never settle down in anything because she isn't satisfied in every way; another is disciplined and cold, with unconventional, um... tastes that she can never satisfy; the last is a sweet and adorable accountant in a relationship with a guy who never sexually satisfies her. each lady is an absolute icon.

now, this premise may sound unappealing, but trust me, the characters all go through so much development it's crazy! it's not just a smut story; it's more than that. it's about the characters' lives and how they overcome their fears, insecurities, and adversities. it's about how strong and brave and badass these three women are, all in their own unique ways.

the characters and their interactions were amazing, if you couldn't tell already. although there were a few misunderstandings and teeny love triangles, two things i'm not a big fan of, they were resolved quickly and maturely with OPEN COMMUNICATION, something vital that manhwa authors often overlook.

the friendships of this manhwa, especially those of the women, were beautiful to read about. i LOVED how open and honest the characters were with each other, thus having no unnecessary or unrealistic drama drag on for too long. all of the characters were lovable (maaaybe with the exception of one, but that's based on pure kink personal preference), and i rooted for all of them (yes, even that one character i just mentioned).

also, i am LIVING for the DIVERSITY in this story! we've got different body types, different heights, preferences, kinks, dynamics, and other statuses, things you would find in real life. our three leading ladies, for example, have very different body types, all beautifully and perfectly portrayed.

all in all, i'm so glad i stumbled upon this manhwa! it explored a lot of deep and perhaps controversial topics with grace, poise, and GREAT MOTHER EFFIN' ART (seriously, the art was GORGEOUS!). hands-down top 5 manhwa of all time as of now. i was very pleased with it!



SPOILERY THOUGHTS:


these three four ladies (almost forgot about Ho-eun!) will be the death of me. they are so strong, admirable, and badass i can't even anymore.

i am so gosh darn thankful that the author decided to use proper communication in the story, which made the whole thing so much more enjoyable to read. i binged the entire 147 chapters in two days! that's how hooked i was to it.

i was very satisfied with each character's arc. all these babies grew so much! *proceeds to cry softly*

i loved how the author messed with the dynamics of the couples, such as Okjae being an intimidating (and sometimes going a bit overboard) femdom with unconventional kinks. and yes, she was that one character i didn't completely love because i wasn't too comfortable with her not verbally asking for Areum's consent, but i still loved her and hoped the best for her.

i also loved how the females were portrayed, such as Eunsung being an assertive bish instead of your typical stupid/passive/weak FMC, Minsuh being strong after her tough breakup, and Ho-eun not being that actual let's-all-hate-on-the-ex bish, just to name a few. getting a taste of these realistic portrayals was such a breath of fresh air!

each of these ladies' significant others were great to read about, too! Areum went through a huge positive character arc, changing himself for the better for Okjae, though i feel a little badly for him because he was lowkey mistreated by her. Johan was the loveliest boy ever, very unlike your stereotypical "cold" tsundere boyfriends, and his interactions with Eunsung were so adorable, wholesome, and satisfying to read about (if only i could have a boyfriend like him!). Sarah was probably the best S.O. a person could ask for - incredibly considerate, caring, and devoted to her partner; i always looked forward to hers and Minsuh's scenes! though Minhee's character was frustrating at first, i grew to love him as i watched him develop into a better person and learn how to COMMUNICATE CORRECTLY.

i'll have to admit, despite how thoroughly i enjoyed this manhwa, the last 10 chapters were a little anticlimactic. it would've been perfect if the author took out Sarah's befuddling and unnecessary ploy to cheer up Minsuh and replaced it with more internal monologues of the three leading ladies overcoming their flaws and insecurities. however, i was still happy with how it ended, even though things were rushed. not all of the loose strings were completely tied, and that was okay - it's just how life is.

agh, The Missing O did NOT disappoint. i loved it so, so much!

I love how books help confirm your kinks. Like, I always knew I wanted to consensually peg a man, but now, I'm making it my life's mission.

Okay, okay, in all seriousness, if I had to rank The Missing O against all the manhwas I've read this year, I think it'd be in the top 2, right under The Beast must die 01 - that is how much I love this story.

The synopsis, talks about how this is the story of Eunsung, who's been on a mission to find or rather recreate this one mind blowing orgasm she had 7 years ago. While this is true, it sells the story short. Yes the elusive orgasm is central to the plot, but this story evolves and covers way more than that, especially in seasons 2 and 3.

It's a story of 3 main girls Eunsung, and her two besties Okjae, and Minsuh - all 27 year old women learning how to best navigate sex, love, relationships (both romantic and platonic), career, sexual orientation, self-esteem and much more. What simply starts as a search for better sexual and romantic partners grows into much more. We explore kinks, body shaming, slut shaming, mental health, domestic violence, jealousy within friend groups, etc.

I appreciate the author so much for not dragging out this story. Not only is the story fast paced (honesty, I found zero pacing issues with this one), but open communication was seen throughout. Problems in romantic situations as well as within the friend group were not dragged out because these people spoke to each other

The only thing I would say I had a problem with would be The situation between Aerum and Okjae. Yes, Aerum was a real piece of shit in the beginning with some self esteem and hardcore red pill issues, but that didn't justify how Okjae treated him. She reminded me of all the men that will happily sleep with a woman with zero intention of taking things further - even when they know that she wants more. Every time she'd shiver in disgust at the thought of dating Aerum, despite all the things she was doing to him... yeah, I wanted to slap her.

The was also the issue of consent when doing some of these things with Aerum. She finally found a guy who'd dress up in female clothes for her, and she just went full speed ahead, inserting things in him and using degrading and humiliating language on him without any consent or conversation.

Sure, by the end Aerum craves the domination, the pegging, etc. claiming that he's now at a point that his ass twitches whenever he thinks of her and can no longer cum on his own, but we cannot forget that in the beginning, he does what he does for her, simply because he thinks it'll bring them closer and make her want to date him.

He was a young naïve young man who loved androgynous clothing, was a little open minded and she lowkey took advantage of that. That wasn't cool. I will say though.... That one shot of Aerum on all fours, in a tiny skirt and the vibrator, face flushed and tears in his eyes.... Girl..., Lemme shut up and go take a shower (chapter 143 for any curious souls👀)

None of these characters are particularly likeable, and while it's still cute, the art inside is nowhere near as detailed as the cover art. But I'm intrigued enough by some of the spoilers I've seen regarding the direction this story takes, including a sapphic pairing, that I'll keep reading for now.

Lo único destacable es que es una historia medianamente entretenida.

En primer lugar, me parece que la protagonista es nefasta. Trata a los hombres como basura (se burla de ellos, e incluso los agrede física y verbalmente) solo porque está sexualmente frustrada. Eso de hablar con tu pareja, así sea una de una noche (bah, sobretodo si es una de una noche), decirle lo que te gusta y lo que no, eso nunca, ¿verdad? La culpa la tiene el otro por no saber mágicamente lo que le gusta a alguien que acaba de conocer (lo mismo iría para ellos, por ni siquiera preguntar, pero obvio, tenían que dejar a todos los hombres, menos a uno, como unos animales sin cerebro).

Y hablando de ese "menos uno", la protagonista está desesperada por encontrar a un tipo que conoció una noche de borrachera máxima solo porque la hizo llegar al orgasmo... Repito, por si no quedó claro, ella estaba tan borracha que ni siquiera recordaba la cara del hombre con el que estuvo, un hombre que la dejó sola antes de que ella se despertara (sí, sí, después te aclara que fue porque "tenía cosas que hacer"). Ahora me pregunto, y esto iría para las mujeres que dicen que esta historia es feminista y no sé qué, ¿eso no sería considerado violaci*n? Digo, más allá de que ella haya dicho que sí (bah, si mal no recuerdo, ni siquiera le dijo que si, pero en fin), técnicamente no podía dar su consentimiento como tal.

En segundo lugar, hablaré de una de las amigas. Nos presentan su historia como: es fría y no sé qué porque un tipo la maltrató. Okay, entiendo, pero ¿eso justifica que trate igual o peor de como la trataron a otro chico? Constantemente lo obliga a hacer cosas cuando repetidas veces él se niega a hacerlas. Es gracioso, porque quien lo escribió literalmente te pone al chico super nervioso diciéndole que no, y después hace ver como que en realidad todo eso le gusta, y de esa forma justifica el que lo hayan obligado.

Al final, creo que la relación lesbica fue la más sana de todas. Fue la única en donde se puede ver un consentimiento real y un amor entre ellas dos muy lindo. Eso salva un poco la historia, y en general las estrellas son por esa pareja.

One of the best web comics you would ever find out there. Beautiful peice of art that will forever leave a impact on you.
I personally went for the yuri and came out with life lessons.
The reason why I have given it 4 stars is simple. The authoress really was unknowledgeable regarding BDSM relationships. It could have been THE relationship but became somewhat of a let down because of the non-consentual parts.

BDSM relationships can be beautiful and arousing if done right. Unfortunately, it wasn't done right. Moving past that writing, what really caught my eye was the message this relationship portrayed.
"A person with kinks should not settle with a person who treats them less as a human being just because they like the sex."

I think it's a very important lesson because in tv series they keep on encouraging relationship for the sole purpose of sex. Whereas the solution should be, sex but no relationship. It was a very mature lesson and I am glad I came across this book.

All the female characters are AWESOME. The tone is SOOO sex positive and beautiful that if you are anything like me , you will be hooked from chapter one.

Está entretenido, pero está culero. Las lesbianas son tan aburridas que hasta me parece homofobia. Como que a la autora le gusta el non-con pq la pinche OkJae no paraba de meterle cosas en el culo al twink sin preguntarle y no le importaba que le dijera que no, al final al twink le termina gustando pero está weird igual. La pareja principal se salva porque son muy tiernos y muy hot juntos, pero en cuanto termina la primera temporada se pone suuuper aburrido porque ya no pasa nada. Me salté los capítulos de HoEun a menos que saliera Minhee pq está muy bueno ese pinche emo cómo lo quiero

I appreciated some aspects of this: namely, the mature and supportive friendship between the three best friends (and generally women being kind and supportive to each other), and sometimes the commentary on misogyny. Except that the former is only really visible at the very beginning and during a side-story between chapters, and the latter reads too much like "you just haven't found a decent guy" in its reductionism. Literally, the only kinda healthy relationship in that both partners respect each other as equals is the lesbian one and even this one has 1) a dubious start and 2) the usual unequal power/respect dynamics during sex. The "BDSM" relationship is all kinds of rapey and unhealthy but none of it is ever addressed, when this could have been a prime opportunity to actually address such rampant issues in the BDSM world. The "good" "normal" het relationships are presented as cute and healthy when in reality,

1) the men keep treating the women with condescension/force during sex (even though it's not as bad as the "misogynistic" guys the writing makes a point of addressing) and all the women involved are written to be okay with it,

2) the men keep being emotionally distant and putting all the emotional work on their partners, presented as shyness or independence of course, and being paternalistic and reliant on their partners (i.e., presenting the women as unreasonable/stubborn while still making them do all the emotional labor), and this is presented as a character flaw that the women need to learn to compromise with because they also have character flaws their partners are contending with, completely disregarding this very structurally enforced power dynamic.

There are so much things i loved about this manhwa, but also so much things that bothered me that i'm going to take the take to write a proper review, even though i never do.

What i liked :
- Nice portrayal of female friendship.
- Non judgemental approach to various way of treating sex.
- LGBTQ representation.
- Women with different body types, without glossing over the fact that being different than average or different than conventional beauty standards isn't as easy to come to terms with as just "loving yourself".
- Subtle approach to different problems (communication among friends, in a couple..., managing disapointment, managing a carreer...) and communication in general.
- Safe-sex

What i hated :
- Very problematic portrayal of consent. Especially in regard to use of alcohol/drugs and BDSM sex.
- Body shaming men. I get that characters can be flawed/do bad things but in a manhwa where abuse is always called out when it's happening to a woman (as it should be), i'm deeply uncomfortable with the double standard. It doesn't matter if these men are assholes, two wrongs don't make a right. This could have been an occasion to show growth for some of the characters.

All in all it's one of the best manhwa i've read, with a really good portrayal of different relationships, but i just wish it didn't make it seem as if treating women better should come at the cost of treating men right. And i say this as a women and a feminist.

This series is pretty cool, I like how the protagonist openly enjoys her sex life. There's a lot of drama at the beginning, some which was not particularly to my tastes; but it served a perfect role as exposition- it shows how the mc and her friends are going through rough patches in their lives, and how they gradually experience and work through their trials and difficulties to get the O that they deserve! The road to orgasm is definitely one filled with pitfalls and unexpected plot twists.

Overall: Very decent and sex positive work, though there are some character conflicts and stuff that weren't particularly for me personally. That doesn't detract from the fun of this series, though.

It was soo good.
The main character 's relationship was so nice and balanced. I loved how openly they communicated and how they accomodate each other.


Loved how friendships were equally prioritized as romantic relationships. It was funny, charming and yet it dealt with important issues too without coming off as preachy. I really enjoyed the story. Would highly recommend.


Bonus: it has a sapphic couple and they are amazing ❤️

Love this webtoon, great group of friends, hilarious, fun, and interesting dynamics and couples, lots of diversity in many ways! From start to finish it was a wild ride, my heart is full of emotions right now as i finished reading😭
The only dynamic i wasn't a huge fan of was Okjae and Areum honestly, but that's neither here nor there, just not my cup of tea (the way Areum was treated that is)
