They say every person has a personal demon; some ignore them, some fight to control them, and some, well,l, some are people who have greater power than their appearance would suggest. For people like myself, we are the latter, for our demons are complicated. Some people would say our demons have made us crazy, but those people only see what lies on top of reality. Others say they have the soul of an angel. The truth is somewhere in between. However, reality has many hidden layers seen only by those like myself. The layer contains djinns, witches, ghosts, and many other creatures thought to only exist in myths and legends. People such as myself are sworn to fight the creatures of that layer who wish to harm humanity. This, my friends, is where our story begins.

Katarina lived a normal life with her aunt. Oblivious to the supernatural realm lurking amongst the world. Yet, that didn't protect her, as a monster attacked her following a late-night concert. By fortune, a couple of Nightshadows rescued her. They tried to make her forget the monster attack, and themselves as well.
Unexpectedly, she didn't forget. Recognizing Damien at a record store, a new life began. Finding her on a journey of secrets, hidden from her since birth. By accident, she was forced to confront a dangerous new world of demons, monsters, and magic. Will she embrace her new life?

Well, when I was younger I wanted to be writer or power ranger from what I recall.Growing up I read constantly, and slowly started to write. Over time my interests changed, but my love of writing remained. I originally went to college for mechanical engineering but dropped out to financial reasons beyond my control.Going through college I wrote when I could, since that has always been a passion. I spend my free time writing, reading and helping out my local FIRST robotics team.
