I did enjoy it but what bothered be here a bit was the constant assault that popped up, not really by the ML he tried his best to control himself even too he also got a bit too touchy as MC coudnt consent fully, but by the other students. It just annoyed me because without it , it would have been so much better.

My only complaint is that it felt super rushed. This easily could have been a 5 volume series or more. I wanted to know so much more about the world and characters but it was over before I knew it. Still a fun read.

The story was pretty mid and some things were kinda off (mainly the hospital drama-esque anesthetics deal). But, I gotta admit, it was pretty darn cute!

This is different than most ABO stories, which is rather refreshing. Shunya and Ryouta are best friends attending an all alpha school, but Shunya especially has big plans for trying to help omegas following in his father's footsteps with research and advancing suppressants. This research takes on an even more personal touch when he has to ask if participating in a clinical study may have influenced how he suddenly becomes an omega. Fortunately, only Ryouta is around at first when it happens, and his friend is loyal if nothing else, though Ryouta has also been attracted to Shunya from the day they first met. Their relationship is more than a little chaotic and murky after this change, though it's clear that both of them still greatly value their relationship with the other. Even though they have each other, it seems navigating this new reality won't be as easy as either of them may have hoped in the beginning.

*This is not a 'Bad' review, this is a 'needed a little more' type of review.

The art is stunning, and the way the story was going with the 'change in genders' and 'wanting to make the world a better place' really set it up to be a good story. And I'm not here saying that it isn't. I just wish it had more story in it, like, details of the research, the relationship between Shunya and Ryouta. Just to get more insight into those things.

I know it's never a given that a story gets a second volume, but I really hope this one does. it's still really interesting and there's a lot that could be delved into with a second volume (*^^*)

I wasn't sure where this was going, at the start, but this is a super cute story that actually cares about consent, omega's right to body autonomy and their right to live safely in the world.

There is NO non-con! While there is a threat of it, the subject is treated with respect and the seriousness is deserves.

The artwork was gorgeous and perfectly suited the characters and the story.
And there was even a brief mention of nesting, which was adorable and I would have loved to see more of that.

I needed a little more world building and more relationship build up. As much as I’m anti-SA I felt like it was used correctly to show how dangerous it was for Shuun to be hiding his omega status. And for him to finally admit that he isn’t less than just cause he’s an omega.

Definitely different than the usual abos I read. Not too sure I liked it, though respected the different route it took.
