Really great book for getting insights into the music world across genres, and listening to a charismatic author, who been through it all tell his stories. I believe there were many stories that could have gone deeper or farther, but overall kept it all tight and respectful of the people he discussed. Great advice, as well for any musician looking to make a solid career. I’m an appreciator of music, and grateful for the grooves he contributed and created with the various groups, many are and were my favorite songs growing up! Your interview with Jack Conte and Ryan Lerman on Dead Wax YouTube channel convinced me that this would be a book to read, and I’m glad I did.
