Great book for anyone who identifies as being a perfectionist. She does a really great job of how crrtain behaviors actually end up being harmful and limiting. I also like how she has prompts to help you reframe certain thought patterns.
I liked the messaging of it, but the writing was so clunky, so often. I found myself rereading so much of it multiple times in an effort to understand. I really like her, though. Her talks are excellent!
Gilded is a sharp, funny, and deeply insightful read. Coach Keren Eldad takes on the modern obsession with status, achievement, and perfection with equal parts honesty and compassion. What I loved most is how she weaves together research, storytelling, and real-life examples in a way that feels both engaging and actionable. It’s not just a critique of the “shiny” lives we’re taught to chase - it’s a guide toward something truer, more grounded, and actually fulfilling. A book that makes you think, laugh, and take a hard (but kind) look at yourself. Highly recommend.
The author's anecdotes, references and summaries make this book easy to read and apply. I don't often reread books, but this one will make it easy to go back to and refresh, almost like a reference text. I also really appreciated her suggestions and added texts for additional learning. Highly recommend and the audio version is well-done as well.
Transformative and thought provoking. This book stayed with me long after I finished it. I will be re-reading and have recommended it to everyone I know who’s stuck in unfulfilling success… but capable of much more.
This book changed my life. As someone who is ambitious and suffers from perfectionism, this book was exactly what I needed. Keren has this incredible way of saying exactly what I need to hear. I recommend to every ambitious woman I know!
For anyone who has ever wondered how to move past their limiting beliefs and change their life for the better, this book walks you through it, step by step.
