Okay, this book was an absolute treat! I love a good reformed playboy story, and Hendrix totally stole my heart. He’s all flirty and charming at first, especially with Raven, but the second he finds out he’s a dad, he’s all in. Watching him grow and figure out fatherhood while also falling for Raven and little Haddy was the sweetest thing ever.

Raven was such a great match for him. She’s tough, she’s determined to chase her dreams, and she’s got a soft side that makes you root for her the whole time. The way her and Hendrix go from a one-night stand to friends to full-on swoony romance was perfect. It’s a slow burn that totally pays off!

And let’s not forget the Bradford family. They’re chaotic, hilarious, and so ride-or-die for each other, even when they’re bickering like kids. Honestly, I’d read a whole book just about their group chats.

Not a super heavy plot, but it’s the kind of cozy, swoony story that makes you smile the whole way through and perfect when you need a break from heavier reads. I’m already counting down to the last Bradford boy’s book!

I wish I had enjoyed this book more. I was lowkey kinda eh at times :'( I'm such a huge fan of these tropes, and all of them together was going to be perfect, right? Some things I didn't enjoy, while others I did. It was a so-so book, maybe someone else would love it more than I. I hope!

I felt that it could def have needed a third-act breakup or some misunderstanding lmao. The big thing in the book was that they both knew this was temporary, and they were going to separate in three months. When these three months were up, they patched things up so quickly, and that's it. Sometimes I do like books that don't have third-act breakups and the characters resolve everything by talking, but then you have to give me another big issue/problem in the book, because then I'm just... bored, sadly.

This was my first book by this author, so I tried something/someone new! I'm happy I did, I'm always happy to try new authors I find online. Hopefully I get to read another one of her books and I like it more =͟͟͞♡

Did I read the same book as everyone else?? I wasn’t a fan of the writing style but it wasn’t that bad. However there were way too many pop culture references and some of the dialogue was very cringe
The fact that the FMC only told the MMC he had a child after 15months with no valuable reason did not make any sense …
And the MMC was very childish like he couldn’t change diapers cause the smell was bad??? grow up.. (also describing that in a book was useless.. we really don’t care)
Overall I really didn’t see the chemistry between both of the main characters
(everyone seems to have liked this books so maybe I’m the problem)

This was a fun book and I liked all the characters! Hendrix & Raven were good together and their moments with Haddy were adorable! This was an easy read because there was a mix of romance, some sports, spice and good chemistry. But things moved at a very fast pace and there was a lot more of telling rather than showing tbh. And I felt like Hendrix needed some more character development because in the beginning, he was kind of immature and Raven let go off these things too easily. Still, the last half of the book was great and if you want a light-hearted, sweet and fast paced sports romance with a cute baby involved, then this one's for you! I'm giving it 3.75 stars. ✨

This story is an absolute delight! A fun, SPICY, and lighthearted read with just the right touch of drama.





Hendrix was everything I had hoped he would be. Watching him step into fatherhood had not only some great laugh-out-loud moments, but also heartwarming and tender moments. His fierce protectiveness over Raven and Haddy was beautiful and I loved how he took them under his wing, wholeheartedly committing himself to their well being.





While I adored Raven for her fiery spirit and determination to succeed, I have to admit that baby Haddy steals the show. She makes every character around her shine. This author has an incredible talent of crafting children of any age and making them feel real. I will devour anything she writes but the moment I realize a child is involved? I’m ready to cheer!





I cannot recommend this book enough. All of the Bradfords are AMAZING, but there’s just something extra special about Hendrix, Raven and Haddy.

I am honestly going to skip this one. Both MCs are not my favourite kind of MCs.

Hendrix is a manwhore with his BDE* energy.
Raven is the female version of a man(whore).

Hendrix is a filthy mouthed joker.
Raven is a loud storm chaser who is all over the place.

Hendrix wants to be perpetually single.
Raven is a fan of ONS.

Plus the trope, surprise baby, has already been done with Garett and Liv (Book 3 of the series which I absolutely loved) so it's very hard to top that off.

No.. no, no, no. 1. there was absolutely no reason she couldn't tell that man she was pregnant or he was a dad in 15 months! She's besties with his sister. I absolutely don't care that she had morning sickness. she should have sent a text. Why did everyone just accept this? That baby was 5/6 months old before she bothered her ass seeking him out to tell him he's a dad and really she told him so he would marry her so she could get her inheritance. Did no one question if that wasn't an issue would she ever have told him? That's what's fucking gross.

2. The drama over the baby poo and sick was the most immature tripe I have ever read.

3. Actually, it was all just immature.

4. The author couldn't figure out another way to create conflict so we whinged about a dead mum who called fmc fat regularly but fmc is actually some kardashian-Esk bombshell that everyone fancies? And some pointless ex OW (that makes so sense) and OM drama.

I've loved this whole series, and though I'm looking forward to the final Bradford brothers book, I'll be sad to see the series end.

A surprise baby and a marriage of convenience

This has football, a surprise baby, and a marriage of convenience. Raven and Hendrix hook up following a wedding. The story resumes 15 months later when Raven introduces Hendrix to his 6 month old daughter, Haddy. She needs to get married to access her trust fund. What begins as a temporary arrangement quickly evolves into something meaningful as this ad hoc family gets to know and become attached to each other.

Hendrix is the ultimate book boyfriend. He supports Raven, helping to care for Haddy and helping Raven to pursue her career. He also boosts her confidence. (Raven is a full figured woman and has been subjected to a lot of criticism in the past.)

The Way We Collide by Tia Louise is a forced proximity romance that follows meteorologist Raven Gale and tight end Hendrix Bradford.

I usually always love a good surprise baby trope, but sometimes I am a bit iffy about it because the couples jump into a relationship really quickly. But Tia made sure that wasn’t the case here, and gave us a nice little slow burn. She made sure we got to see Haddy, their daughter, and Hendrix bond, which I thought was so cute.

Hendrix did have some questionable moments when it came to his family, but he more than made up for it because he fell hard for Raven. I also loved Raven and her independence surrounding her job and herself.

As always, Tia is the best at writing a good found family trope within a sports romance.

Reading this series is like getting a warm hug. It just gives you the warm and fuzzies in the best way! Now that we are almost done, I reflect on how fun it has been to watch all of the Bradford Boys fall. I was excited to hear about Hendrix since he was the most adamant about not wanting to retire or have a family. Though I didn't know how I was going to feel about a surprise baby vs a surprise pregnancy- I was good with how it played out in this story. I really liked the connection Raven and Hendrix shared- their first hot night was HOT yall. And then they went their separate ways but had been thinking about each other. I enjoyed them then fighting this connection between them after being reunited and now with a baby in tow. It was very cute to watch Hendrix become a dad. I liked the connection that Raven already had with the Bradford girlfriends/wives and how much support everyone gave this couple as they figured things out. I liked the tension between them but I wouldn't necessarily call it angst. It was more just waiting to see who would crack first. These two were great together though- They realized that even though they both wanted to chase their dreams, they could do it together.

Raven decides to go with the flow and have a one night stand with one of her best friend's brothers. She has a connection with him she can't deny. And the night they spend together is pure magic. But then they go their separate ways. They both know long distance wouldn't work, and Hendrix made it clear he is not into long term anything that isn't football. But then Raven finds out she is pregnant and one month leads to another and now here she is back in Newhope looking for Hendrix so she can tell him what is going on. So she can ask for his help in getting her inheritance. They need to be married but it doesn't have to be for long. She wants him to get to know his daughter. This can be a two fold thing. She doesn't want to get in his way at all. She has to remind herself that they can't cross lines. Even if they have already crossed them before. She tends to get attached and he made it clear what he wants. But then the longer she sees him around Haddy, their daughter, the more she realizes how amazing he really is. Sure he may have had this lifestyle before but he has changed. He is a wonderful man and dad. He starts carving out time for them to do things together. He supports Raven in a way she has never experienced. This all just feels so right. So she doesn't fight it anymore. They might as well enjoy this as much as they can since there is a time limit. But is there a time limit anymore? Because one thing that Raven does know is that she doesn't want to leave. She wants this all to be real. She just hopes Hendrix is on the same page.

Hendrix has been watching all of his brothers fall and change their lives for their women. But he is not going to do that. Football is what he loves. Football is his life. That's why he doesn't allow for distractions. Until Raven at his little sister's wedding. They have an amazing night together, but he has his life and she has hers. So they go their separate ways. And then 15 months later she shows up home with a baby in tow that is very clearly his. Now he finds himself back in LA with a wife and a child living with him. He is completely out of his element but finding himself really liking that Raven is in his space. She has laid down the rule that they can't be more than friends which he gets. He really does. But he can't help but want more because he remembers that night they shared. So he respects her space and dives into his game. Into getting to know his daughter. But the more time he spends with Raven the more he can't ignore it anymore. This all feels so different. So right. And when she finally sees that too and they reconnect it is beyond what he remembered. He starts to think about a future. A real one with them here in LA with him. Where she is actually his wife and she really chooses him. He just hopes she sees that too.

I can't believe we are already on book 4 in this series! I liked the cameos we got throughout the book. So much found family and hilarious brotherly and sisterly banter. I loved the hilarity around baby poo because it really can be nuclear. I liked the tease at the end and legit can't WAIT for Jack and Allie. How is that all going to go down? We have been waiting since book 1 for them yall! If you haven't picked up this series I recommend it for some light small town friendly banter reading with some great connections and spice.

I’m honestly not sure where I want to start with this review. I had such high hopes for Raven and Hendrick’s story because all of the other books in this series were phenomenal. But this one just wasn’t as good as the other ones. Don’t get me wrong, I still very much enjoyed it, it just took me longer to read. And I think it was because I kept getting so confused the entire book on how close Raven was with Dylan and all of the other girls from Newhope, but yet never told any of them she was pregnant with Hendrick’s baby until Haddy was almost 6 months old 🤔. That part just didn’t make much sense. Like at all. But I loved everything else about the book. From the connection they had at Dylan’s wedding to them learning how to parent together while Hendrick was playing professional football, it was such a sweet story line and I loved that they got their happily ever after. The banter between the brothers was of course hilarious like always and the same for the girls in the family. I also liked that we got sneak peaks into the couples lives that we have already read books on to see where they are now.

Hendrix and Raven have an unforgettable night at his sister's wedding. Only to get called home 15 months later to a surprise. How he steps up to help Raven, and to get to know his daughter – swoon. These two are so good together. Ok, Jack is it now your turn.

The Bradford brothers are back! And boy are they back! I think Hendrix is now my favourite brother. He’s the biggest reformed playboy. He’s so protective of Raven and Haddy. I really enjoyed this book, I could have read it in one sitting but I didn’t want to rush it. I wanted to enjoy every moment of it, and I did. It was great. Can’t wait for the last book in the series.

Hendrick and Raven’s story was… wow! Truly beautiful. There aren’t many “surprise pregnancy” books that I love as much as the ones that are executed flawlessly, and this one absolutely nailed it. In this case, we don’t see the pregnancy process—we see the result. Raven arrives with a baby in her arms, and for Hendrick, it’s a total shock. He had no idea, but this woman—the one he had been drawn to from the start—comes back into his life with a surprise that changes everything.

I love when a book takes a trope that might seem repetitive and executes it to perfection. When it’s done right, it doesn’t matter how many times we’ve seen the premise before—it still feels captivating from start to finish. And that’s exactly what fascinated me about this book.

First, let’s talk about the baby—what a sweetheart! I completely fell in love with her. She wasn’t just an adorable presence in the story; she also played a key role in strengthening the bond between the protagonists, making their moments together even more special.

Raven is such a strong and determined lead, which I absolutely love. I really appreciated that she never sacrificed her identity, dreams, or career just because she became a mother. Instead, she found a way to balance it all, and most importantly, she had someone by her side to support her when she needed it the most. Seeing her stay true to herself while embracing motherhood was one of my favorite aspects of the book.

Now, let’s talk about Hendrick. I do have some complaints about him—at times, his behavior felt immature, even a little ridiculous. But I understand that this was necessary for his character development. His growth is essential to the story, and as it progresses, we see him slowly realize his mistakes. Thanks to his brothers, he comes to understand that he can be a better man, father, husband, and friend. That transformation is what ultimately makes him a memorable character.

Overall, I absolutely loved this book. If you’re thinking about reading it, do it—you won’t regret it. And now, after finishing it and seeing what’s coming next, I’m beyond excited. Of all the brothers, the one I’m most eager to read about is the last one, and just from the small preview we got, I’m already hooked. So don’t wait—grab this book, read it, and give it all the love it deserves!

the mmc pissed me off

This is a sweet and make you feel good read where the only obstacle for the couple is themselves. We have a reformed playboy mmc, Hendrix, turned dad who enters a marriage of connivence to help the fmc, Raven, be able to access her trust fund. Hendrix’s main focus is football and never goes on a second date. Raven is a strong and independent with a dream of being a meteorologist. They meet when she attends her freind’s wedding and is paired up with Hendrix. They spend the night together and have a hot and spicy time. Fifteen months later Hendrix is getting ready for a new season when he gets a call from his brother to come home. The last person he expected to see is Raven and she’s not alone. She has a baby girl with her. Raven needs his help to access her trust fund, and proposes a marriage of convenience. He wants to know his daughter so he agrees. They fall into a routine taking care of Haddy and both are fighting their attraction to each other. Haddy was an adorable character with her own personality and I loved that she was huge apart of the story. I enjoyed the attention to detail when it came to Hendrix playing football. Raven and Hendrix were wonderful characters you can’t help but fall in love with. Their story does heat up and it is HOT. Hendrix’s family is a rambunctious bunch. I loved the text exchanges between the brothers and Raven and the girls. This is a light-hearted and fast-paced football romance that will have you smiling the whole way through.

Hendrix Bradford, the hunky Tight End, star football player and completely married to his job.. he wants to be a legacy, be an MVP and get a championship ring.. or so he thinks…

Raven and him meet at his sister Dylan’s wedding and spend a hot and heavy night together- and 15 months later she re-enters his life to tell him they have a daughter.. he sears he can’t do dating or being a dad or poopy nappies but within days he’s become a complete natural with his daughter Haddy.

Dylan’s dream of becoming a meteorologist has been put on hold and she has a plan to get her trust fund but she needs Hendrix help. They get married and then split once she’s got it, but as they live together things become to feel more real thank fake.. and Hendrix realises he’s fallen in love with Raven.

Hendrix has thought about Raven a lot over the time they were apart - something that never happens to him, and slowly whilst adjusting to life as a dad he realises he wants his wife and their marriage to be real.
Raven is apprehensive.. she has dreams and doesn’t want to be left on the side line but who is she kidding?? She’s falling for him fast too. Seeing him be a dad only makes that happen faster.

Haddy steals the show as the cutest baby who’s smitten from the off with her daddy… saying dada first despite knowing him weeks and being completely comfortable with him.

This 4th instalment of the Bradford series brings it all! Sexy and spicy moments between Hendrix and Raven, heart felt moments, the brothers group chat, competition from Garrett in relation to who’s a better daddy😆 and who’s kid has done what first, all the txt banter and all the small town vibes.

When Tia writes a book, she definitely puts all the emotions and feelings in it. I wanted this book so badly from the start of the series. I loved Hebdrix from the start. But Tia gave me the best book with all my favorite tropes in one!
This is a small-town, surprise baby, sports romance with a marriage of convenience, close proximity, an over-protective alpha daddy, a feisty plus-sized FMC, and ALL THE FEELS!

Raven and Hendrix have this chemistry that I just loved. And when they get together, you know it is the forever kind of love.
I loved the way Hendrix gets so OTT protective of Raven. The way he loves the game so much that he has tunnel vision until she steps into the frame is perfect.

Aaron Shedlock and Stephanie Kay narrate this one in DUET, and I loved every second of it. The pacing was perfect with these two. I didn't want this audio to end. Aaron is a favorite of mine, and his voice just gets me all giddy. I could listen to his voice for hours! Stephanie does a great job with Raven, and he voice had the perfect octave for the character.
These two bring this book to life that will have you turning up the volume.

I love this series, and I am invested in this family. The way they love and meddle is so sweet.

Is it weird that in a romance the baby might have stolen the show? If it is, I don’t care. Haddy is adorable. But I also adored her parents. Hendrix and his cluelessness combined with his need for his new family made my heart melt. He is the right amount of overprotective with both of his girls and also knew exactly how to meet their needs. And then there is Raven who handles herself with such grace and ease, but has always desired that someone speak up for her too. There are so many tender moments in this book and it secures why I love this family so much.

The Way We Collide was my very first Tia Louise book—and I’m officially obsessed! This story had me smiling, swooning, and completely wrapped up in this little fan family. Hendrix, Raven, and Haddy completely stole my heart.

The marriage of convenience trope was perfection in this book—it hooked me right away. Hendrix’s relationship with Haddy was one of the absolute sweetest parts of the story. Watching him step into his role as a dad, start worrying about things like daycare, and truly bond with her just melted me. Their moments together were so genuine and heartwarming.

I also loved how Hendrix supported Raven without question—he encouraged her to go after her dreams and never once made her feel like she had to choose between love and ambition. He was so protective of her and Haddy, and it made me fall for him even more.

And let’s talk spice—those scenes were chef’s kiss. The shower scene? Yeah, that one’s living rent-free in my head.

Tia Louise nailed the perfect blend of heart, heat, and family. The Bradford family banter and tight-knit love added such a cozy, feel-good vibe to the story. If this is how she writes all her books, I can’t wait to binge the rest!

Months after a night of fun following Hendrix sisters wedding, Raven is back in town with a baby and a proposal of marriage. Have a fake marriage while getting to know his daughter, and Raven will be 6 million richer. It’s a win-win for everyone. But this fake marriage doesn’t take long to feel very REAL.

This book had me laughing out loud one page and completely swooning the next. The tension and spice were perfection.

I loved Raven and Hendrix so much! Hendrix never pretended to be someone he wasn’t. He was always open with his feelings towards Raven. He made her feel confident and sexy and I loved him for that. He stood up for her to her family and supported her dreams.

Raven was so fun. She was smart, knew what she wanted out of life and was an amazing mom. She always encouraged Hendrix while he was navigating being a dad, while trying to balance being one of the best tight ends in football.

I can’t express how much I love this series! The brotherly banter, the girl group, the small town, the side characters. This series has everything! I cannot wait for Jack’s book.

I’ve been straight up obsessed with the Bradford family from the very start! This book only just solidified my love even more! Don’t ask me to pick a favorite sibling, I simply can’t do it. They all have my heart.

Raven and Hendrix’s chemistry was instant from the start. The sparks flew from their very first meeting. But what truly made this book stand out was Raven! She is a confident, curvy FMC who just owns who she is without the usual self-doubt tropes. I adored how S.J. Tilly wrote her with such self-assurance, it felt so refreshing!

And then there’s my man Hendrix. The man who swore off marriage and kids, only to find himself saying ‘I do.’ with a baby in tow. He was a walking, talking green flag, and honestly, I could read about him forever. Even though, like Raven, I don’t know or understand football. Ha!

While this is the third book in the series, you can totally dive in without reading the others at any point. But trust me, getting the full Bradford experience is totally worth it!

I'll be honest I had eye rolls at the beginning of the newest book in The Bradford Boys Series. As the story of Raven and Hendrix went on it definitely had me invested to see how things played out in the end for two career, passionate driven people with a daughter from one night together.

Hendrix was the footballer playboy with a heart of gold, especially when it came to his family. He had his moments with baby Haddy that were pretty funny.

Raven knew what she wanted after years of trying to be molded into an image her mother wanted and it was nice seeing her grow from those moments but still struggle with them when the past crept up a bit. Knowing she can stand up for herself but knowing Hendrix was there supporting her, I just love that.

Like the other books in the series, you get family and friends that are supportive and bring the laughs.

I am happy that I kept reading, it was a good read and I can't wait for the next one!

“If we start sleeping together I’ll get attached” Does have and raising a baby not attached?
Awkward, first night it was kind of cringy to listen to/read she felt like a 16 year old girl, and he had to coax her into it as one would to a virgin and she needs the lights off and argues with him in not a sexy way. Also every book Dylan becomes less likeable, it was horrible the way Dylan told him about his baby and then taking his baby from him was very cringe worthy! I am not a fan of secret baby but I am also not a fan of her complaining about putting her career on hold when it’s her fault she never told about his baby. Raven, the fmc, has a temper tantrum about the child saying dada, when she is the one that kept his child from him. Yet still the author and story still writes her as the victim, Raven actually still thinks after 3 months she will take his baby and move across the country without so much as a fight from him is annoying. She becomes horrible when she suggests using his ex as the excuse for when they divorce as if he would be the bad guy who “cheated”
This book to me is more of a Love Letter before Father and Daughter, with the mother being somewhat of an obstacle! I enjoyed reading Hendrix’s Journey And I loved the Edward and Austin Scene I can’t wait for Jack and Allie’s Story and I enjoyed the four bothers and seeing them from Hendrix pov was interesting! I will be continuing this series because I trust the author however this was not an example of her best work.
