All the hearts. I loved how the characters chemistry was so strong and i was here for all of it. it's how two people can help each other heal in the best possible way and fall in love at the same time. Such a heartwarming read with an ending you'll love.

“One Night Only” follows bad boy David Wells and reporter Carla Ray on tour. It’s a classic rock n roll romance with an easy pace and likable leads. I felt David’s pain as he discovers himself and falls for Carla. There’s a good amount of spice that keeps the story engaging without being too over the top. Wren does a great job of crafting the world in a way that will keep readers engaged.

For me, One Night Only was a very sweet love adventure that, like most immediate infatuations, may not turn into forever love, but the ride is unforgettable. Wren develops her characters so they feel real and relatable, and the story is intriguing. In the book, Carla Ray, a college journalist, takes on an exciting assignment to cover a notable band called the Knights of Darkness. The band’s frontman, David Wells, is dangerous, handsome, and captivating - he also has some secrets. Who wouldn’t be attracted to him? Following the band through late-night rehearsals and shows, Carla finds herself more and more drawn to David. As the allure deepens, she hopes for healing and connection, but with such different lives, can it really last beyond passion? I couldn’t help but root for them both to find lasting love because the raw emotion is definitely there. If you’re into rock bands, instant-attraction romance, and a touch of spice, this book is right up your alley!

At first glance, it seems that One Night Only is going to be like any other rock and roll band story. Yes, it has the stereotypical sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll, but Ms. Wren finds a way to make it unique and her own. It has lots of emotions, taking the reader through the euphoric highs and lows of the storyline, similar to those felt by a drug. But this drug, One Night Only, is a safe drug, similar to the safety that Carla and Ray crave. The book was well-written and paced. The character development excellent and Wren takes us deeper into what drives the main characters. There are some interesting side characters, including the devious Reign, the character you will love to hate. My favorite was the ever-loyal Charlie. I enjoyed this story, and I hope you will too.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Carla and David. Carla is a senior in college and works for the college paper. David is the lead singer for the Knights of Darkness. Carla’s boss at the paper calls her in to an interview on the band. She goes to do the story. At the end of the concert, a guard comes and gets her to the interview. She interviews David. Two months later her boss tells her Rolling Stones wants her to tour with the band for several weeks and do a story about the band, she agrees. During this time they fall in love.

This read was so delightful and spicy! This is the perfect lazy day read--so easy to digest and the characters are *chef's kiss*. The author beautifully depicted a love that heals. David and Carla are characters that are written so realistically and passionately, that I wanted to be their friends and know everything about their lives--however dark.

This book portrays what love truly means so well. To be there for each other even when it's difficult, when it's not all sunshine and roses. Carla and David are so realistic, and the love that grows between them is raw and relatable. This story is inspiring, and as a girl who has grown up looking at rockstars as a symbol of everything crush-worthy, I was hooked from the start.
