I loved this series.
It's described as 'a paranormal soap opera' and honestly, it fits the vibe so much. I've not read a series like this before - the cast of characters and the amount of story lines all flowing together - it really is like a soap opera in book form.
The series thus far consists of:
Intense Feelings
Immortal Passions
I was lucky enough to get a copy of Immortal Passions as a Beta and an Arc and honestly, I had so much fun reading this. Both books so diverse and held a large cast of characters but with the ‘cast’ list at the beginning, it was easy enough to keep track of who was who.
I’m not going to get into any of the plot as I don’t want to accidentally spoil anything but there’s such a heap of drama, angst, family feuds and magical drama to sink your teeth into. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone

ARC review: Expect a soap opera and enjoy the soap opera! I swear I've never read anything like this.
Book 2 fast forwards like 25 years in the future. We get alot of our fave characters still and their next generation.
THIS IS MESSY!! So make sure you can handle that.
😍I was either swooning at some of these romances.
🥊Wanting to reach through the phone and wrong some necks.
😂Laughing at some of the cheekiness.
🥵Panting at some of them scenes. like damn!
Justice for 2 characters who should have got theirs.

I enjoyed this one more than I did the first book. The idea of going 25 years after the events of the first book was great. Soap opera drama at its finest.

Immortal Passions by Nomi Palmer is the second book in the Passions series and I absolutely love this book.
This book follows at least 20 different POV’s and it’s amazingly done. It’s so easy to follow and easy to keep track of everyone. Each chapter will follow more than one person but it’s so much fun to read from everyone’s pov.
This book follows Intense Feelings (Book 1) but 26 years later. We get to see the next generation but stilll the characters from the first book as well. This book is just a bit darker and spicier.
This is a long book (over 700p) but it’s fast paced and I couldn’t put it down. This is described as a soap opera and that it definitely is. This book has enough drama, spice and mystery to keep you intrigued. I love all the characters with their love, deception, betrayal, friendships, relationships,and found family . The paranormal aspects made this books. The book ended on a cliffhanger although the story in the book is completely. I am looking forward to reading Hopeless Devotion, the third book on the series

I am not a man who begs, but for you I will fall on my knees.
This book is the sequel to Intense Feelings and features a significant time jump. Still containing multiple viewpoints, the book still follows some characters from the first entry, their offspring, and some brand new characters.
Immortal Passions still has the soap opera feel and provides a lot of shorter scenes that make it feel like you’re reading the novelization of the most dramatic TV show. This makes for a quick read, but I did find it didn’t really grab me until about halfway through. Part of the trouble is that I did not like certain storylines and found myself irritated with the actions of some of the characters.
While I did enjoy the story overall, it would have benefited from being a little shorter and perhaps having fewer perspectives. There were a lot of threads to follow, and I found the stories I wanted to spend more time with were not as heavily featured.
The book ends on a major cliffhanger, and the third book takes place at the same time as this entry. I’m curious enough to read on and learn what happens. I must know if my theories are correct!

This guy didnt hit as well as Intense Feelings did- but its obviously a set up for the next book and I think the founding families and their kids all needed to be on the same page for that to happen, especially given the diaster of a dinner at the end.
I really liked Noah in book 1, but he rubbed me all sorts of the wrong way in Immortal Passions. Between James, Alexi, her maker and Noah though, I did really feel for Eden. She just might have gotten the absolute sh** end of the stick honestly.
Ava's character was a bit of an acquired taste, but i'm hoping she grows a lot in the next book since the potential is definitely there. I'm also quite curious about Jude the demon, and his arch angel sister, now that momma's earthbound again.
Immortal Passions ended strong, but the beginning and the middle felt a little muddy and I kind of wondered where things were supposed to be going with the focus jumping around so much, but the cliff hanger-ending makes me want to continue on and see how everything plays out
out.

I had the pleasure of BETA reading for @nomipalmerauthor for 'Immortal Passions'. I ARC read the first book in this series called 'Intense Feelings'. The books very much give off a spicier, darker version of Twilight but mixed with the old school soap opera 'Passions'.
Although I am not a huge paranormal girlie, nor a lover of books with a lot of characters, Nomi definitely made this book into an exception for me.
The magic, the drama, the spice, the friendships, the enemies, made for an amazing read. It kept me on the edge of my seat and some chapters leaving us with cliff hangers!
Nomi did a great job of making sure this was definitely a sequel to the first in the series.
If you like anything paranormal, as well as spice, and drama, add this to your tbr and go and read the first in the series 'Intense Feelings'.
My fav quote:
"Everything exists, in some way or another."

I loved the introduction of fallen angels and getting a closer look at the vampire/demon scene in Tourmaline. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this series and all the new creatures and monsters we will get to meet.

Oh I loved this book! I was immediately hooked and had such a hard time putting it down. Much like the first book, Intense Feelings, I loved all of the drama, multiple POVs, interesting characters, and all of the various storylines that seem to blend together seamlessly.
So much happens throughout the book and there are a lot of characters to keep track of, but it’s so worth diving into the world the author created in the town of Tourmaline. All of the twists and secrets will keep you completely captivated.

This series - Dramatic. Campy. Elaborate. & the most intriguing story line you’ll ever read.
From start to finish, each chapter is designed like episodes of a drama aired on Tv with long chapters, multiple POVs, and deeply woven plot elements.
BUT - it never becomes complex or confusing. Everything connects just perfectly like a spiderweb where answers develop as problems arise. Dont let your aversions stop you from trying this series.
This is my perfect 5 star read. I can picture every character exactly as described, each scene makes perfect sense, and I have no notes on anything.
It’s addictive. You’ll read this almost 600 page NOVEL in a day - you won’t be able to put it down.

This is book two and it takes place years after the first one and I was hooked from the jump. I could not put it down and if I had to I was counting down the hours until I could dive back in.
This one is darker than the first but it makes me definitely want to keep reading. All the twists had me on the edge of my seat .
It made me feel all the emotions.
Had me laughing, gasping and crying along with the characters. It made feel angry at certain ones while yelling at them to get their shit sorted.
By far one of my favourite books I’ve read this year.
Thank you nomi for creating this wonderful world of pain but also so much love.

This book, like the first, was a wild ride from start to finish. There is one town with multiple different families and storylines intersecting and drama galore, just like a soap opera. The supernatural aspect just adds more chaos to the mix and sometimes you don't know what is going on. But then as time goes on, plots and motives start revealing themselves and you are on more even footing. This book will keep you on your toes, wondering what the next scene will bring. There are a few events that are a bit more emotional, hello xander and kimiko, but mostly it's a fun story to read. I could not have foreseen any of the events that occurred or how the story would end because it's such a wild ride. And then the author drops a cliffhanger on us and the promise of a third book! There are a few spicy scenes but nothing too explicit or lengthy, especially considering the length of the book. Over 600 pages seems daunting but I read this in 3 sittings and it really needs all that time for these stories to play out. It didn't seem that long at all by the time I was finished.

This series is so niche but it hits in the best way.
If you enjoyed the messiness and drama of gossip girl and the paranormalness of twilight series, immortal passions is for you. It is multi POV but it switches in ways that flows really well. Theres multiple subplots going on but they all end up coming together in a way where once you put it together you feel like a detective.
Charlotte and Noah were unexpectedly messy in their own ways and my heart hurt for both.
That ending though! It made it go by even faster and now I’m just sitting here wondering what could happen next. Thank you Nomi for sending me an early copy to read and review- can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Paranormal soap opera say no more. What a ride it has been. The drama and twists, turns and spice. So well written from different POV that just somehow flows and works well together. I don’t know how she does it. I really enjoyed the book, it was quite long but what soap drama isn’t? I can’t wait to read Book 3 and continue it. I loved this even more than Book 1 having fallen angels and more demons in it. 4.5 stars for me. It’s an easy read that you can just pick up and keep reading.

I love this series so much. There's multiple povs in this one, and it definitely reminds me of a soap opera🤣 The plot was out of this world, and I can't express how much I enjoyed reading this! The characters are very well developed, and this story is so easy to escape reality and get lost it!

This is the second book in the Passions series and I loved this book! It follows book one (Intense feelings) but 26 years later. I really enjoyed seeing the new generation along with characters from the first book. It has so many different POV’s but it was really easy to follow, it’s fast paced and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the third book because I need to know what happens after that ending!

Absolutely loved Immortal Passions, the second book in The Passions Series by Nomi Palmer! The 26-year time jump added so much depth, bringing long-buried family secrets to light. With a Fallen angel, scandals, secrets, and lies, every twist kept me hooked from start to finish. Palmer’s storytelling is as captivating as ever, and I cannot wait to see what happens in the third book coming out this year! A must-read for paranormal romance fans!

This book was the 2 in The Passions series by Nomi Palmer. I did struggle a bit at the beginning trying to piece everyone together, but once I got in to it I could not stop. All the character building was phenom & the twists were at every turn! Definitely recommend and I can’t wait for book 3 because I NEED TO KNOW!

26 YEARS??? That’s how we’re starting this book??? Nomi, I was NOT ready for that jump, and it gave me whiplash immediately.
We get to follow the KIDS of Intense Feeling’s characters, and their absolutely hot mess of friends. I was SO happy to be back in this world, even if I was screaming every 5 pages. This book is pure CHAOS: fallen angels, witch kids, ancient powers, family drama, demon speakeasies, uncomfortable spice, very spicy spice, and characters making the WORST decisions ever. It’s so unhinged, I loved every page.
Ava…the worst, but she grows on you, kinda. Michael and Eli, UGH. Bonnie and Dakota?? Oh my god. Xander and Kamiko??? Oh my god. Noah? Sir, what are you doing?????? And Eden, please, why are you here??
There were parts I had to reread just to make sure I really read what I did. One minute I’m laughing, the next devastated, then someone’s bursting into flames or turning out to be a god. The lore is insane, and it takes time to piece things together, but it’s so much fun being dragged through the emotional hell and chaos.
This book made me want to scream, and then maybe step outside for a smoke and a cry. So… thanks for that, Nomi.

Honestly, I’m beyond obsessed. This book was so much: lore, drama, heartbreak, plot twists, sexy tension, emotional wreckage, and I loved every bit of it. If you like your fantasy with found family, magical chaos, and emotionally stunted characters accidentally falling in love while the world burns around them, read this. And then message me, because I need to scream about it some more.

I just love love love this series. So much. Immortal passions is totally different (yet the same) as its prequel Intense Feelings. The spice, drama and characters will hook you INSTANTLY! And then you’ll be obsessed like the rest of us. So. Welcome! 🤗
