When Niccolò Silvestri broke my heart three years ago, I swore I’d never speak to him again. But he’s back, and he’s prepared to do anything to reclaim me as his.
Growing up as the daughter of a don, I always knew I’d have to enter an arranged marriage. After meeting Nicco, I thought my fate would go another way, then it was all ripped right out from under me—by him.
Nicco might have been the love of my life in college, but I’ve changed since then. I’m no longer the naive girl who will do anything for him.
My brother, the head of our family, forbade Nicco from coming near me, but he’s persistent, showing up everywhere I go.
Stubborn to a fault, I vow to never again open my heart up to the man who broke it, because in the end, there’s no world where Nicco and I could ever have the future I’ve dreamed of. Not when his family destroyed mine.
However, when secrets are revealed, will I turn my back on the only man I’ve ever truly loved, or go against everything I know and give him a second chance?
Isabella is a dual POV mafia romance with mature themes, profanity, and open-door spice.
***Please note all books in the DiMaggio Crime Family series are standalones; however, they are best read in consecutive order due to the interconnected mafia subplot. Each book follows a different couple and has a guaranteed happily ever after.
T. Priceton is an indie author who writes contemporary and "diet" Mafia romance with feisty heroines and alpha men. Suspense and darker elements are a favorite of hers and you're bound to find both in her books. But, don't worry, she offsets the dark with lighthearted banter and humor between characters.
She currently lives in Colorado with her husband and kids. When she isn't writing, you can find her reading a romance novel, eating an açaí bowl, or binge watching a reality show.
isabelle gave in too easily!! DUMB STUPID HOE!! Wdym u accepted his facetime call?? Wdym u let him eat you out while ure on a date w someone else? THIS AFTER SEEING HIM WITH THE GIRL HE LEFT U FOR
This girl gave in too easily. i know its a second chance romance, but let the man grovel before letting ur defenses down!! STUPID HOE
T did it again, she wrote another masterpiece. I was already in love with the first book, but this one made me fall even harder.
“She’s mine. She was always supposed to be mine.”
This book had all the feels! Heartbreak was definitely one of them. These two went through a lot, and by a lot, I mean betrayal, hatred, and secrets. Isabella is such a fierce character. I loved her in the first book, she was a mystery and now, in her book, so much about her past comes to light. Her relationship with her brothers is so wholesome, especially with Enzo. The bickering between them was hilarious. And her friendship with Lux and Liana? I loved it!! 🥹
“I seem to remember you used to like it when I got on my knees for you, Isabella.”
Niccolò, OH BOY. Why is every man in these books are scorching HOT? Let me start by saying he has such a dirty mouth on him. Beg and grovel he did. Pretty sure Isa loved him on his knees. 🤭 I can’t wait to read Enzo’s story and see what’s next! T has an incredible way of pulling readers into her world and making us devour her books in one sitting.
nothing special or new same old i had to break your heart to protect you when i could have easily communicated with you nonsense. the trope itself isn't bad even if it's soooo overused, it's that most authors don't actually get creative with it or adds something unique, they all write the same old thing.
safety: - safe/ unsafe due to scene with ow - no cheating - both celibate during seperation , she was too much of a doormat to actually move on owd : he gets his friend's cousin to cuddle with him and kiss him to break fmc's heart and it's on page where he's shirtless and ow is lying on his chest and kissing him omd : she goes on ONE date but nothing happens because mmc crashed it
Nico and Izzy met and dated in college until his dad who killed her parents asked him or drop her, so he opted for breaking her heart and making it seem like he was with a new girl who's his friend's cousin. he got the girl to get into bed with him and cuddle on his chest when Izzy video called him, he said a bunch of humiliating and hurting things. fast forward 3 years later he decides to get her back and would not leave her alone, he didn't grovel because in his book he did nothing wrong and did what he had to do to protect her. anyways trying to get her to forgive him was short, 50% and she was in his arms again. we got alot of useless flashback chapters to their dating years in uni, we got 2 flashback chapters of Izzy's pov to seeing him with ow, yet none of his. i'd have liked to see his pov of when he was cuddling with ow to see how it was done, because i don't understand how the ow was there in the first place since izzy called unannounced, why would his friend's cousin be already in his bed while he was sleeping?
3 years later he was still hanging out with ow, why was he having lunch with the woman he used to break his girl's heart while he was trying to get her back?? the ow doesn't cause issues apart from what he asked her to do except the lunch scene 3 years later and the fmc sees them, but i still could never like a woman who agreed to hurt another woman like that
I love mafia romance, and I've had my eye on this author's book for a while now. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It has everything I adore in a mafia romance—tension, some action, and suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The romance between the main characters is sweet, passionate, and at times, a bit emotional.
Isabella, or Izzy, first meets Niccolo at his mom’s funeral when they were just kids. From that moment, Nicco never forgets the kindness she showed him. Fast forward to college, and they reconnect and start dating! But things take a turn when Nicco suddenly ends their relationship, breaking Izzy’s heart. Three years later, he’s back and eager to win her heart again!
Izzy is a mafia princess, but unlike many in her world, she was raised with love from her parents and brothers. Even after Nicco broke her heart, she doesn’t let it bring her down. I admired how she stood her ground when Nicco wanted to rekindle things. She knows what she deserves and isn’t afraid to be honest about her feelings. Plus, her relationship with her brothers, Lux and Liana, is fantastic—they’re always there to support her no matter what!
As for Nicco, he’s the next in line to be the leader of his family. His dad raised him to be tough and cold, but Nicco is quite the opposite—smart, protective, and caring. What stood out to me was how unwavering his love for Izzy was. He knows he has to apologize and work to win her back, and he does just that! He’s respectful of her space but also proves he’s not giving up on their love. The honesty he shows her, sharing everything openly, really adds to their connection.
Izzy and Nicco’s journey isn’t easy—they face struggles and heartbreak along the way to their happy ending. Their love story is so beautiful and pure, and I cheered for them throughout. I’m also super excited about the premise for the next book; it sounds intriguing, and I have a feeling I’ll love it just as much if not more!
Going into this book I was a little salty the second book in the series wasn’t about the love of my life Enzo… I wasn’t sure I’d care about female character because let’s face it I’m a perv and love swooooooning over my mafia men, HOWEVER T. Priceton delivered it ALL! Izzy was wildly fierce and funny. The way she made this man grovel for what he wanted was just what I needed in my FMC! There was no skimpage (not a word but should be) on spice, and the plot kept me engaged throughout! The way the romance blossomed on the page from what seemed an unrecoverable relationship was top fucking tier. The ending of the book gave a little hint of what is coming up next in the series and if I had balls they would be bluer than Nicco’s after the Matteo confrontation scene. Well done T, I am so freaking proud of you and you deserve all the success in the world. Your books are treasures!
Isabella is the second in the DiMaggio Crime Family series and an interconnected standalone. I absolutely loved this story and the DiMaggio family. I would describe this as a mafia light second chance romance. There are dark elements but it doesn’t read as a dark romance to me. Isabella is a freshmen at college when she meets Nico, a senior, one night at a club. There was instant chemistry A year and half later, Nico suddenly breaks things off with Isabella in the most brutal and emotionally damaging way. Their story picks up three years later when Nico returns and takes an opportunity to get her back. There’s more heartbreak and secrets are revealed by both of them. He does all he can to get her back, like getting a new burner phone every time she blocked him. It was great to see Isabella stand up for herself and not immediately fall back into Nico’s arms. We got some great groveling and actual communication. If you enjoy your mafia men possessive but vulnerable and your romance sweet and spicy, this is the book for you.
Thank you to T. Priceton for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Isabella.

Second chance, mafia rival families romance. Not enough grovel for me, and a little too back and forth. But a fun quick read.
Isabella is the sister of the mafia don, Matteo (see book one in the series for his story). Protected, shielded from their world as much as possible. But years before, she had a secret relationship with the son of a rival mafia don that ended with absolute heartbreak. With him being away in Italy for the past couple years, she’s been slowly mending from how badly he broke her heart. But now, Nicco is back - and his only mission is to get Isabella back, and permanently. But the bad blood between the families has gotten so much worse since Niccos dad is responsible for Izzy losing both her parents. So not only is she forbidden from even seeing him, she currently wants nothing to do with him. But when he tries to explain what really happened those years ago, and how he wants her back - will it be enough to bridge the gap between them and their families?
This is now my favorite book . Isabella is the best I definitely was happy she got her own book cause I loved every minute reading from her past to present including Nicco as well .
The flashbacks on how everything went down and afterwards the heartache 💔.
Then having lux be the best sister inlaw love the bond the women had with eachother. Especially Char she such a great mother figure .
Liana is the best ever !!!! I was bit mad at nicco in early chapters but I guess I understand his reasoning.
The spicy chapters had me going wild but for me my fav chapter is 49 and 52
I fell in love with T. Priceton’s writing after reading her debut Matteo, so I couldn’t wait to dive back into the world of the DiMaggio crime family, and wow, it was worth the wait. This book delivers a rollercoaster of emotions: heartbreak, betrayal, secrets, and, above all, love.
The writing is mesmeric. You feel every emotion the characters go through: anger, heartbreak, joy, hope. One minute I was crying, the next laughing out loud, and then suddenly blushing at the spice, which is an absolute chef’s kiss. It’s the perfect blend of romance, heat, and suspense. I genuinely couldn’t put it down.
While I thought Matteo had my heart, Isabella and Niccolò completely stole the show.
Isabella is everything I want in a strong female lead: fierce, funny, and vulnerable but never weak. She made Niccolò work for her forgiveness with grace and control. T. Priceton is the first author to make me fall in love with a strong female lead who isn’t just tough, but deeply human. Her relationship with her brothers is heartwarming and hilarious, and her bond with Lux and Liana is pure found-family perfection.
Niccolò is swoon-worthy, raised in the ruthless mafia world, yet patient, protective, and utterly devoted to Isabella. The way he fought for her, respected her boundaries, and remembered even the smallest details about her was everything. That filthy mouth of his? Whew.
We also get to revisit characters from Matteo, and there’s even a juicy little tease of what’s to come in the next book. Yes, Enzo, I’m looking at you!
T. Priceton has firmly cemented herself as a must-read for any mafia romance fan. And if I could rate this book higher than five stars, it would be a full ten.
book started off by pulling you in with the sneaking around flash backs and the angst from the present. i am down for a second chance romance and for a man to grovel, but once we got to 30% she forgave a little too soon for me, and him having that girl around him after using her to break her heart is DIABOLICAL.
there was a lot of “spice”, it gave that it was written by a 14 yr old on wattpad, it just wasn’t serving for me.
also not to mention the constant repetition and bringing up of the past even though they constantly said “let’s move on”.
overall was not feeling impressed and book felt dull.

✨ARC REVIEW✨ 🩷ISABELLA by T. Priceton🩷 • An absolute masterpiece—
That's it... Jk read below -
Isabella grabs you from the very first page and refuses to let go. T. Priceton’s writing is immersive, powerful, and full of emotion, making it impossible to put this book down. I laughed, I cried, I felt happiness, sadness, and anger all at once. Few books have ever made me feel so deeply, and Isabella is now that top book!
Isabella’s story is unique and heartfelt, filled with moments of strength, vulnerability, and raw emotion, I truly felt like I was in the book with her. Her story is one that will break your heart and then carefully piece it back together again. She is a character you will fall in love with and never stop loving.
And then there’s Niccolo—everything you could ever want in an MMC. He’s swoony, protective, and completely obsessed with Isabella in the best way possible. His devotion, passion, and the way he loves so fiercely make him unforgettable.
Every interaction between Izzy and Nicco is electric, and their chemistry is undeniable.🔥 • • To T, I am forever grateful to be part of your journey and beyond honored to be a permanent member of your street team. Matteo, and now Isabella, will be books I hold close to my heart and will never let go. I can't wait to see what is next from you!
Quote: “I can’t speak on your family affairs, but I will say this-things that are meant to be, will always find a way to work themselves out. Even when it seems all factors are working against you.”
Isabella a mafia princess and Nicco a don from the opposite family - they meet at college, fall in love while keeping their relationship hidden from most everyone. But after a few years Nicco dumps her saying he will be marrying someone else and breaks her heart but sometimes not everything is as it seems in this world. Three years later he is back in her life fighting to win her back and explain everything to her but she doesn’t know if she can ever forgive him. Her brothers won’t accept her dating him, his father wants her dead - can they survive all of this and be together?
This is definitely a book that will stay with me forever! Not only is it adventurous and dark with the mafia aspects, but it's beautiful, full of love, forgiveness and second chances. Full of finding yourself in the times you may not be sure how to move forward.
The finer details in this book keep me engaged and flipping the pages ready for more! Isabella is one of my favorite FMC's I've read to date tbh. The way she stands strong in her relationships with not only her family, but her friends and the people she loves. Her willingness to open her heart after being hurt, she had me crying with her and rooting for her journey!
And Niccolò Silvestri... THIS MAN. He really had me riled up! He is literally everything, a boss ass mafia man, a man willing and ready to do anything for the woman he loves. His simp energy had me on my knees and feral for him just like he is for our girl Izzy! I couldn't get enough. Had me eating out the palm of his hand!
The chemistry and connection between these characters is amazing! And I LOVED getting so many moments with our OG characters from Matteo as well! Just everything about it is 🤌🏼💋.
I don't even think I can express how emotionally evocative this book is! You're about to go on a whole ride, and enjoy every second of it! This world, and these characters will have you begging for more crumbs once you're finished!
I'll be here, impatiently waiting for Enzo's story next! 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️ Thank you T for all the work you put into this art! Your passion for this explodes off the page and I'll forever read anything you write! 💛
Have you ever read a book that consumed your soul?
This book is a roller coaster of emotions, it will make you sob, and laugh, it will make you angry, and warm your heart. It's the perfect balance of romance, humor, spice and suspense.
Isabella & Nicco's story is angsty, explosive, and beautiful. It's about endless love, forgiveness, and second chances.
Isabella is so relatable, that you will feel a connection with her instantly. She is so strong and fierce. I lost count of how many times I cried with her, I felt her pain like it was my own.
Nicco is the most swoony man I've ever seen in my life, this man is everything! He was protective, possessive, and caring. His love for Isabella was unbounded. The mouth of this man was filthy and delicious. His grovel was *chef's kiss, perfection!
You will fall in love with Isabella & Nicco like me.
This book is captivating, beautifully written, emotional, page-turning, and unforgettable! This story will stay with you long after finishing the book.
The characters felt so real, I was completely invested in their lives.
This book will stay with me forever, it will be one of those books that I will think about at least once a week.
T, I have no words! Your writing is so unique, addictive, captivating, beautifully executed, and evokes so much emotion. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
ARC REVIEW this book ripped out my heart, stomped it into the ground, and put it back together all in one sitting!!! I absolutely LOVE Isabella and Nicco’s story and am still swooning over him. I literally couldn’t put this book down and read over 50% of the book in one sitting while staying up until 1 am!! THATS how good this book is! Initially going into this book I was absolutely so excited and had an idea of what I thought would happen, but that got blown out of the water in the best way possible. Isabella is absolutely so strong from everything she has been through and honestly I just love her character so much. I absolutley love how Isabella made him work for her and to be back in her life. That man groveled and groveled HARD!! The way he fought for her, was so attentive to her, and literally just understood her is what I want my future man to be like. I mean this man literally remembered everything about her, decorated his home in a way he knew she would like, and literally fought for her every chance he got. I’m honestly so in love with Nicco it’s insane. I absolutely loved their relationship and can’t get over the major chemistry that they have. I mean the spice between them was literally phenomenal and I could literally feel the love they have for one another. This book was absolutely everything and I can’t wait to finally get Enzo’s story!!!!
This was a great follow up to Matteo. Slow burn romance with drama, complications, lies and secrets and twists and turns at the end. With the ending of Matteo depicting a very awkward and surprising exchange of words between Nicco and Izzy, it was fitting to get to the explanation.
Love Isabella! She is a young, beautiful and talented Designer. Very refreshing to see how she grows up and lives the college life and experiences love! Their relationship is very swoon worthy and complicated. A very forbidden love, friends to lovers trope.
I enjoyed watching Nicco grow up and explain his side of things within the Mafia, and how those altercations developed between the families and with his dad. He is much more romantic and kind hearted than Matteo first came off as.
Cliffhanger surprise at the end with a small intro to what book 3 is about and I am ready for that one for sure!!!
10stars !!!! Ms. T u did it again !!! I thought Matteo was amazing but no - Isabella was SPECTACULAR!! Niccolò and Isabella were so incredible since the absolute beginning!!!! End game all the damn way !!! Ok maybe aside for that one time I wanted to smack him but still END GAME !!! They love fierce and whole heartedly!!! Ughh this was just as good if not BETTER than Matteo - sorry Matteo and Lux I still love yall too !! lol soo good !!! Now— ENZOOO 👀 ur up next !
*giddy twirls* what a love story!! Lace in the mafia stuff I love and complicated feelings! Phew you’ve got yourself a whirlwind. Who doesn’t love fiercely and having to distract attention to protect what’s most precious to you! ❤️ I think I enjoyed her story a bit more than Matteo’s! Let’s see what book 3, Enzo, has in store for us!
This book truly shows how much of a diverse author T. Priceton really is! Matteo was full of jokes and quips and made you fall in love with Matteo and Lux but Isabella is full of deep emotions. Emotions that make your heart drop to your stomach and fill you with emotions so deep you forgot they were there! Isabella and Nicco have been through more then some couples ever go through and still at the end of the day they fight for each other! My whole heart is with these characters!❤️
I don't know which I loved more, this or Matteo. Either way, this series is becoming a favorite! I definitely recommend for all my friends who love Mafia romances!!
*Isabella* is a gripping blend of emotional angst, forbidden love, and mafia family drama. Isabella, the fierce daughter of a don, is determined to keep her heart guarded from Niccolò Silvestri—the man who broke it three years ago. But when Nicco comes back, relentless and still in love, sparks fly and secrets unravel.
I actually had pretty high hopes for this one. The glimpse we got in the previous book had really intrigued me, and I was looking forward to their story. Unfortunately, it ended up falling a bit flat for me.
I liked Isabella at the beginning, but after a point, her character started to lose me. I appreciated that Nicco didn’t give up on her, but the way their breakup was done and how they came back together just didn’t quite work for me. There was not enough groveling, and she forgave him a little too quickly for it to feel satisfying.
The plot didn’t bring anything particularly fresh and felt a bit repetitive in places.
Also, I have to admit I’m starting to get a little tired of seeing the same few names used for main characters. I’d love to see a bit more variety there. Pleaseeeee....
“I need Isabella the way I need air to breathe. I need her to give me life.”
I loved Matteo… but I loved Isabella more. This was an immediate 5 star read for me the moment Niccolò opened his mouth to speak to Isabella. Their love was beautifully expressed and well-written. T. Priceton exceeded all expectations that I had for this book and I’m so beyond excited to see all that this amazing author has in store for us.
The spice scenes had me in a chokehold. 🌶️ “I seem to remember you used to like it when I got on my knees for you, Isabella.”
I loved how supportive Nicco was towards Izzy.
“I promise, I will always be there to support you. I’ll be the one who lifts you up when you’re feeling down. The one who’ll never let you give up on yourself. I know you’re going to go far…”
Of course Nicco had to make it to my fictional lovers list. Nicco broke my heart and put it back together alongside Izzy. I’m glad to be along for the DiMaggio ride.

T, YOU ARE THE QUEEN OF MAFIA ROMANCE!! I loved Matteo and knew I'd love Isabella and ma'am I fell even harder for the DiMaggio series.
This book will have you feeling all your emotions, the angst had me tearing up but it added so much to the plot. When I say Nicco and Isabella went through the wringer I mean it, they went through everything, betrayal, hatred (mostly by Isabella lol) and so many secrets. Watching them come together was amazing, it wasn't rushed (much to Nicco's disappointment) they took their time finding trust in each other.
"Forever, Nicco. It's you and me, always and forever"
Isabella is that girl! She is a badass who doesn't apologize for who she is. If I thought I loved her in the first book, I'm obsessed with her now. I loved seeing her relationship with Teo and Enzo and how they truly would do anything for each other no matter what the cost is. Seeing Isabella take the time to understand her feelings and trust her gut was amazing. She refused to let Nicco jump right back into her life, she set the pace for their relationship. She was amazing at communicating her thoughts and feelings. I also loved that we got to see more of her relationship with Enzo, the bickering between them had me laughing out loud. Not to mention I'm forever obsessed with their friendship with Lux and Liana,
"I don't give a fuck who's on the other side of the barrel, Isabella. You will never stand between me and a gun"
When I say Nicco is hot I mean he is HOT. T, you write the hottest men 'cause I need a fan with heat radiating from them. he is everything I want in a book boyfriend, hot, tatted up, with a dirty mouth. He truly had the best character development I've ever read. He couldn't have groveled any better than he did. I could feel his love for Isabella as I read. He let Izzy take the time she needed before she was ready to have that open line of communication. Seeing him become so open with his feelings and his reasonings made me love him so much more.
I'm so excited about Enzo's book and can't wait to see what T does with his character. T has a brilliant way of capturing readers and giving them something we didn't know we needed.
Thank you so much T for letting me on your street team and allowing me to blow up your DMS as I read this ARC.
