You told me you think I see you as second. I told you I see you as the one. You ain't have to say it, but I could see it was hard for you to believe. My words might've fallen short, but my actions are what you can always count on to show you how I feel. This trip is me showing my love for you. Whatever doubts you have, I'ma bury 'em beneath the sand. I'ma prove to you, Ki, that you're the one and can never be second. Put a n*gga next to a million versions of you, and the original gon' always stands out to me. All you gotta do is let me... let me show my love for you.

Kellz Kimberly 24, fell in love with urban fiction after reading 'Baby Girl' by Jihad. The was only the first of many urban fiction novels she fell in love with. Eventually Kellz took her love for reading it and redirected it to a pen & paper. Dropping her first book in 2014 Kellz Kimberly has been building a name for herself ever since. With 27 books under her belt & 9 of them being Amazon Urban Fiction Number One Best Seller, Kellz Kimberly is just getting started.
She is slowly but surly taking the Urban fiction world over by storm. She recently took home the AAMBC BreakOut Author of The Year award, solidifying her as a force to be reckon with. This is only the start for Kellz Kimberly, she is always working and coming with new material to give readers then same feeling she got when she read her first urban fiction book.
Not only is she an author but she is a publisher as well. She works with her authors to help them pursue their dreams and encourages them to tell their story in a form of another story.
At only 24 she has accomplished a lot but she's nowhere near done with her list of goals. For her writing is so much more than just telling a story. It's about being able to have a reader full in love with a set of characters so much that they feel invested in the book. For her that is the greatest feeling of.
The best way to sum up Kellz Kimberly is 'She Writes, She Grinds, She Slays"
I truly enjoy a few stories in this authors catalog but baby Monaleigh grinds my gears. I really would’ve enjoyed this story more with no Mona cameos. I feel like with her and Divine time passes and opportunities for maturity and development arise but nothing comes of it. Like Mona you a mom now you dealing with heavy stuff and you holding it in so you can “save your own day” when it’s DUMB, like why forcefully struggle when you are surrounded by folks that’s gonna help you or point you in the right direction. I hated Kioni in the first book but by book 3 I liked her and felt bad for sis. IT WAS NO REASON JOHNNY LASTED 85% of this book I’m sorry. Her fear wasn’t substantial enough nor did she do the heavy lifting to overcome those insecurities. I’m glad Devout was exactly as his name implies but I just felt like it was an unnecessarily slow moving cha cha. While I get everyone doesn’t have to forgive I find it ANNOYING when Jodie and Mona agreed to forgive Ki but kept taking little shots at her throughout the story. I also felt felt like the D brothers was a lil too slick at the mouth toward her. I say this cus we have that scene where Divine wants to go and check nana for talking crazy to Drew and it’s like HOLD ONNN YALL been rude and petty with Kioni 4 whole stories but an actual wanna be killer is owed decency? Like nahhh please spare me this BS. I’m glad Mona stopped lying about her feelings but I don’t feel like it’s fair for them to want her to be kind to that girl. She eventually has a heart to heart with Drew but again I don’t like how forgiving she is toward everyone but her aunt.Additionally Divine annoys me at times because he talks about maturity but uses sex as a tool to get his way. Did Mona get a lil fly at the mouth yes BUT why press somebody to express how they feel, yet when they say it in a way you don’t like instead of addressing that you tryna withhold orgasms? Like you and Brim need to freak and get it over with cus yall both clearly get hard for each other lol. Like it’s very easy to see that Mona’s issue is the fact that girl wanted her dead first and then ruined what was left of her marriage, like the fact that you would think you this big prize and the real catch yet you believe her real smoke is the man you think is beneath you like bro THATS TEXT BOOK INSECURITY !!! I can’t really say I enjoyed Jodie this book either, I get protecting yourself but if that was the true intention cutting D’Aire off completely would’ve sufficed. Like to be honest I don’t feel any romance from Jodie and the non jail bird, I prefer Sovereign for her just because it was fresh and new and free of historical issues. Overall the story was good, the sex was cool a lil too frequent to the point where the plot started to suffer cus everyone wanted to be freaky but definitely a solid 3 star read.
I really love this series. It was great being back with these characters and getting to see how they're all doing because I had so many questions at the end of Catch My Love. So getting a peek at Devine and Mo after the "happily ever after" felt good. Seeing they aren't as perfect as everyone thinks they are and are going through normal couples growing pains was so realistic. On the flip side, you have Devout and Kioni, and what I love about Kellz is her ability to write complex characters because I really wanted to strangle Kioni. Like, I seriously wanted Devout to leave her confused self alone, but I also found myself rooting for her to get her happiness too. Devout continued to probe that, just like his twin, he was that ninja. Now on the subject of D'Aire and Jodie, all I will say is we need another book because, while I appreciate his growth, I know that Kellz didn't play on my boo Sovereign's top like this!
Devout knew he wanted Ki and wasn’t gonna stop until he got her! I love that we got more of Mo and Divine. Their love is really swoon worthy. I still don’t care for Drew, it’s the attempted killing for me. It’s not really fair that Mo has to set aside her feelings. It’s almost a deal breaker actually…
Kioni exhausted me the whole book. 😭 but I love her! She was a deeply insecure woman who just wanted to be loved and accepted by those around her. Devout was HILARIOUS 🤣😫 but I have a thing for unhinged men 🤷🏾♀️ the way they did Johnny was unnecessary but very hilarious I can’t lie 💀 I’m glad her and Devout FINALLY got on the same page and idk if there story will ever continue but I hope that if it does, we can see Ki start the process of loving herself deeper, maybe with some therapy? I loved how Devout made her a book bouquet. Hacking her kindle lol and actually paying attention to her likes is my kinda man *swoons* 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
D’Aire and Jodie also exhausted me lol. And the jail bae cameo was so random. I know they met through Jodie’s assistant, but that part of the storyline in this book felt kind of unnecessary. Even his POV was.
Drew… I feel bad for Drew lowkey. She accidentally became a side chick and had a side baby and she still kinda loves Brim’s raggedy tail. Idk if she’ll ever get her own story but I want her to meet somebody new and get that real chance at true love that her parents and her own choices robbed her of. And I agree, ain’t no way in hell that she shoulda went on that trip. 💀 like girl… but I get it.
Mo and Divine… I like that this story showed the struggles of being together post baby. Happy that Mo is seriously pursuing her music career while trying to balance motherhood. Happy that her and Divine will always catch each other’s gazes and the love from infinity ♾️ to infinity ♾️ 💙 they aren’t perfect but their love is.
This series had me glued to my couch all weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it!
This book continues the saga of Mo, Divine, Devout, and Ki, pulling together Jodie and D’Aire, Drew, Nana Remy and Mama Jerricka. Mo and Divine still have their ups and downs, but their story finally reaches a satisfying engagement. Devout and Ki’s relationship is clearly being positioned as the new centerpiece, though this book felt more like a setup than a full love story for them. Jodie and D’Aire’s drama toward the end adds more threads to follow, and Kellz definitely knows how to keep me hooked.
But I have to be honest here… the typos were everywhere, and this time they pulled me out of the story more than ever before. With a named editor on this book, I expected better. It’s disappointing when the writing doesn’t get the polish it deserves, especially because the characters and storylines are strong enough to carry so much weight.
If I could give half stars, this would be a 3.5. I’m rounding up to 4 out of respect for the way Kellz continues to pull me deep into these stories. But the editing is holding these books back.
I fkn love Devout!!!! Don't get me wrong, Divine is my boo and I'd catch anything he'd request but that damn Devout is a fool with it plus he nasty nasty. I was so glad when Kioni stop running from him because she was only wasting her own time and energy running. He would pull up and pop up when he felt like it. Poor Johnny really didn't stand a chance. I know Mo is happy with Divine and doesn't want Brim but it's something in my spirit that doesn't want him and Drew together. I'm all for second chances but they don't deserve to be happy together. Let them find someone else. This book was better than I could have imagined. I loved every part of it and can't wait to see what's next.💛💛
I’m never exactly sure how I feel about the series. I enjoy a good long read but at times it felt like the autor was just making space to keep the book going. I enjoy Mo and Divine mostly, kioni has grown on me and her relationship. But I am not sure about Jodi and De’aire. I guess we’ll see what happens in the next book. However I hope this doesn’t become a never ending series, when do we get to happily ever after ?
Sis! Kellz! Once again, bravo! Show my love for you was everything I waited for. I needed my Devout-Kioni fix and I really loved the chase. Such a beautiful love story. I NEED THE JODIE-DAIRE-SOVEREIGN saga next. We also need the extravagant wedding of Mo and Divine, also the possible pregnancy of Mo in the next book. You eluded to it so I’m holding you to it lol! I’ll be waiting sis!
This series did not disappoint at all!!…Mo’s heart was a very generous on and everything about her screamed I’m down for you and I’m with you because I love you!!!…To work on being around Drew after she tried to kill her was BIG!!!… I happy for all the couples and smiles almost through the entire end of the book!!!… I hope there is a book about Rippa because I want him to have his HEA!!!… Divine at his purest form spk true and pure love!!!…
I was so excited for this book and it lived up to every last one of my expectations. I needed the update on Divine and Mo but but especially Kioni and Devout. She frustrated me so bad but I’m glad she got it together. I’m happy to see that D’Aire and Jodie trying. I still don’t like Drew, but I understand her more. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Whew chile this was an amazing series. You had me at "catch my gaze" this was well worth thread and I can't wait to see you have in store for us next.. good job Kellz Kimberly ❤❤
I don’t know how I feel about this book! It was a good read, but I don’t know if I was just tired of the storyline or the fact of how the relationship dragged between Ki and Devout. I was truly over it
Omg this series was everything for me. Each brother was different but loved hard the same. I didn't think devoult and ki would get it together but baby that restaurant scene had me dying how they did poor johnny lol. Then he had all his siblings in on it was hilarious.
I love the way everything came together in this book. There was a lot to be hashed out in order to move forward. I enjoyed this one. Much shorter than the other installments but it was still a good read. Had all the drama, laughter and love.
Devouttttttttt on gosh he's my favorite love the crew I hope Jodie and daire get it together. Great read, would love to get an update on kysen and ishani
