Mr. Randy Hain is founder and president of Serviam Partners (www.serviampartners.com) in Atlanta and actively serves on a number of non-profit boards in the Atlanta community. He is the Senior Editor for The Integrated Catholic Life eMagazine which he co-founded with Deacon Mike Bickerstaff in 2010. Randy is a co-founder of the Annual Atlanta Catholic Business Conference, the Catholic Business Cafe and leads the St. Peter Chanel Business Association (Faith at Work) Ministry.

Randy is a prolific writer and frequent presenter on a number of topics including faith, family, integration, leadership and human capital.

Looking for more books by this author. Wonderful short biographies of how to live an authentic Catholic faith in everyday life, with thought provoking questions for reflection at the end of each chapter. Thankful for the information on how faith and joy work together.

I think I’ve read all of Randy Hain’s books. And they’re good. But this, this is something different and much, much, MUCH better. (And I told Randy so.)

I have never had tears in my eyes reading a Randy Hain book, but within ten pages, I had them coursing down my face. Don’t start thinking this is a tear-jerker, emo-job, though, because it’s not. It’s a tender and heartfelt series of insights.

In this book, Hain has done something unescapably brilliant: he’s gathered everyday heroes and highlighted their saintly efforts. This book isn’t just inspiring drivel: it’s full of practical tips that even slackers like me can apply. You’re going to find yourself unable to not be changed by the incredible stories, the heartwarming examples, and the down-to-earth advice. Even better, you’ll be motivated to get off your couch and DO something!

In a society where celebrities are the gods we worship, no matter what kind of people they are, or what awful things they do, it is easy to lose hope in humanity. It is good to read about "regular" people who really are making a difference in the world, and who believe they are here to serve God and mankind. This is a collection of portraits of every day people, who have done beautiful things with their talents and faith. Randy Hain put their deeds and philosophies in a book that is straightforward, and let's us get a glimpse of what makes a true celebrity in God's eyes.
