A princess on the run. A soldier on the hunt. A kingdom slipping into darkness.
After barely escaping her Muratian captors, Princess Isla is free, but far from safe. The pair's reunion is fleeting as they are now in a race against time to find safety, if such a place even exists anymore.
The scars from Isla’s captivity run deeper than she’s willing to admit, but healing is delayed as strange creatures appear across the lands, causing chaos everywhere they touch. Old enemies are circling, new foes emerge, and a dark plot is unraveled, all of it tying back to the princess. Can Isla and Rian find a way to stop evil from taking over completely?
Bonded by Ash is the gripping second book in the Ruin of Ash series and is perfect for lovers of fast-paced romantasy.

Didn’t really feel like the main relationship got to grow in this book. Not enough pining for me either. Still good to see the characters more and looking forward to the next book
I am globally annoyed with the turn of this book : it is as if the characters learned nothing from their previous adventures. I am writing this review a few months after finishing the book (as I have apparently forgoten to do so) and I can't recall much more than being annoyed.
