Knot Forever #2

Knot my Only Fan

As a beta, my life was mapped out. One day I was going to buy the cafe I worked at...
Now I’m looking at two pink lines.

In the space of two weeks, my life flipped when my inner omega made a very late arrival. I’m twenty-three years old, and nobody, especially me, expected it.

All I had to do was listen to my mom and get my first heat out of the way, get a beta implant and live a normal life again.

Except, I went against her wishes of having my heat monitored in the safety of a Heat Clinic. Instead, I've created an OmegaFans account to sell my heat to my alpha subscribers.

But I don't expect my number one fan to hunt me down, or to lose my heat-card to him, and I don’t know if it’s because of my raging heat hormones, but I smell him as my scented mate.

Unfortunately, he only wanted my heat, I realize that when he vanishes the next day… I should have known. He told me his career was too important to be tied down.

So why is it when I see him a few months later he looks jealous as hell that I’m on a date? And I now know he's not the entrepreneur he claimed—he plays for the New York Bears hockey team.

The man behind the mask is Lucas Hilton, the son of a senator and a hockey god, but I don’t care because I’m on a date with Stanton Adams, your captain, because you’re…

DNF @65%

I love a good bit of drama. But drama for the sake of drama. That’s a really tired trope. It’s all so manufactured. There is just so much divisiveness between Lucas & Stanton that just doesn’t make sense. Henry as the baddie is all on paper. He just announces weddings. But there’s nothing we see that tells us that crossing him would be a bad thing. Then there is how Lucas & Stan treat Grace like a piece of meat. “Gifting her” and “playing games.” I’m sure it’s supposed to increase the drama factor here, but Lucas, buddy, you left your scent match without so much as a note…and Stan is acting every bit like his media persona. I’m like, these two men are not at all likeable. She should run away. Maybe they redeem themselves in the last 35% of the book, but I just don’t want to bother. Others may be able to stay in for the long haul - and I’d encourage you to. But not for me.

A sweet yet frustrating omegaverse story

I really enjoyed Grace, Stanton, and Lucas by the end of the book. In the beginning and middle, there was a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding that kept them apart. While it did work in the story, I generally find those tropes frustrating. I definitely appreciated the sassiness of Grace, and how she would stand up for herself, even when everything was going wrong in her life. I also liked seeing the different view points on her situation from her family and friends. No one is perfect, but it helps to find others’ perspectives.

For an omegaverse book, it was only moderately spicy (3 peppers) with most of it right near the end.

Grace loved life as a beta. She dreamed of owning the cafe she worked at. She was on her way to raising the money for the purchase with her naughty online beta account. So, when she presented unusually late as an Omega, she had no intention of remaining one. After her first heat, she planned to get a beta implant and resume her dream. She never expected her biggest fan to track her down and beg for her first heat. She never expected to catch feelings or for him to disappear afterward. And she never expected to have to delay her return to life as a beta. Raging hormones, unseen complications, scent matches, and runaway feelings make her life as an Omega more than difficult.

I liked the premise but couldn't embrace any love for the characters. Grace was fine but nothing special. Stanton lacked depth for me and I was not a fan of Lucas. He was a coward, scared of his father and scared of failing. He got his feelings hurt after he had done everything wrong from the beginning. I also thought the relationships were lacking. I never felt their bond, only lust. This book wasn't for me.

Another magnificent book📚 by EVIE ELLIS🔞
This is a 💛MFM BOOK 📖 🔞

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "If 'Book Hangover' was a medical diagnosis, I’d be in the ICU right now. This story hit every single emotional note with the precision of a world-class orchestra. It has that rare 'vacation magic' where you forget your own name for 300 pages and then wake up at the end feeling like a brand new person. A true 5-star experience is supposed to feel like a high-end holiday for your imagination, and this one delivered a first-class ticket. It has that sense of completion that is so hard to find where every thread is tied, every emotion is earned, and you’re left sitting in silence for twenty minutes after the final period just staring at the wall. It’s that 'magical vacation' vibe where you’re sad it’s over, but you’re so filled with the warmth of the journey that you can’t even be mad at the flight home.

I loved everything about this book!!
The plot, the characters, and everything in between.
Filled with so many emotions, spicy goodness, drama, and just a bit of humor.

I loved Grace. She was confident, sweet, and relatable.
Lucas and Stanton, I loved them too. While they both made a few stupid decisions, their hearts were in the right place.
I loved how their relationship evolved. We got to see each of the main characters grow too. The steam between them, was off the charts!

I think it was a fantastic read, with the perfect ending for this trio!!

1. Why add someone to the heat (for 2 seconds), never show their time together and then make him possibly the father?

2. Miscommunication for the sake of manufactured drama is bad story telling. Like this is how 60% of the book goes:
Lucas: I want you but it’s not safe for us to be together yet.
Grave two seconds later: so he doesn’t want me. He told me as much.

Like come on? That’s not what he said and her whining over and over he doesn’t want her when he’s expressed multiple times he does was annoying.

Both alphas lack depth of any kind and their animosity was strange.

3/5 ⭐️

✨️ Omegaverse
✨️ MFM
✨️ Scent Matches
✨️ Spicy Content Creator (FMC)
✨️ Sport Romance
✨️ Surprise Pregnancy
✨️ Birth Control Tampering
✨️ "Fake" Dating
✨️ Secrets & Lies

This was kinda sweet & fast paced, but what i didn't like was one of the MMC's (Lucas). I think the FMC deserves better alpha's who doesnt lie and who openly choose her without doubt of fear. There wasn't really much groveling...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE omegaverse romance and this one didn’t disappoint you’ve got a beta turned omega with scent matches which are always my favorite. There is birth control tampering, pregnancy in this book but it’s not the main focus of the book. It’s also a hockey sports romance I’m so excited for the next book in this series

Awesome!!

I loved this read!! It was an amazing love story with some amazing characters. The love Stanton had for Grace was truly inspiring, Lucas was a little hard to get behind until he finally came to terms with it and his father came around to being a good father.. I would recommend this book highly!!

So bad. At least in my eyes.
It is one of those books that you struggle to stay awake while reading it.
A good book should make you struggle Too sleep.
It should move along at a quick pace and have equal amounts of sex vs action.
The sex in this book, forced, or rather.... boring.
It read like a play book.
Sleep inducing.

Loved this one!

Honestly I loved all tropes that went into this one! I liked the spice, the angst, and I loved the path to the HEA!
I’m a little hesitant about harlowes book next just because it seems so sad that a 10 year relationship ends with him going for a new omega. Anyways I liked it!

great read

This story about Grace captured my attention and I loved the character development we got to see. It was amazing to see them grow as individuals and the happy ending was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to dive into the next story.

I’m honestly shocked at how many 5 star reviews this has. Did we all read the same book? I really, really wanted to like this. Truly, I did. It’s very rare I actually actively dislike something I’m reading. This book, however, is one of those rare exceptions.

Grace, Lucas, and Stanton come together under somewhat unusual circumstances. The chemistry between them is genuine, but they have some baggage and family drama to overcome before they find their happily ever after. It was worth the wait!

This was a struggle to finish. I loved the overall premise, but all 3 main characters were super stubborn and then I just had a hard time keeping my attention engaged in this.

I usually love evie ellis's works, but this one missed the mark for me!

enjoyed but

It was a pretty good read. I enjoyed it. Was a lot of angst, which usually isn’t my thing. And they didn’t fully get together until like the last 5% of the book. So it’s OK.

2.5 stars. One is the Heroes was too soft to be a believable alpha. Too much time apart before they all finally got together.

A great book. The writing style was amazing. I really loved Stanton. Lucas had his moments, and I vibed with Grace, but her friends deserve a round of applause for how supportive they are.
