Where has this book been all my life? I loved it 15/10 stars! I read it in 2 hours. Highly recommend.

💖charters: 10/10 - I loved Celia. She’s a sweet character and I love that she’s a baker and she’s curvy. Malik is like Dorian Grey meets Lucifer in a way. I loved it.
Now I need to read the others in this series.

The latest offering by Evangeline Anderson takes us back to Hidden Hollow for our second visit. This place is enchanting and enjoyable. The only inhabitants who live there are such magical creatures as centaurs, krakens, witches, demons, and ogres. This time we follow Celia, a kitchen witch, who owns the Lost Lamb Bakery now since it was passed to her by her great aunt. After she has lived there for five years, she is given a portrait of a very handsome demon. Soon he is able to step out of the frame, and that’s when Celia’s life gets turned on its ear. We also have a nasty villain, an ogre who only is interested in having Celia for lunch or dinner, just not as a guest.
Dreaming of the Demon is a novella, not a full novel. But it has a wonderful plot that I completely enjoyed and strong characters whom I will remember. Although there are some sections that are a bit scary, others made me laugh out loud. The steamy bits found in an Anderson tale are extremely obvious as well. Dreaming of the Demon is a Must Read! You can't help enjoying it.

This is a fairly short novella and yet I guarantee that you will find yourself immersed by the characters and the varied storylines that will hold your attention completely and the story will hold your attention in full.
Celia has been dreaming of her heartmate Malik the incubus, they are attracted to each other and they have and enjoyed hot and exciting sex along with pear tarts and also unbelievably a giant. Chester is the half deaf centaur and there were a great wealth of side characters and I am thoroughly enjoying reading all the adventures like I did.
This is a simply wonderful read and I guarantee that you will enjoy every moment of this book and I am sure that you will enjoy it as much as myself.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

I thoroughly enjoyed the novella set in the enchanting town of Hidden Hollow, a place brimming with magical inhabitants. Ceila, the town's baker, is a master of her craft and takes great joy in it. However, witnessing her best friend find true love has stirred a longing in her own heart for such a connection. An unexpected gift from her great aunt is about to turn Ceila's world upside down, in ways she never anticipated or desired. In a realm where magic weaves its own will, desires can manifest in the most unpredictable ways, leading to a cascade of complications. This tale is a delightful blend of sweetness and passion, laced with unexpected turns and enchanting magic that keeps you guessing.

The Hidden Hollow series is one of my favorite series of Evangeline Anderson. I have read several of her Kindred series- I personally love the way she writes her stories- the MMC are always respectful and protective of their MFC. Hidden Hollow is like the adult version of Halloweentown. I have absolute enjoyed the first 2 books I have listened to on audiobook. Ada Sinclair does an amazing job. There are some parts in this story that has to be sung, and she does it perfectly. In a nutshell, a kitchen witch inherits a painting of a demon (a very hot one I will add) that is trapped in the painting until he is released via magical spell that Celia happens to invoke on accident. It's funny. It's romantic. Has plenty of spice!

This is a fun, sweet, funny story. Malik is a demon well succubus in a painting. This painting is passed down to the women in Celia's family. Celia a normal woman or so she thinks, is pulled from her world into the bubble of Hidden Hollow. There Celia finds her power. She is a kitchen Witch. she is great at being one too. What she didn't count on was Malik.
there are many twists and turns in this story. They are both sexy and comical at times. I love this cute series and cannot wait for more from it in the future.

Celia runs the bakery in Hidden Hallow. Being up before dawn to bake her treats and closing the bakery at 5pm, does not leave much time for a relationship. Hidden Hallow is a hidden town that is home to all kinds of magical beings. So the dating pool is stocked with centaurs, ogres and krackens. Needless to say, Celia is quite lonely. That is until her 40th birthday when she receives a painting of what looks like a demon. You’ll have to read this fun and naughty novella to see how a painting can improve the love life of a lonely baker.

A enjoyed this novella. I love the little town of Hidden Hollow. The town is filled with magical beings. Ceila is the baker and she is amazing at it and loves it. But seeing her best friend find her heart match has made her realize how much she wants that too. A gift from her great aunt will soon change everything for her and not at all in a way she expected or wanted. With magic things happen that aren’t what you may want. And in a magical town that can cause a lot of problems. The story is very sweet and does have some heat. Filled with twists and magic you don’t know what to expect.

Whew!
Malik and Celia's story was magical, scary, hot, comical with a side of danger thrown in.
This story made me very happy!
The magic of the town, the side characters, the mystery of where Malik came from, although quickly solved, because who could believe that, was fun!
I enjoyed revisiting the characters from the previous book and hope to see Goldie get her story or at least hear she got her bear (s).
I highly recommend this book!

Enjoying my visit to Hidden Hollow. Monster romance is such a vibe! Gotta love heartmates, highly emotionally intelligent partners, and sensory details that make these stories so inviting. In this story, we meet an Incubus (type of Demon) and a kitchen witch (who owns the Lost Lamb Bakery). Those magical pear tarts are all the rage for the town after a little surprise ingredient goes into them this year.

This delightful snippet serves as a perfect bridge between the first book and the eagerly anticipated second installment of the series. I absolutely adore Hidden Hollow and am excited to delve into more. How I wish I could visit and immerse myself in the company of its characters, perhaps even stopping by the bakery!

I love this series but wow this one was very different. I liked the demon elements and how it changed things. I actually became worried for a while when the pot came out but luckily it was safe. the ending was too long coming I wanted that so much earlier but thats because I wanted to see some deeper connections soon because it was needed for her. awesome book I have 1 left to read and cant wait!

Book 2 in an amazing series so far, Celia dreaming of things she wants and a hot man in a painting. What could possibly go wrong. I love a shorter read on occasion where you can settle in with a cup of tea and have an amazing read. Highly recommend.

This novella was so exciting. It has all kinds of creatures, good and bad running around town. Danger really comes for the main character and she is not happy about it. Great book!

Book two of this series is about the same as the first, not brilliant, but not bad. A fun book with an Incubus and a baker in the same small town as the first.
