While a number of typos and a slightly disjointed narrative kept me from giving it a full 5 stars, the book was a fun quick dip back into the archeological excavations conducted by Time Team. The subtitle, "An Alternative History of Britain," sounds more revolutionary than the book really is. Sometimes depth was added to our knowledge of the past, but rarely was History overturned by the Team's findings. Overall, a good book!

As a fan of these TV shows, I loved the book. Now, I want to go to England and visit some of these places. First step: win the lottery.
