a fascinating dip into what various forms of fiber arts looked like in 1846. there are quite a few patterns for crochet and knitting included in their respective chapters, as well as discussion of netting, which i rarely see any mention of in the modern day.
i would like to note my copy is a reprint from 2003 purchased at a local vendor
