I received a copy from Booksprout and I'm willingly leaving a review
This is a personal list; some items, such as sugar, are not included. I like how it was presented, much like a booklet of some sort with many sources for the author’s decisions. He is exactly on point with the food pyramid and how Ancel Keys manipulated his findings; we probably watched the same documentaries. Points for saying "accepted advice was perpetuating my illness"; same goes with diabetes and heart diseases. But lost Brownie points when he wrote "many people continue to stuff their faces (sic) with bakery goods, even when they are overweight". Actually, the common ingredient is sugar, which is the addictive part of all the goods he listed. I am not sure why finding out which vitamins and minerals you are deficient in is perceived as a “considerable challenge”, since a blood test would tell you and it’s free in Canada. There are too many “likely”; if you don’t know, don’t talk about it. Overdose of vitamin C can lead to stomach upset, diarrhea, and rarely, kidney stones.

This is a short, well-organized collection of Kevin Kendall's experiences and recommendations to resolve chronic digestive issues. We don't always need pages of references to support a bias in a self-help book. The author mentions often that he isn't a scientist, but his personal experiences are presented in a chatty, understandable fashion that makes this an enjoyable read. Good job!
