Later, he founded a daily newspaper on a string in Rolla, Missouri, and after that, a highly successful public relations firm in St. Louis, Missouri. He had been writing books full time since 1982

Great book packed with historical facts and great stories about real every day people who became heroes. Good read it might be a bit overwhelming at first but keep at it you’ll be glad in the end.

A superb mix of personal stories and underlying historical views. Love those guys but won't get me to jump out of a good airplane.

I really liked the history behind it. Did not know they actualy made jumps in the pacific. Also more history about europe. Great book.
