Eine Regenbogennymphe versteckt geheime Botschaften in ihren Regenbögen. Kurz darauf wird sie ermordet.
Was waren die Botschaften in diesen Regenbögen?

April Fernsby lives in the north of England in a county called Yorkshire. Yorkshire has its fair share of hauntings and supernatural events, including a witch called Mary Bateman, aka The Yorkshire Witch, whose skeleton now hangs in a local museum.
April loves all things supernatural and mysterious. Her favourite book as a child was ‘The Faraway Tree’ as it took the reader into a different world where unusual creatures lived. April looked for a similar tree near her house but never found it.
Her Brimstone Witch series involves the main character, Cassia Winter, going through a cellar door and into another world where magical creatures live, and mysteries abound.
Death Of A Rainbow Nymph (A Brimstone Witch Mystery Book 8) by April Fernsby is one of the better ones in the series. It is a cozy mystery about a witch and her cat that handles crimes in a hidden world that is strictly for magical beings. This time the problem is a death of a Rainbow Nymph. Cassie, the Justice Witch and her cat, must figure out what happened and solve the case. These are always cute stories and have wonderful characters. Good clean fun and love the cats!
Just when I thought this series had gotten good... What did I just read? The second half of it was completely exasperating. During the whole series, we have seen Cassia and Stanley being inseparable best friends, and just because Stanley said something awful it was somehow all a lie. Really? And Cassia believed it? I can't. Besides that, we have heard how Blythe and Grandma had told Cassia they are there for her, and when she finds herself in a hard position not once did she think about asking for help from outsiders. Seven books of Cassia and Stanley making friends, seven books of Blythe telling Cassia she's there to help, seven books of Cassia saying how she can always trust her grandma, and when the moment comes not once did the thought reach her head. Not once did it occur to her that there were other people. She had to nearly die to "discover" that. And the end. It resolved so easily supposedly thanks to the magic of "friendship". Where was that love when it all began? No, it needed to happen at the end for "emotive" purposes. I hated this book. There were some good parts like the mystery itself and the newly introduced characters, but overall I didn't like it. Almost DNF but there are still 5 more books in the series and I'm stubborn and I still want to believe this isn't a lost cause.

I believe this is the third book in the series that I've read. This isn't my favorite paranormal series but they are interesting enough for me to keep reading (and to read the last book I've purchase in the series). I've missed a few books in this series but I don't really have any plans to go back and read them.
This time, we find Cassia investigating the death of a rainbow nymph. Previously, Cassia's grandmother had seen a grey rainbow and Cassia went off to the Enchanted Forest to see what was going on. While she meets the nymph who created this grey rainbow, she's also the nymph that is found murdered.
I consider these books a very light read but I will admit that what's really keeping me reading is Cassia's familiar Stanley because I love cats.
When an enchanted forest Nymph gets murdered, Cassia and Stanley are off again. But the stakes are even higher than with past investigations. Not only is her life in danger but the love of her life and her best friend also. Is she going to lose them, or will she work out the problem in time? This murder mystery has love written all over it, but is this love real? Dive right in ... You'll be pleasantly surprised. Excellently written and a credit to the series! On to the next!
A gem! A strange rainbow has her, her cat and her new boyfriend off to investigate. The Enchanted Forest is beautiful but hidden in the beauty is an undercurrent of evil. Why is everyone arguing, including Mother Nature. Take a rainbow nymph, a cupid, elves, magical paint and mix for a great read. Alright so the culprit was my No 1 choice from the start but the story is well woven that it really didn't matter. Great to meet up with the characters we have gotten to know so well.
I’ve given this series 5 stars. I gave this because the stories were engaging and well written for the genre. I don’t feel that I should judge this work against a work of Hemingway. It would be unfair. But against other authors in the same genre, I enjoyed the stories, I liked the characters. I hated those I should hate and I felt good at the end. And I don’t think I should need to defend how I rated these. It is my option after all. Enjoy!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Darkness has invaded the Enchanted Forest, leaving the justice witch alone to find the killer before it's too late. The story and characters were intriguing and engaging. This book might be the best of the series so far. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading.
Brimstone is brimming with all kinds of characters and right there in the middle are Cassia and her familiar Stanley. This book is a great mystery with witches, nymph and everything in between. Its funny and entertaining and I'm continuing with more books in the series
This has been one of my favorite series! Cassia and Stanley are a force to be reckoned with and each adventure (and subsequent murder) reveal the strength of their characters. April Fernsby is a truly talented writer and worth following
Cassia and Stanley go through their hardest case yet! Things are off in the Enchanted Forest! Have you met Cupid? Well, you will. A very interesting mystery!
The writing style is getting better but oh me oh my that girlie babbling between her and her cat is hitting my last nerve youd think they were an interbreed couple
This story had some heartbreaking moments in it. The last 3 have tugged at my heartstrings. As I binge this series I find myself caring more and more about these characters.
I can’t say how much I enjoyed this read - I love how each story incorporates a new supernatural being and their home - its flows great and it’s a great cozy read
Kindle Unlimited, either missed freebie day or hasn't had one yet, so ku it is; read all the other ones type thing so just saying. Note the list of books at the very end, as it includes all the individual and sets of books as well as the one side story that sometimes isn't listed. The somewhat minor thing I noticed is why, if the doctor or whatever else thought she'd lost her magic, did they think the butterflies showed up when needed for her?
A rainbow nymph puts secret messages in her rainbows. She is murdered soon after. What were the messages in those rainbows? And who saw them? Justice witch, Cassia Winter, investigates the crime with help from her cat, Stanley. The murder took place in the Enchanted Forest and Cassia’s list of suspects includes an assortment of elves, Mother Nature and even another witch. As the investigation progresses, Cassia suffers a personal blow. Not only does she have to find the killer, she has to deal with her own crippling feelings of loss. A puzzling mystery with a dramatic ending.
NOTE: the 3 sets START with #2 book, might try to find time to re-read them, there is something 'off' so only a 4 but want to pinpoint reason.

Wonderful fun and clever mystery. I definitely think that I have found my new favorite author. I absolutely love these books!! Characters you truly come to care for set in a world just outside the cellar door. Good mysteries filled with great humor. I can't wait to read more!!
