After a traumatic paranormal experience at her house in the countryside, Ellen decides it's time to start over again. The young woman buys a derelict property in the quaint old village of Chipford, and with her fiance renovates it. Much to her delight, she opens a flower shop, and settles into her new home. All appears to be going well. She has a business to establish, and a wedding to organise. Suddenly, her peaceful life is thrown into disarray, when a ghost from the past makes an appearance and asks for her help.

I love this sequel just as much as book one. This one is spooky and at times I felt my heart race. I was so afraid that Ellen might actually be killed and/or lose Graeme, her fiancé. I turned the pages as fast as I could, hoping she’d get the answer Constance wanted so she’d stop tormenting Ellen. Constance had no problem causing others pain either. She’s one frustrating ghost.

I don’t like to spoil a book for others. Therefore, you’ll have to read this wonderful book to find out if Ellen gets married and lives happily ever after.
