My favorite thing about Izzy’s writing is that she gets right to it! Book two was a WILD ride, in the best way! So much has been happening with Leera and Roman and I am loving this life for them but another few twists and a cliffhanger has my heart LITERALLY ON THE LINE! 🤣

Oh. My. God… I literally just got this book as an ARC today and I need to show some restraint and not eat it up in one day (which I literally did with the last book too so it’s a theme at this point)… I was not prepared for the wild rollercoaster this book was going to take me on after ending book 1 with a cliffhanger of Leera’s kidnapping, and I am so glad it did give twists and turns I wasn’t prepared for! This book had so many touching, emotional, character redeeming moments that I won’t go into for the sake of this review as if you loved book one as much as I did, I know you will adore book 2.
Roman and Leera are amazing together and it is adorable to see Leera come into herself as a character more in this book (and stick up for herself when Roman gets a little too caveman like 😁)! Not only are things starting to heat up in their lives, with plot twist, after plot twist, things are heating up in the bedroom too (hopefully you will read this and see what I did with that. Yes pun intended😉). I have to say, I absolutely loved the spicy scenes in this book and am so glad Roman and Leera are getting to that point😌.
Not only do we see Roman and Leera’s characters build further, we get to see more of Andrei, Khaos, and surprisingly India, that I think the readers needed after the first book. I love a good redemption arc for side characters! Overall, this series is starting to come along beautifully and I have to say I will be (im)patiently awaiting the next book in the series!

I enjoyed watching Leera come more into her own this book. I also loved how the spice/romance played out. It was refreshing to not have a couple jump immediately into s3x. They're exploring and getting to know each other and while there is definitely spice, it felt more genuine.
How can I word this without spoilers? In My Pucking Mate- I had a feeling a character was going to be revealed as someone else.... and I was right! LOL Although I did not see that character's true sibling being revealed! That was a shocker! I like surprises! My Pucking Family also ended on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see how Leera, Roman, and the boys will proceed forward next.

Leera and Roman 😍 I love them and I love the way he loves her. He’s the definition of falls first & harder like damn. The plot twists in this one were WILDDDDD, mind blown. I finished this in one sitting, thats how hooked I was.
The character development in this was insane and so lovely. We had a lil redemption which was enjoyable and I can’t wait to read more. Seeing all of the bonds being built has my heart swooning, I love those boys.
Seeing Leera battle her anxiety and sometimes putting Roman in his place makes me so happy. She has a heart of gold and I cannot wait to see where book 3 takes her. I’m so invested in her story.
The spice was 10/10, that man is fine AS FUCK. I love me a respectful gentleman that cannot keep himself together. SWOON.

This has quickly become one of my favorite shifter series. This is book two in the series and you need to read book one first, as this one continues immediately after. But it is so worth it to dive headfirst into this series. I read a lot of shifter romances and I love the different takes that the author takes. I love that this story is set in a world that seems very normal, but has so many hidden complexities to it. And who doesn’t love when big, bulky werewolves that play hockey all become like family to the FMC. The chemistry between the two MCs seemed so strong and realistic. They were a couple that you can connect with.
The MCs in this story are fantastic. I couldn’t help but smile reading the growth that Leera is making. She started this series very naïve and we watch her grow and become more sure of herself as she learns more about the world that she is actually in. She does suffer from some trauma that she has had to deal with. I really loved how the author wrote about Leera’s panic attacks. As someone who suffers from many panic attacks, I thought the author did a spectacular job writing about Leera’s own battle. Ronan is sheer perfection when it comes to MMCs. He would do anything that he felt appropriate to someone that may have hurt his family. He is super protective and so loving. He is dominant but does whatever he can to make Leera smile.
This is such a great continuation of this series. I thought that all of the side characters really made this story. I kept telling that I wanted to know more about all of the different characters. Ronan’s pack of werewolves were so fantastic. They are caring and fierce and willing to take care of Ronan’s mate. This book does have more spice that the last one, but you have to remember that the MCs are going slow, so don’t expect them to immediately leap into bed. The author really knows how to grab our attention and need to read the next book as soon as possible. I can’t wait to continue this series as soon as the author releases book three.

Well she did it again! Izzy Elliott has got me needing more from her paranormal hockey romance. “My Pucking Family” picks up immediately after “My Pucking Mate” ended. (So yes, you do need to read the first book in THE PUCKING WEREWOLVES series before reading “My Pucking Family”).
We find our FMC Leera in some suspenseful situations and we get to see the growing bonds of Leera and her new found family/pack. The relationship between Leera and MMC Roman has so much realness that you find yourself swooning over the protectiveness he has for her and the relatability of this modern day woman who has sass and determination to be her own knight in shining armor, even if she does sometimes require some rescuing.
We also get a look into the shifter realm of Zabella and see the closeness and bonds of the pack while also learning of some of the politics of the realm and what the future may hold for this group of characters that we have become so invested in.

This book was soo good, probably one of my most anticipated books for this year after reading the first book in august and it didn’t disappoint!
I adore the chemistry between Roman and Leera. I love the connection between the pack and Leera. I ate up all the twists multiple times this book at me sitting at the edge of my seat. The ending particularly, i have no words i need book 3 asap. I’m so invested in these characters it’s becoming a problem..
Crying internally until i get my hands on book 3🙈

Oh man, I read this book in one day, Izzy idk, your writing makes it so easy to read for some reason. Must be magic or something. I’ve missed this world and I was so happy to be back in there swooning over Leera and Roman. These two are so adorable and the way he’s with her is so cute.
How many twists/revelations can you make in a book? A ton apparently, I only had a feeling of two but oh wow. Also, the found family in this book is top tier!!! I loved this book and I’m anxiously waiting for the next one. You do in fact need to read this books in order as this book picks up right after book 1. Izzy… can I have the next book please? 🙏

Oh my goodness does Izzy know how to draw you in and leave you wanting more! I loved that we got more Leera and Roman chemistry and Leera discovering more about herself in this one! This book was definitely spicier than the first one and is leading up to an even spicier third! I cannot wait for the third book, I devoured this one in one sitting and I NEED THE NEXT ONE already!!! I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for My Pucking Family and if you like werewolf’s or hockey, this is a must read!

This book picks up right where My Pucking Mate left off and let me tell you it was a wild ride! I really enjoyed finding out about Leeras past and it was great to see her and Roman's relationship develop. This book really gave us a lot of information that was needed after the first book and I am definitely starting to understand why some of the characters are the way they are. There were also some interesting and entertaining twists and of course I want more! So I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the next book! Thank you Izzy Elliott for sharing this book with me!

4.5 ⭐ rounded up to 5 on here. 2 🌶️. Absolutely loved Pucking Werewolves book 2: My Pucking Family! There were so many answered questions and even more questions that I have now after finishing MPF! Oh my gosh, this was such a wild ride and I am in awe of Leera's will power and grace! I absolutely love her newfound family and connections and she's a perfect fit for Roman's pack and I am so very excited to read the next book! You get so much information! I loved getting to learn so much about Leera and Roman in this book! I feel so connected to them and the world they are trying to build! We find out so much about them as individuals and you really see Leera grow into her role! The twist at the end really had me though!

Let me start off by saying that this is the second book in the incredible world Izzy Elliott is creating, and I was so excited to read My Pucking Family and the continuation of Roman and Leera as the first one was left on a cliffhanger…
Words can't describe the amount of heart and soul and pure magic I felt while reading these two. Izzy yet again took me to a whole new level of obsession in the amount of feelings this book invoked in me was a roller coaster of emotions. I laughed, I gasped, caught myself gripping my shirt and shed so many tears at the beauty of Roman's love for Leera and the love this pack has for her and each other. Anyone who knows me knows I have a heart for fated mates and their packs because the love they have for their mate is the perfect amount of possessive and pure that makes for the perfect HEA. I'm absolutely irrevocably ( little twilight moment) iykyk.. in love with them and I can't wait to see where these two and the rest of the pack family winds up. I could write about these two forever as they have imprinted on my heart and made me fall more in love with the beauty of fighting for their destiny in the power of their mate bond. Thank you Izzy Elliott for following your heart and writing his incredible books. The pure joy and love I have for this pack and the family they have created have my heart forever.

I cannot get enough of these books. This story just keeps getting better and better. Not only do you fall in love with the main characters, you fall in love with the entire pack.

When I tell you I could not wait to get my hands on this, and once I did, I could not put it down. I still think the writing itself needs some work, BUT I'm here for the story. Izzy has hooked me. I need to know what happens to these werewolves, and I need her to stop with the cliffhangers. Where is book 3? I need it NOW.

Well another cliffhanger and she still a virgin, now a wolf 🐺 and a lot more responsibilities than she wants. What a turn this took. Still loving the dynamic of the group. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

ARC Review: I am on Izzy’s Street team so I get to see some of the extra behind the scenes of her creating the book. I have been waiting since the summer when I read the first book “My Pucking Mate” and it was worth the wait. Leera and Romans relationship has become more serious and so many new secrets have been revealed. I can’t wait until the next book to find out what happens next. The first book had a lot more of the hockey part of the story this book contains a lot more of the werewolf side of the story. I enjoy both hockey books and werewolves so I think it’s the perfect combination. So excited to see what Izzy delivers us next.

Yes I know you were left with a CLIFFHANGER in book one, so go re-read it and then this one. You will feel so much better. Until you get to the end of this one. Because you will immediately want book three!

Puck YES @izzyelliottwrites! My Pucking Family was an absolute pleasure to read. I loved coming back to the lives of Leera, Roman, and we can’t forget the rest of the pack. This story has all the feels of found family which I loved for Leera. This story also packed in the chemistry… and I’m not talking about a college course class, but a nice slow burn with passion packed in. We find out more about Leera’s life and even a little more about other characters. I couldn’t put this story down. Uncovering the truth, finding family, and courage filled the pages. As I read on, I was so sad when the story ended… oh and it ends with a bang! Three little words that break my heart because it means the story is done, but always fills my heart because there’s more…To Be Continued…. If you haven’t read book one, My Pucking Mate… now’s the time. Get that book on order and preorder My Pucking Family today. All Leera Adams wanted was a normal college experience. First of all, thank you so much to the author for providing me with an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest review. I super appreciate it.❤️

I’m so glad the author answered some questions in this book, rather than continuing to draw all of them out until the final book, when everything else is revealed. That drives me nuts.
This was does end on another cliff hanger, but this one feels more angsty than anxiety filled like the one in the first book.
This one has some spice in it, but I can’t wait for her to come into her own more and wreck his world in book three. I just feel it coming.
A lot happens in this book, more than the first, in my opinion. Roman and Leera get closer (and closer 😏), we find out more about some side characters that book one made us super curious about, we got to hang out with the boys some more and watch them all simp of Leera, we got to meet Leera’s WOLF and she is GORGEOUS, and we even have some surprising redemption arcs.
Now what the crap am I supposed to do while I wait for the third book???

* I think there’s a continuity error when talking about game schedules. They said they had one the next day, then the next day they say Thursday.
* I need to know what tf is going on with andrei!
* Sometimes I have to remind myself she’s only 18 and the things she says and thinks are totally normal for her age
* There are a few typos and editing issues, but this is an ARC and I assume that’ll be addressed before release
* Protect Penelope at all cost
* Did she just ask him if HE is a princess? Gotta be a typo
* “As if I'm not awkward enough on my own, let's add a freaking tiara. You're joking, right?” Did we just quote from the princess diaries?
* Good for India
* Let the girl get a bone!
* Wut….🫨
* Needs more hockey!
