After Tintagel, the mainstay of neutrality amongst the Demon Courts, was attacked, we fled with nothing more than the start of a mate bond. Each of the devastatingly handsome demon kings has had my lifeblood blood, has reignited their immortality, but although are mate bonds are acknowledged, they are not sealed. We are still only a fraction of what we’ll need to be to fight Morgan le Fay.
THE COURT OF DARKNESS.
It’s a far cry from London and Tintagel, but the land of shadows and the monsters that prefer them is our home for the coming days. It’s here I’ll be introduced as the kings’ mate officially. Where Mordred and I will seal our portion of the mate bond. It’s here, with any luck, I might be able to break his curse, too.
BUT ENEMIES SURROUND.
They always do, so we’ll have to act fast. Between Morgan le Fay’s forces and rogue factions, it’s hard to tell who to trust. Except my demon kings. My mates. If we’re to succeed, we’ll have to trust each other over everyone. Even ourselves.
