{My Thoughts} – Sadie helps out at Power Pets like her friends Max, Henry and Lexi do. The pet store gets in a new litter of Poodle Puppies and Sadie really wants one. She asks her parents and they agree to allow her to get one. She names her new puppy Truffles. Truffles has a special trick, his trick seems to help Sadie have the ability to have more confidence in herself. At the end of the book she and Truffles participates in a talent show and if you’d like to know how it turns out, you’ll have to read the book.
This is an awesome book for children to read, that have problems believing in themselves. I can understand how in today’s world children may have problems believing in themselves and understanding that they really can do anything as long as they put their minds to it. I know that sometimes the best way to help them be able to do such things is assist in encouraging them as parents. However, this book takes a different spin on encouraging. The puppy helps to encourage Sadie and helps her to see her true potential.
I do think that this book series can be a wonderful addition to any child’s bookshelf! They are short reads and each have really nice lessons and pick me ups in them that can help children learn without being given a lengthy lecture.

Sadie had just got a pet poodle. She named him Truffle. She taught her pet tricks, so she wanted to enter a talent show. Truffle performed tricks on the stage for the audience. They were so awesome!!!

This was on of the worst ones yet! Sodie was snobby, and all her facts just ruined the book. This magic is just a little too dumb
