The Nash Brothers #4

Quitting the Quarterback

Rate this book
A steamy Pro Football, Single Mom, Forbidden Doctor/Patient Romance from Amazon Top Ten Bestselling author Lisa Suzanne.

I went to Vegas to celebrate my divorce, and the pro football star was there celebrating his new contract. I heard someone call his name, and I wasn't about to miss my chance to get with the man my ex had idolized. I didn't find out until long after a sizzling night filled with fingertips dragging along skin and breathless whispered pleas that it was a case of mistaken identity.

I never thought I'd see him again, but then he walks into my office. I'm working hard to rebuild myself as a financially independent single mother when my eyes lift to the VIP client my boss warned me about.

Anger courses through my veins, yet I can't seem to tear my gaze from those smoky blue eyes.
But the sly look in his eyes from that night is replaced by brokenness after an injury that just took him out for the season, and now it's my job to help rehabilitate him and get him ready for next season.

Quitting the quarterback seems nearly impossible, but if I don't do it, I might just lose everything I've worked for.

Quitting The Quarterback by Lisa Suzanne

4/5 stars

Quitting The Quarterback is the fourth installment in the Nash brothers series and like the previous three this was a delicious, hot and addictive book.

In this book we follow Tanner and his twin brother Miller. They just secured a new contract at the same team which they are extremely excited about. They celebrate it in Vegas.

Meanwhile Cassie just got divorced. Her ex-husband cheated on her left and right and she celebrates her divorce in Vegas with her girls.

Cassie is getting a drink and when a man next to her orders another one as well they start to talk and sparks instantly fly. Cassie thinks she is talking to Grayson. Both ready for a hot and meaningless one night stand. But before they find the hotel room they go on a sort of date and connect on a deeper level as well.

Their night is extraordinary but Cassie draws a clear line in the morning. She has two kids and she needs to get back home. When she arrives at home she finds out that the man she slept with wasn't Grayson and she is pissed.

Fast forward a few weeks. Tanner is playing his first game and he tears his ACL. He is pissed and grouchy until he meets his PT. Which is Cassie. Neither of them speaks up that they know each other and suddenly they are in each other's presence 7 days a week.

And love and lust crawls into their bones. I loved their push and pull. I loved them flirting. I absolutely loved him meeting her two children.

And when I read this part in the book, I felt so smitten myself:"

Normally, Lily only wants her mama in the water. Today, however, she only wants Tanner.
And so does Luca.
And you know what? So does mama, just in a totally different and decidedly inappropriate way.

I just snickered when I read that, haha.

I must admit that the 3rd act break up's are starting to annoy me a little bit in lots of romances nowadays. I am getting too old for needless drama. It felt a bit unnecessary in this one. But I liked how it was resolved later on.

All in all a great read! I had so much fun reading this one. And I'm already looking forward to reading Miller's story! 4 big stars from me for Tanner and Cassie!

I definitely have a love/hate outlook on this book. First Lisa Suzanne is one of my favorite authors so of course I'm going to read any book she puts out. I just love her writing style and her books never get boring with scenes that are unnecessary to have just for filler. But when I read the tropes for this upcoming book I was unhappy. Age gap and single parent are probably two of my least favorite ones. But there was no way I wasn't going to read this because of my love for the author and the fact that I am a physical therapist and the FMC is a PT as well.

I was pretty disappointed with the PT aspect of this book. Having a "home" therapist that comes 7 days a week for 6 hours at a time is so unrealistic. There is no way a clinic/practice would allow one PT to have only 1 patient. I know there had to be frequent interaction for their relationship develop but it was hard to read knowing that would never happen in a real PT/patient dynamic. It would have been a little more realistic if Cassie worked for the Storm and was assigned as the PT to work with him instead of being a part of a private clinic. Next, there was so many "stretches"! Stretching is really not a focus for ACL rehab and holding stretches for 20 minutes multiple times a day is also not a realistic part of the rehab process. Strengthening is so much more important. I was impressed with some of the exercises that were documented but they were very basic ones that are done in the first week and wasn't much progression of the therapy program as the book went on. As far as the PT part I did love the phase "rehab before romance" which was cute. I also loved how Cassie explained that being a PT while can have a doctorate degree, they aren't doctors because there is a lot of misconception about that.

Anyway, on to the actual book. One reason I don't like the single parent trope is being a mom myself I know how hard it would be to try to introduce a new man in their lives if my husband and I were to part ways. While there was some interaction with the kids it was kind of an "instalove" between them and Tanner which I was not a fan of. Most parents go months without introducing their kids to a new relationship and Cassie was bringing them over to his house in the first week. At one point her daughter Lily seemed to be going through some separation concerns but those just magically went away and weren't a concern as the book went on. I also felt like there could have been more wrap up with Cassie and her ex-husband. Not only did he hate Tanner but he also acted at times that he still had feelings for Cassie and his character also just kind of went away towards the end of the book with no real conclusion.

All in all I'm not mad that I read the book or felt like I wasted any time reading it. I will certainly be reading Miller's story when it comes out but this one definitely is probably the least favorite of the ones this author has written. Going into it I felt like I would either love or hate it given my issues with the tropes and PT representation. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. It was just fair overall.

I am LOVING this series!
Cassie is off to Vegas with her gal pals (IYKYK) to celebrate her divorce. Meeting a hot football player that her ex husband idolizes and going back to his room? Not on her bingo card but why not?
After that weekend Cassie returns home and is excited to be working again as a PT when she gets put on a high profile case that just happens to be Tanner her hook up from Vegas! The dr./patient aspect was just the right mix of forbidden. How far are they willing to go?

I listened to the audiobook performed by Tor Thom and Kelsey Navarro Foster. These two were perfection as they brought the characters to life with real and raw emotion.

Quitting the Quarterback is book 4 in The Nash Brothers series following Tanner and Cassie. Tanner and his twin brother just get traded to a new team so off to Vegas they go to celebrate. Cassie is newly divorced and goes to Vegas with her besties to celebrate. While in Vegas Cassie and Tanner run into each other, have a drink together and sparks were flying the minute they started talking. Instant connection between them. They decide to enjoy a night together, and go their separate ways the next day. BUT they both can’t stop thinking about each other and they realize they want more, but they don’t live near each other, it can’t work. Or so they thought!!

Fast forward a few weeks Cassie starts at her new job as a physical therapist. Tanner is playing his season opener with his new team but injures himself, tearing his ACL and requiring surgery and rehab. In walks Cassie from Vegas, who is now his physical therapist. She will be going to his house daily to rehab his leg and neither mentions they know each other.

The connection and bond between them is phenomenal. You can tell from the beginning they are perfect for each other. Cassie doesn’t put up with Tanner’s crap and will put him in his place and Tanner will be there for Cassie when she’s spiraling out of control. I loved the push and pull between the characters, will they won’t they. The banter and flirting were hilarious. And her children Luca and Lily were absolutely adorable.

There is a third act breakup after a jealous ex husband and coworker go behind Cassie’s back and get her fired and she blames Tanner. Tanner comes up with a plan to win her back and Cassie takes that time to find herself, who she is, and what she wants to do for a career now. I loved how they were able to work on each other and discover they need each other and found their way back. I loved watching them learn more and more about each other, little moments together really helped draw you in. Made it feel real and relatable. The struggles Tanner went through during rehab with his career up in the air. I love Cassie and Tanner soo much but I absolutely loved the side characters. The banter and love they brought to the table was amazing. I can’t wait for Miller’s book. I also can’t wait to go back and read books 1-3.

Another addictive sports romance from Lisa Suzanne and you will NOT want to Quit this book.!!
Tanner Banks and Cassie Fields are steamy HOT !! Cassie is a divorced mum with 2 kids and she is just starting to explore working again, she is a Physiotherapist and wants to stand on her own 2 feet. Her ex husband is a piece of work and interferes in her life when he has no right to. Tanner is an NFL Player he has just started playing for his new team along with his twin brother, he has just found out that his dad is Eddie Nash and so the life he knew feels like a lie and he is angry.
Tanner and Cassie meet in a bar and Cassie does not know that Tanner is a football player, she doesn't even know his real name. They are attracted to one another and they have a one night stand and think they will never see each other again, they both can't stop thinking about that night.
Then to both of their surprise Tanner is Cassie's first patient at her new job! Because after tearing his ACL he needs Physiotherapy and Cassie just happens to work at the facility where he needs to get the treatment he needs. This is were all the drama and complications start...because obviously fate is messing with them both and they are still so attracted to each other...They both have insecurities...and they decide to go for it and a secret relationship begins. Which could have great consequences for Cassie if they are found out because between a disgruntled ex husband and the rules of Cassie's job, they have to decide if the risk is worth it. This story is a very enjoyable listen and Tor Thom and Kelsey Navarro Foster do a wonderful job at telling this story...keeping you captivated with their voices. Quitting the Quarterback is a fabulous edition to this series of stories...and I loved their ending. Magnificent book. 5 Stars.- Cat W.

Another Fantastic Book by This Author

I don’t know how she does it but Ms. Suzanne has another hit on her hands with the half brother of the Nash Brothers. Tanner is the charismatic quarterback on his new team who goes down with an injury right off the bat. Cassie is a newly divorced mom whose crappy ex cheated on her and she out looking for a little fun in Vegas. After a steamy night she finds out that the man she thought she was sleeping with was Grayson Nash, she finds out quickly that his is Grayson’s half-brother, Tanner.

With Cassie being Tanner’s physical therapist will these two be able to keep things professional or will that one steamy night they had come to the forefront. With that sleezy ex-husband of hers stirring the pot this book was one heck of a ride of ups and downs making this a huge page turner.

I just know when I see this author’s name on book, I know I have to read it because she always delivers. This is another five-star read that I can highly recommend.

Leave it to this author to bring romance, chemistry, heat, banter and chaos all in one amazing book!

Cassie is a divorced, single mom of two, who is making it on her own. A night in Vegas has her spending the night with Tanner, who she thought was one of the other Nash brothers. So when he walks in as her new patient, they both get a shock.

Tanner just found out that he and his twin (Miller) are the sons of Eddie Nash. He feels a connection with Cassie that first night and wants to see her again but she never reaches out. But he gets his chance when he walks into to meet his new physiotherapist and it happens to be Cassie.

Loved the banter between these two. And the secret/forbidden relationship added that extra element.

Thank you to the author for the amazing ARC opportunity ❤️ I'm so grateful for the opportunity to read this 🙏

I really enjoyed this book and finished it in 24 hours!

My first read by Lisa, and it definitely won't be my last 😀

I love Cassie & Tanner ❤️ they are sooooo good together, and I could feel the chemistry through the pages! I was hooked on them both 🙂

Add in Cassie's 2 adorable kiddies, and it's just adorable 😍

I really liked the storyline and the pacing of the book!

As I've already said, it won't be my only read from this author, and I will definitely be getting the Nash brothers series to get more back story on them!

Football romance 🏈
Quarterback x Physical therapist
Single mom 👩
Spicy 🌶️
Reverse age gap (shes 7 yrs older)
I loved the two main characters.

Tanner is a star quarterback who gets injured during a game early in the season and needs physical therapy/surgery to get back to playing.

Cassie is a newly divorced single mom who is just getting back into working after her divorce.

When Cassie shows up to the office and gets assigned to the new high profile client Tanner, a man she had a one night stand with in Vegas while she was celebrating her divorce from her cheating ex husband. The tension is high, the chemistry is bubbling.

This is a fantastically written romantic comedy with notes of emotional healing and strong family bonds. I really enjoyed this book.

Dual Narration - Tor Thom as Tanner and Kelsey Navarro Foster as Cassie chefs kiss to these narrators!

4.5 stars only because I wish it was duet style. Still worth a listen! 🎧

I liked the book overall but the whole relationship with a patient part really bothered me. Mainly because she acted so surprised when they were caught and she was fired. It is a HUGE ethical no-no, which she admitted previously. There is also no way that a single PT would be expected to work 7 days a week with no days off.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…Lisa Suzanne is an INSTANT READ/BUY for me. No questions asked. And the Nash Brothers series has me SALIVATING!! TANNER BANKS NASH!!! I would let this man do unspeakable things to me. Cover your eyes and ears Cassie! I’m so sorry!!!!

Tanner is the newest Nash brother along with his twin (you don’t HAVE to read the previous books to read this one but there’s info on how he and his twin come in being the long lost Nash brothers). He’s ready to start his new team in San Diego when he injures his ACL and is sidelined.

Cassie…super sweet and sassy , single mom. Newley divorced. Out in Vegas’s for a girls weekend when the stars align and she meets one HOT NFL player and spends a steamy night with him.

In true Lisa Suzanne fashion, nothing is EVER as it seems. When Tanner shows up for his first rehab appt, he’s met with his hot ONS and now new therapist…oops!

These two navigate the troubles that come with doctor/patient relationships. Adding in the stress that Tanner is already under with his new found family and injury and Cassis dumpster fire of an ex stirs up drama.

It’s chaos but in the best way. There’s spice. There’s BANTER! There’s two adorable kids who love Tanner as much as Cassie does and vice versa. This book will make you laugh, cry, gasp, swoon and everything in between ! I absolutely love this series!

4.5⭐️ Not sure how I missed posting this review! I love this series and the Nash brothers so dang much. And I’m so glad we’re finally getting a look into the twins’ lives. I loved the push and pull between Cassie and Tanner. Their chemistry was off the charts. She tried to keep it professional and draw the line there, but neither of them could fight it and resist. Cassie really was an incredible mother and I know as having been a single mother myself before, that it’s never easy to introduce your children to a new man. Tanner was so incredible with Lily and Luca though. My biggest complaint is the third act breakup. It felt very unnecessary but I did enjoy how it was resolved and how everything played out.

Thank you to Lisa and valentine PR for an ARC of Quitting The Quarterback. I love this series and I’m so sad we only have one book left.

Of the series so far, this is my least favorite book. While Tanner and Cassie had explosive chemistry the first time around, when they came face to face again, it felt lacking for me. I know this is all fictional and a story, but considering the fact that Cassie was trying to become independent, restart her career, and care for her children as a new single mom, she didn't give two shits about putting it all on the line so she could have sexy time with Tanner. Just saying, it's like her personality was confused as to if it wanted to be the responsible mother, or a YOLO-ing recent divorcee. If you're going to do both, do both, but don't be shocked when the truth comes out. Cassie acted like the new of her and Tanner fell from the sky and it was impossible that it got out. Girl, do the crime you gotta be ready to pay the time.

I did love Miller though and hope his book makes me love him more. Loved seeing the other Nash brothers and I could have used more of the brotherly love. Also, Cassies kiddos were absolutely adorable and I would have loved to see more of Tanner with them.

Tanner tells them, “I’m not going anywhere without my brother.” The first time he remembered speaking those words, they were in preschool, and the teacher was trying to separate them into two different groups. One was going outside to the playground with the aide, while the other was forced to stay inside and practice lettering with the teacher. Tanner wasn’t about to let his best friend in the entire world have to deal with the nonsense of writing his letters, and eventually Miss Catherine relented. You see, Tanner and Miller Banks are twins, and Tanner is twelve minutes and thirty-seven seconds older than Miller.

They are going to give him what he asked for. Both of them are going. They do the handshake and slap his hand with his brother’s. They move back to slap hands backward, grab hands, shake once, let go, fist bump once, and hug. It’s been their not-so-secret celebratory handshake since they were probably in that preschool classroom together twenty-five years ago. A lot has changed since then. But one thing hasn’t, the fact that not only are they twin brothers but they are best friends, not to mention Miller’s just about the only person left in this world whom Tanner can trust.

The brothers are trading the Arizona desert, where they have played football together for the last seven years, for the beaches of San Diego, where they’ll continue playing on a team together. San Diego is rebuilding, and they acquired an excellent wide receiver last season who happens to be their half-brother, something they only learned recently. And now they’re getting the Banks brothers. Or…technically the Banks-Nash brothers, I guess. The fact that we’ll be moving a little further away from their mother, who is an Arizona native and, as they’ve recently learned, a pathological liar.

You see, their mom never told them that their father is Eddie Nash, the famous QB of football fame. They grew up thinking that their father was Charles Banks, not that they had no life at all; quite the contrary. It's just they were never given the information, the truth about their parenting. They know they got the better deal, but they still would have wanted the truth. Since meeting all the Nash brothers, they knew they all wanted to get together as much as possible. So to celebrate their moving to San Diego, they all agreed to meet in Vegas.

He meets Cassie Fields, who happens to be there to celebrate her divorce with her girlfriends, who are all about getting her laid. Who knew she would overhear the female bartender say, “On the house for Grayson Nash?“ Beneath a baseball cap, it’s an honest enough mistake. Is on the house. “You’re a football player?” the woman who was ordering the margarita said. When Tanner looked down at her, he couldn't help but notice how gorgeous she was, so much so it made his breath hitch. So much so that he checked for a ring on her left finger.

They decided to see where the night would take them and get to know each other. Wander around the conservatory filled with vibrant flowers, trees, and sculptures centered around a whimsical, romantic theme for summer. Each display and succulents the color of avocados will forever remind me of this moment as I take a beat to focus each time I spot my favorite color combined with my favorite types of plants. She’s there in Vegas, holding hands with a pro football player she wouldn’t have recognized if she hadn’t heard the bartender say his name earlier.

Yup, she has no clue he’s not his half-brother Grayson. Yet, here she is still walking around the gardens at the Bellagio with a real NFL star QB anyway. When they head to the room, it’s on like Donkey Kong. With fearless abandonment they go at it every which way, but Tuesday. Their chemistry is so hot it scares them both because they said only one night. He gives her his number the next morning, something he has never done before. It's not the end; Tanner doesn't believe in fate, but two more times their lives will intersect. Will they be powerful enough and worth staying power?

I loved them as a couple. Disliked her ex-husband and all associated with him. Laughs at him, though. Can’t wait for the next book for Miller’s story and to find out about Eddie.

This story opens with the Banks twins brothers being traded to the San Diego football team. They decide to head to Las Vegas to celebrate the trade. They are celebrating with their newly found half brothers, the Nash brothers. The brothers have decided that they will have an all out evening of fun.

Our FMC, Cassie, is headed to Vegas for her own reason to celebrate. She is leaving her kids with her parents for a fun weekend because her divorce is final. Her doctor douche of a an ex- husband was cheating on her two years and she is finally free of that drama. She is also waiting to hear about a physical therapy job. She used to be a physical therapy doctor and is excited to return to the profession.

The two separate groups end up in the same hotel bar and are having a great time. Cassie is waiting at the bar for her drink and starts talking to a gorgeous man next to her. The bartender thinks that he is Grayson Nash, his half brother, not himself, Tanner Banks. Cassie doesn’t recognize the name because she doesn’t know much about football 🏈 but they start flirting with each other. He suggests that they go somewhere quiet.

They start to do “normal” things before heading upstairs for the one night stand portion of the evening. They talk about favorite colors, favorite seasons, favorite drinks – no coffee for him and she loves pumpkin spice lattes. At one point, Tanner says “Let’s see where the tequila takes us.”

When the head upstairs, Tanner is afraid that he has accidentally fallen for her and he is afraid what that means. This first spicy scene between them was so very well written, it had so much detail in it and it provide the sexy spicy heat that we all love from a romance book.

As fate would have it, Tanner is at practice for his new team and ends up getting injured. Unfortunately, the injury is significant and will require surgery. Prior to surgery, he needs to have physical therapy to ensure he is the strongest he can be before going into the procedure. He is assigned he own personal physical therapist – none other than our FMC, Cassie.

They get to know each other during this very trying time for him – he is at is most vulnerable because the only thing has known is football and now he will not be doing that until next season.

As their relationship develops over time, they share some of the most hurtful things from their past. They help heal each other and help each other navigate life. The way Tanner interacts with her children is the sweetest interaction and the way the kids take to Tanner is very heartwarming. Lisa Suzanne takes great care in developing the relationship between them.

The third act break up in this heart wrenching. The words he speaks to her during this scene left me sobbing 😭

I have read several of Lisa Suzanne’s books – they were baseball themed, and they were a set 5 that built on each other. This book can be read as a standalone and she does a great job of bringing us up to speed on the Nash brothers and the family dynamics, but it really makes me want to go read them for myself.

This is great read for those of you that want a story that sees both main characters further define who they are as a person but then who they are together as a couple and integrate their families.

Cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Compelling & Emotional!

Quitting the Quarterback
The Nash Brothers, Book 4
By: Lisa Suzanne
Narrated by: Kelsey NavarroFoster, Tor Thom,

It is great to be back in Lisa Suzanne’s Nash Brothers’ world for another fabulous sports romance novel and another fabulous Nash brother, Tanner Banks, who is a professional football player, too. The Nash brothers recently learned of their half-brothers, Tanner and Miller Banks, and they are still getting to know each other. The Banks brothers are struggling with the betrayal of their mother lying to them about who their father was and for her never telling them, though she had her reasons. Despite growing up not knowing they were brothers, they share similar traits and characteristics, including the love of football and their swoon worthy charm. Tanner and Miller are a package deal, so when one gets traded, the other goes with him and they are off to a new team in California, but make a celebratory pit-stop in Vegas first. Cassandra “Cassie” Fields’ friends take her to Vegas to celebrate the finalization of her divorce from her cheating husband and she does something she never did before, gets picked up at the bar and has a one-night stand and it turns out to be a memorable and steamy encounter. After his heartbreak, Tanner did not do relationships, but there was something about Cassie that makes him want to see her again, even left the ball in her court by giving her his number, but she never called. He can not get her out of his mind even weeks after their encounter, but life, or maybe it is fate, has a funny way of working, and she turns up in his life again, this time in a professional capacity. Cassie has been out of the workforce since she had her kids but a connection got her a physical therapy position and since she specialized in sports medicine, her first client turns out to be him, her Vegas one-night stand. It was great to watch these two, first get past their differences, especially the misidentification, and then get to know each other and then her kids, who he was fantastic with. I loved all the layers of this wonderfully written and plotted story, and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, witty banter and dialogue, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Lisa Suzanne, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧  Kelsey NavarroFoster and Tor Thom deliver another outstanding performance with the perfect portrayal of their characters, always getting it just right. Both were amazing as the two leads, with NavarroFoster nailing it as Cassie and Thom as Tanner, showcasing every aspect of their personality and demeanor, and were equally fabulous performing the roles of the secondary/side characters, children included. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. With these two at the mic you know you are in for a treat of a listen, they are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

****ARC****

Thanks to Valentines PR for selecting me for this ARC. And a HUGE!!! thank you to the wonderful author for writing this amazing book. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤

The thing about me is I love a Nash Brother. I'm quite obsessed and smitten with them. And now we have two new brothers and well they're Nash Banks but Nash in all the best ways.

Tanner and Cassie are just *chefs kiss* I loved the way they met, then you think it's going straight to the one night stand but nope. I loved that that part was added to it. Nothing about the Nash clan is normal so of course there would have to be "coincidence? I think not" moments. I mean the way they met again after that night was incredible and after that the relationship was inevitable.

With every Nash Brother book, there are always a little suspense to what's going to happen. And I have to say, I saw one coming but the last one, quite shocked me. I won't say but it was a feeling. All I can say is that I love Luca and Lily and Tanner is already the best step-dad because they already loved him from that first meeting. Also, there were characters I wanted to just slap in the face. I mean those two need to just get the heck away. Both Cassie and Tanner went through their ups and downs but figured out what they wanted for themselves and together. One of my favorite parts has to be Cassie showing up at just the right time when Tanner needed her. Her support was needed.

The family dynamic of the book was TOP TIER. If you know The Nash Brothers, you know that they show up and support each other on and off the field. They took over Las Vegas and now taking over San Diego. And, umm, can we talk about Miller? I can just imagine how he is and I'm intrigued by his relationship/crush background. Like gimme gimme gimme, I. AM. READY because one of my favorite tropes is coming up. *chefs kiss*

Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. Give me a Nash Brother and some of my favorite tropes and I am here for it. This is one of the best ones so far. I rated the OGs in my head already but once I finish Miller's book I will put them in order. I sure hope we get like a next Gen or something with the Nash clan because when Miller's book is released, is it goodbye? I'm already feeling sad about that. Enough about the sad feelings lol. Tanner and Cassie were beautiful and just deserving of each other. How the book came together was just so amazing because of how they met and the found each other again. I loved the journey and I loved their love. They had chemistry and longing so you know it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 when they hit those sheets. Oh and it was fantastic seeing all the OGs making an appearance. I wanna shout out the OGs mom Missy, that woman DESERVES her flowers. She is one hecj of a woman and Eddie missed out because as much as they were married for years, he didn't appreciate her fabulousness. She's just beautiful inside out.

I'm looking forward to reading Miller's book. Again just gimme the book right now.

Book 4 in the Nash Brothers Series

This was a raw, emotional journey of healing ... body, mind and soul. Two people at a crossroads, both trying to find themselves again after suffering upheaval in their lives. Plagued with self doubt, hurt, disappointment, anger and fear...

Your heart will ache for these two as they navigate their way to forever. With some bumps and bruises along the way, they fought for forever and came out on the other side whole.

One glance. One touch. One night is all that's promised. But for Tanner & Cassie, this is all it takes to shake up their worlds once more. Intense heat and chemistry off the charts hot, these two are inevitable. An instant connection. A pull so strong, it's hard to deny. Walking away wasn't easy, but fate came out to play a hand...

Tanner Banks is the newly acquired Quarterback for the San Diego Storm. He's poised, intense, extremely competitive and brings big energy on and off the field. With a self-assured smirk and equally confident swagger, this deliciously sinful, dirty talking Alpha is ready to grab this new life by the horns, although inside, he's a chaotic boiling pot of emotions.

Cassie Fields is a newly divorced single mom of two adorable little kids. Trying to find herself again and rebuild her crumbled life, this physical therapist is determined to provide the best possible life for herself and her kids now that all of their lives have been turned inside out & upside down. Little does she know one weekend away with the girls will throw just one more twist in the road...

When an unexpected injury threatens to sideline Tanner's fresh start, imagine their surprise when they come face to face once again. Sparks will definitely fly. Anger. Hurt. Disbelief. Mistrust. Hope. The banter... Ohhhh, the banter! You can feel the intense heat between these two and it's only a matter of time before they go up in flames once more!

As these two navigate the fine line between professional and personal, walls come crashing down and they begin a game that could ultimately cost them everything... The cost of forever might be too high a risk. But is it worth it?

The sweetness and vulnerability of these two will absolutely make you MELT and break your heart at the same time. This man... Ughh, this man. Tanner has a little bit of every Nash brother inside of him and you can't help but fall head over heels in love.

You'll find yourself rooting for these two from the very first swoon-worthy connection. I'm absolutely IN LOVE with Tanner Banks!

I am fully embracing my football romance era thanks to Lisa Suzanne. She has quickly become an auto buy author for me.

This was my first read of the Nash Brothers series and even though it was book number 4 I had no issue following along the story or enjoying it.

Cassie is a recently divorced mom of two who goes on a girls trip with her friends to Vegas to celebrate her divorce. She’s never been interested in football, but when the opportunity arises to hook up with one of the players her ex husband had idolized all through their marriage she couldn’t pass up the chance for a hot one night stand.

The next morning Cassie leaves finding out that the hot hook up was not who she thought he was. Expecting to never see him again she chalks it up to a wild night in Vegas.

Tanner Banks has recently discovered that the man he thought was his father his whole life isn’t really his father. Instead his father is famous football player Eddy Nash and he has 3 new brothers. While out in Vegas celebrating a new football contract, he meets Cassie. Following their night together, he can’t get her off his mind.

Unfortunately during the first game of the season, Tanner suffers an ACL tear and requires physiotherapy to rehabilitate the injury. What he doesn’t expect is for his new physiotherapist to be Cassie his hot Vegas hookup.

Cassie and Tanner begin spending everyday together working on his rehab but the connection they shared in Vegas is still there. Cassie is trying her best to rebuild her life and career post divorce and can’t afford any distractions. Including the hot quarterback. Quitting the quarterback seems nearly impossible, but if she doesn’t do it, she may lose everything she’s been working hard to get back.

Lisa delivered another touchdown romance with all the feels. Cassie and Tanner are such a good couple. I loved not only seeing their relationship grow but also watching how Tanner connected with Cassie’s 2 kids was so special.

Both Tanner and Cassie are trying to deal with their own insecurities but together they deliver the chemistry, heat, spice, banter, and dose of chaos you expect from a Lisa Suzanne book.

The audio performances by Tor Thom and Kelsey Navarro Foster were well done. I couldn’t put this down. They both really brought these characters to life in such a captivating way and injecting the light hearted humor feel of all of Lisa’s books.

Though the characters have their struggles, Lisa certainly delivers a true feel good sports romance.

Thank you Valentine PR and Lisa Suzanne for another great audiobook ♥️
