Folks always warn that life passes by in the blink of an eye. It’s filled with millions of moments, some more memorable than others, each one weaving together to create the tapestry of the legacy you leave behind when your time on this earth is done.
As a bareback bronc rider, I have only one goal: to win enough buckles to compete at nationals or die trying.
Then Daisy Morrison shows up in Rust Canyon and everything changes. My hometown’s new schoolteacher captivates me from the minute I lay eyes on her, and suddenly my world is flipped upside down.
Dreams get rearranged, priorities shift, and I begin to wonder if, instead of the glory I’ve been chasing on the rodeo circuit, Daisy is the prize I’ve been working toward all along.
*Before You Can Blink is the fourth book in the Rust Canyon series and can be read as a standalone. Though it is not required that you read the prior books in the series first, it is recommended to achieve the optimal reader experience.
Siena is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where a love of sports is bred into a girl's DNA. Her love of romance novels came early as well. She would often accompany her romance reviewer mom to book lovers' and romance writers' conventions, where she sat in on workshops and met numerous best-selling authors. It wasn't long before she was filling notebooks with her own stories, which often starred herself and a certain real-life prince.
As luck would have it, she met and married a handsome athlete instead. After several temporary residencies in multiple states and Germany, they finally settled in Michigan, the land where youth hockey reigns supreme.
Her stories no longer feature herself but draw from her past experiences as an educator, businesswoman, fashion consultant, and world traveler when creating her strong heroines. “Oh yes,” she says with a wink and a smile, “There are bits of me in all of them.” Now, she spends her days writing happily ever afters for fictional characters and her evenings at the local hockey arenas cheering for her three children.
Listen... im going to be 5 business days to recover from sobbing so hard before I can write a full review, okay?
UPDATE... its been 10 days and im still not over it.
Y'allllll. This 👏freaking👏book made me BALL MY EYES OUT. Let this be your warning to have an entire box of tissues handy because you will need them. This was so incredibly beautiful and heartfelt and emotional that it's going to be hard to put it into words.
Just read it. It will absolutely put your life in perspective and make you want to hug your family tighter and live everyday with purpose.
This may be my favorite Siena Trap book, I was a little uncertain about just having Jett's POV but very intrigued as well. It was absolutely amazing to see the storylines of the first three books through his eyes. His love for the rodeo, Daisy then the ranch and their kids was felt on every page. He grew so much as person, husband, father and grandfather. I laughed and cried while reading and loved every minute of it.
The fourth book in Rust Canyon series and at first wasn’t interested in the prequel- but why not see where it started? Wow was I so incredibly wrong! Not only a view at the start but also gave a different view to the other 3 lives that made up Rust Canyon and then what happens after.
The love that happened and was almost lost, the life of a rodeo star that has to take a detour because of life’s ups and downs. Yes this gave such an impactful story on literally pulling your bootstraps up and making the best of a rough situation. And parenthood, growing older, and stronger.
This book had me in tears on more than a few occasions- and not the small tear rolling down the cheek it was ugly crying for more than a few chapters. The ending was handled beautifully, and with so much care for these characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. I was forever moved.
Wow, I didn’t expect to relate to the characters so much. This books is about real life happenings. Not only did I relate to things happening in my own life but as Jett got older I could see my own dad in him. It is so freaking good, and just makes you feel everything for the characters. I wasn’t expecting to have so many different emotions for this book. I laughed, I cried, I didn’t want it to end!
4.0 - I recieved this as an ARC- this book was definitely not like the others in the series. I liked the fast pace travel through Jett’s life, but boy is this a tear jerker. It really is true, things change before you can blink…
Before You Blink by Siena Trap is the kind of story that grabs you by the heart and doesn’t let go. From the very first page, I was hooked by the raw emotion, the vivid small-town setting, and the undeniable chemistry between Jett and Daisy.
Jett’s voice is powerful—gritty yet tender, and his journey is so much more than chasing rodeo glory. His passion for bronc riding collides beautifully with his growing feelings for Daisy, creating a perfect balance of ambition, vulnerability, and romance. And Daisy? She’s everything you want in a heroine—strong, kind, and absolutely captivating. Their connection feels electric and deeply real.
: ✨ “Dreams get rearranged, priorities shift, and I begin to wonder if, instead of the glory I’ve been chasing on the rodeo circuit, Daisy is the prize I’ve been working toward all along.” ✨ “Life isn’t measured by the buckles you win, but by the people who make the ride worth it.” ✨ “Some moments don’t just pass by in the blink of an eye—they stay burned into your soul forever.”
This isn’t just a romance—it’s a story about love, legacy, and what truly matters when time is fleeting. Siena Trap’s writing is emotional, authentic, and beautifully poetic. If you love small-town charm, sizzling chemistry, and a cowboy who will make you swoon, this book is an absolute must-read.
What did I just read? An emotional rollercoaster that was the perfect ending to the Rust Canyon series.
It is really hard to give a spoiler free review with this one, so I’m going to keep it sweet and simple.
I never thought I would like an all male POV, but boy was I wrong. The story is Jett’s life from a young teenager to a young man chasing the rodeo circuit trying to make it big. Little did he know that his wild lifestyle would do a drastic turn when he stepped into a bar one night and met Daisy. After one night, he felt a connection that went on for the rest of his life. From building a life together to buying a ranch and building a family.
The last 20% I will warn you to keep tissues and chocolates on hand because you in for a ride of some emotional rollercoaster.
Uh I loved this so much. It was so good to get Jett and Daisy's story and was such a unique experience to have it entirely from Jett's POV. Be sure to have a box of tissues on hand when you read this book because you will need them. This was a wonderful story of how meeting the right one can change what you thought you wanted for your life and where you thought you would be.
I can’t remember the last time I cried over a book but I’m sobbing so hard over Before You Can Blink. What a beautifully written story! It started off smutty and turned so wholesome. So relatable and so sad. Siena Trap thank you for writing Jett and Daisy’s story so well 👏🏻👏🏻
ARC Review Thank you Siena Trap for this ARC Before you can Blink by Siena Trap is out NOW!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Review: Before you can Blink is Siena Trap’s fourth and final installment of her Rust Canyon series. This is Jett and Daisy’s story, and it doesn’t disappoint! Daisy is Rust Canyon’s newest teacher. She’s simply passing through. She has no intention of settling down in Rust Canyon, until she meets Jett.
Jett, travels most of the year due to the rodeo circuit. He has no intention of staying put, that is until he meets Daisy.
Life happens, and with every hardship, obstacle, and happy memory, Daisy is always there in the forefront of everything. Anchoring, Comforting, and pushing Jett in all the ways he needs it. They take everything that comes at them in stride, thus making their relationship stronger, and withstanding the test of time.
Before you can Blink is the perfect way to end our time here at Rust Canyon! Jett and Daisy’s life is so full of love, compassion, admiration, and did I mention love? There is so much love throughout this book: between Jett and Daisy, and all the secondary characters. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard while reading a book. This book pulled every heartstring. I’m still thinking about this book. Make sure you have a box of tissues handy because you’ll need them!
Add Before you can Blink to your TBR now! As always, check for trigger warnings before reading!
*types this while crying* I HAVE SO MANY EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS GOING THROUGH ME RIGHT NOW. UGH. I didn’t know it could be like this but OH MY FUCKING GOD.
From the start of this series, Jett and Daisy have been INCREDIBLE to say the least and to finally have their story, IT PUT ME IN SHAMBLES. For the fact that this book IS ALL JETT’S POV had me SHOOKETH TO THE CORE and now finally completing Jett’s story I CANNOT. My lord did this man have it hard, but also he had some of the best memories and went through some rough times but always came out in the end strong and there is no one he would want by his side than his Daisy. Their love story was one of the great ones and I have had such a privilege to be able to read their story as it shared moments before the rest of the series, during, and after. All I can say is, that now I finally understand why Jett was so hard on Tripp and I don’t blame him AT ALL for what he said and why he said it because he didn’t want Tripp going through the same hardships that he had to deal with and that just makes me WANT TO CRY MORE. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that Daisy was and is AMAZING. From the beginning, I LOVED her and seeing her in this new light was such an incredible thing to witness and I don’t think there could have been a better woman out there for THE Jett Sullivan.
Not to mention seeing the rest of the gang continue to grow, share their love that they found with each other and have a look into their own children was just a sight to see and again MADE ME FUCKING CRY. I will always LOVE this series, and I can’t wait to see what’s instore next from Siena! <3
This was an amazing and intensely emotional end to the Rust Canyon series. I laughed, I cried, I was overwhelmed, I felt nostalgic. It was a lot but in a beautiful & cathartic way.
Jett and Daisy are the focus of this romance. We've met them as side characters in the first three stories in this series, but this time, their lives and love are taking centre stage.
This story is told entirely from Jett's perspective - the good, the bad, the sad, the misunderstood. I wasn't sure how that would feel because it has been a bit since I've read a single perspective and I loved it. I loved his story. I loved getting to know his heart and understand him. Especially around his and Tripp's relationship. And I see why it was single perspective. There was no other way to tell this story.
Full disclosure, I think I started crying in chapter two and didn't stop until well after the last page. I was fully sobbing by the last few chapters. And I keep making myself cry writing this as I think back to and re-read important bits. Pro tip, don't read on the bus if you use public transit.
I received this as an ARC and am so grateful. The advance copy had zero influence on my review. My review is based entirely on the content & quality of the story.
I absolutely adored this book and my brain & heart love the way Siena writes her characters and the community she built in Rust Canyon.
It wasn’t just emotional, I felt connected to Jett in a strange, familiar way, and Daisy brought such a quiet strength to every page. Their journey felt honest, raw, and so full of heart. I cried more than once. Jett’s story really showed how life can flip everything around, and what it means to grow through it. There was pain, but there was beauty too. The writing had this emotional rhythm that made it hard to put the book down. And I loved that was entirely from Jett’s POV, it was different and well built. I finished it with my heart full and a lump in my throat. Prepare your tissues, but it would be worth it. Thank you so much to the author and Luna Literary PR for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.
This was the perfect ending to this series! I loved seeing the story of Jett and Daisy, and getting to see all of the Rustic Canyon characters in the future! This book made all of my emotions come out. I laughed hard and cried harder! What a beautiful, yet heartbreaking story of love and life!!! The Sullivan family will forever be a part of my soul!!!
This book is special. It follows Jett Sullivan throughout his entire life and boy what a ride it was. The book is beautifully written with humor, love and heartbreak . It was a perfect ending to the series and I’m gutted to see it end. I did ugly cry in the end and you will to
5 ⭐️
Thank you to Siena trap for the arc copy. It’s an honor to be on your team!
Lord have mercy. I was not emotionally prepared for this amazing story of where it all began in Rust Canyon. Jett and Daisy have the most beautiful story from start to finish that will leave you laughing and crying at the same time.
I absolutely adore this book. Siena has woven a beautiful story depicting such an amazing life and love story. it is so real and raw and so full of emotion. so well done.
Have you ever heard of the song Don't Blink by Kenny Chesney? This book is that song!
Before You Can Blink is an amazing story of Jett Sullivan's life from child, to bronc rider, to husband, to grandpa. I cried, sobbed, laughed, and everything inbetween. I fear I always say this was my favorite every time I read one of Siena's books. This is truly my favorite book she has written. I will be thinking of this book for weeks to come. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book should have been sponsored by Kleenex 😭😭
I knew the ending of The Rust Canyon Series would be sad but nothing could have prepared me for this 😫
If you have read any of The Rust Canyon Series then you have briefly met Jett and Daisy in the other books. In this book we got to see their before journeys and extensions on some of the other books in the series.
I feel like this book probably hit home for a different people in different ways. From people who became parents when they didn’t have a lot to work with but did right by their families. New parents who had no idea what they were doing but knew they loved their kids enough to figure it out. And just so many other different perspectives that I could go on for days!
As well as seeing the early years of Jett and Daisy I also really loved getting more of all the kids stories after their individual books ended! It was nice to see how everything played out and is the perfect set up for hopefully a second generation series maybe one day down the line 😬😬
To everybody that wants to read this….have tissues on deck for the later chapters 😅😅
“Before You Can Blink” is the fourth and final book in the “Rust Canyon Series.” “Every day you wake up, you have no idea if it could be your last. Gotta make the most of what time you’re granted on this earth.” At age sixteen Jett became the man of the house when his dad passed away at age forty, leaving his mum Betsy, at the age of thirty eight, a widow. You’re the man of the house now. “You have to make sure she’s taken care of. That’s what Pop would expect from you.”
“Every day you wake up, you have no idea if it could be your last. Gotta make the most of what time you’re granted on this earth.” This was Jett’s renewed purpose - it was time to take charge and live his life. He was determined that when he eventually left this earth, it would be on his terms and no one else’s! Today may have been the last day of his father’s life, but it marked the first day of his. He heads out to Livingston Ranch to talk to Murphy Tripplett - to train him to be a bareback bronc rider. He goes on the road with Murphy and his wife, Layla. “She was the one keeping an eye on the standings, strategizing based on which horses we pulled, and managing all of our winnings.”
At the age of twenty one, whilst back in Rust Canyon, his eyes land on a curvy brunette seated at the far end of the bar. When she turned and looked at him, he realised that she was not a local girl. Jett made a vow that he would never date a girl that called Rust Canyon home as they were the “ones where if you took them to bed, they expected a marriage proposal the following morning….” Daisy Morrison is a teacher at the local primary school and she has Jett most intrigued.
“If I was smart, I’d call it a night now and walk away before I got in too deep with someone who wanted more than I was willing to give. But something I couldn’t explain kept my ass glued to that barstool beside Daisy, eager to learn everything there was to know about her.”
Jett doesn’t want to get married, he doesn’t want children, but with Daisy, he sees a future that is the complete opposite of what he thought he wanted. He likes this girl, not only was she pretty, she was easy to talk to and he enjoyed her company. Now he is meeting her at The Waterhole every night for a drink but I “wasn’t the type of guy who would be able to give her marriage, babies, or the white picket fence.” There is “denying I was getting attached to the incredible woman in my arms.” Being on the road for a month and not seeing Daisy, he is missing her so much! When she tells him that she has been offered a permanent job in Maryland, he knew he could not let her go.
“I have absolutely nothing to offer you. I don’t have a place of my own where we can live, no job security, and if this ring hadn’t been promised to me, I wouldn’t be able to afford one. But I’m so in love with you, Daisy, that I can’t let you go. So here I am, on my knees, begging you to marry me because the idea of not spending every day with you for the rest of my life makes me feel like I’m dying inside.”
Forever with the love of my life began today Jett and Daisy now start building their lives together - a love that is “until death do us part.” A love that knows no bounds and is forever - through the good times and the bad times, they weather everything together. Not long after the wedding, Jet is badly hurt when thrown from a bronc, after surgery he finds out that he is going to become a dad. “…. Jett. I’m so happy about this little life we’ve created. It’s a piece of you and a piece of me, and already, I love it so much.”
“The message was crystal clear: playtime was over. With a wife and baby counting on me, I had no choice but to grow up.” Jett buys a ranch that is in foreclosure of just over two thousand acres where he can breed bucking broncos for the rodeo - building a future together, forever. Most importantly, a home for himself, Daisy, their children and future grandchildren….a future for generations to come.
This book has everything you expect from another great Siena read! There is laughter, there is tears, love that lasts decades through the good times and the bad times. Jett and Daisy are each other’s strengths - you will fall in love with them over and over again. Once I started reading, I could not put this book down! At times you will laugh, you will cry, get angry and frustrated - most of all, you will love the twists! Please note that tissues will be needed. This book will charm “the pants off you” and leave you going back for more. Most of all, this story will make you smile. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story. This is a lovely book that will keep you hooked from start to finish. From page to page, chapter to chapter, from cover to cover - you will enjoy this beautiful story! This book will not disappoint! Highly recommended 😊
What an ending to an amazing series! This book has an infinity star rating for me. I cannot tell you how much I loved it, how much I cried, and how these characters are real people to me. Absolutely amazing.
The book played out like a movie in my head. Not only that, I am actually manifesting into the world that this series be picked up and turned into a limited series for some online streaming platform. I think 5 episodes are more than enough. I should play out similar to the movie adaptation of The Notebook or Forrest Gump, where Jett Sullivan is the narrarator of the entire story and the plot of the books Festive Faking, Coming Home Country and Crashing the Altar are sprinkled in to different episodes, each obviously being the main focus of their own episode for their storyline.
I knew, just knew after Crashing the Altar that the last installment of Rust Canyon was going to destroy me. I was prepared to get emotional during Before You Can Blink, and I knew I was going to need my tissues nearby, but when Siena announced the tropes and other details of this book, I had to mentally prepare myself. I was right. I think I started crying with the first or second chapter and I pretty much didn't stop until the end.
This isn't just a love story between Jett and Daisy. It isn't about the difficult decision of Jett letting his dream as a bronco rider go in exchange for taking care of his wife and children. This whole book is a love letter to life in general. It is the recognition and gratitude of building a legacy through the ones you love. Jett found his soulmate and eternal partner in Daisy, and together they built a family that they absolutely loved and that adored them in return.
This story also came at a time when it hit a little closer to home for me. Five weeks before its release, my family lost my mother-in-law. She struggled to recover from two strokes she had 18 months ago, and then battled stomach cancer in the last month of her life. I watched my father-in-law say goodbye to his wife of 57 years, 50 weeks, and 2 days. They had been together since they were teenagers, and now I am watching him struggle to live day by day alone. I have watched my husband and his brothers continue with life after losing their mother, and I have to explain to my children why it was time for their grandmother to go. Jett and Daisy's life is a reminder to cherish family.
Thank you to Siena and her team for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC copy of this book. Along with the rest of the series, it has been added to my list of books I must re-read multiple times. I absolutely loved them all.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and now I’m kicking myself for not starting the Rust Canyon series sooner! Even though Before You Can Blink is the fourth in the series, it works beautifully as a standalone. The side characters are well-developed, and the story gives you enough history to settle right in without feeling like you’ve missed anything.
What completely stole my heart was the male-only POV. Jett is a true class act — strong, stubborn, a little rough around the edges, but with so much depth. Watching him wrestle with his dreams of rodeo glory while slowly realising that Daisy might be the prize he didn’t even know he was chasing was incredibly moving. Daisy, in turn, is the perfect complement; soft yet quietly strong, fiercely devoted, and impossible not to root for. Imagine having her as a grandma? 🥹🩷
Though there’s instant attraction between Jett & Daisy, their relationship unfolds slowly and authentically. From stolen kisses to building a real partnership over time, the story leans into small-town, friends-to-lovers, and found family vibes (or create your own? 😅) in such a heartwarming way.
The writing is impressive — emotional without being overdone, and the author captures Jett’s voice so well you almost hear every “darlin’” spoken aloud. Each chapter reads like a snapshot in time, carrying you through Jett’s entire life. And while the time jumps do require a little attention, they add to the richness of the journey, reminding you that life is made up of both the big milestones and the everyday moments in between.
What I especially loved was how the title’s meaning is layered throughout the story — not only as a reminder that life passes in the blink of an eye, but also how everything can change in an instant. This is beautifully (and heartbreakingly) underscored when Jett suffers a serious injury that could have cost him his life and what a different story that would have been!
This book gave me everything!! I laughed, I swooned, I cried. And by the end, my heart was both shattered and healed. It’s a love story, yes, it's spicy, yes, but more than that, it’s a reminder to savor every fleeting moment.
If you love small-town romances with deep emotion, heartfelt characters, and a perspective you don’t often see in the genre, this one is a must-read.
Thank you Luna Literary for the ARC and Siena Trap for the beautiful reminder that life is fleeting (I'm going to go hug my babies a little tighter after this! 🩷) .
I’m not sure what to say about this book. When I signed up to receive an eARC, I knew it was the fourth book in a series. It was recommended that for optimal reading experience, readers should read the other books in the series. However, it was also indicated that this book could be read as a standalone. Based on this indication, I figured I would miss some background information, but that it would still be okay.
To be completely honest, I read the ‘spoiler reviews’ of the other three books to understand what information I would miss when reading Before You Can Blink. When it came to the plot, I didn’t feel that it interfered with my reading. However, I struggled to emotionally connect with the characters—especially after reading other reviews of Before You Can Blink where reviewers often mentioned that reading Jett and Daisy’s story had been a real joy for them.
Being able to connect with characters is really important to me. The way the book is written—with chapters from Jett’s POV at different stages of his life—was confusing at first and another reason I had trouble getting into it.
Clearly, my opinion of this book is a ‘me problem’ rather than a critique of Siena Trap’s writing talent because I really liked her style. She knows exactly how to convey emotions. I understand that people who knew Jett and Daisy from the first three books experienced a myriad of feelings while reading Before You Can Blink. Even though I didn’t connect with the characters, I wasn’t immune to what awaited me in the last quarter of the book.
I wish I could have loved this book as much as it deserves. This will teach me not to sign up for eARCs that are part of a series with more than one published book already released. To end on a positive note, Before You Can Blink made me want to read other books by Siena Trap—and I promise I’ll start with the first book in the series this time!
Many thanks to Siena Trap and Luna Literary Management for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of Before You Can Blink. This review is my own. All opinions expressed are mine.
Wow this book made me cry so hard at the bittersweet ending. When I say I cried, I ugly cried. The last couple chapters had me in a chokehold. I knew that she was wrapping up his life but getting there was hard. Life is short and in the end that's what this book was really about. This book really brought this series full circle. It started out with a young Jett and followed him all the way to the end of his life. Talking about life ending is never easy but it is life. We are all guaranteed an end to our lives and the author did such a fantastic job of dealing with that aspect of life in a bittersweet but realistic way. We first met Jett in Aspen and Mac's book. You know he is the patriarch of the Sullivan family. He sacrificed a lot for his family. In this book we get to see Jett as a young boy not knowing what he wanted out of life to finding something he loved doing. He thought he was not a man to fall in love, but of course life had other plans for him. In walks Daisy. The love of his life and his soul mate. She scarified a lot for him and to be with him. She was a strong woman. When life threw them curveballs they always readjusted their lives to accommodate the new growing pains or hiccups that life threw in their way. Through it all they had each other and survived and thrived because of their love and commitment to not only each other but their family and friends. We got to see them meet, fall in love, get married, have their first child, start a business, have another child, then the story moved on to the kids growing up. We got to revisit all of the old couples and see what they are up to and how their lives have changed and evolved through their parents eyes. We got to witness the grandkids growing up and starting their lives. As their life evolved into new phases they also had new challenges. Through all those life events, they never stopped loving each other or rooting for each other. This is the ultimate HEA even though their is a bittersweetness to the story. I highly recommend this series. I cannot wait to see what else Siena has in store for us. Maybe we will even get a second generation story or two in the future.

REVIEW:
Jett's a rodeo cowboy/bronc rider who travels the rodeo circuit for the majority of the year. Daisy is a teacher who blows into town on a whim and changes everything Jett thought he wanted in life. Throughout their story, you see the highs and lows of their marriage, but through it all, Daisy is Jett's anchor, and they work through any issue that threatens to come at them.
Jett and Daisy also have a spicy side, and we learn ALL about it, particularly when Jett learns that Daisy has never 💥💥without the assistance of other devices. Jett embraces this with Daisy, and we truly see it throughout the entirety of the novel. And the MOUTHS on both of them...the truck scene? The motel scene with the ring? The laundry room scene? 🥵🥵🥵 Toys truly are teammates!
I honestly didn't know where to even begin with this review. Everything about this book was perfection. I fell in love with Jett and Daisy throughout the other Rust Canyon novels, but seeing how their story came together was just what we needed to round out this series.
When I tell you that this book made be SOB, I am not exaggerating. I was up until 4:00 a.m. to finish this book because, once you hit a certain spot, you just can't put it down without finishing it. I did not expect to relate to characters in a book the way I did with this one (based on my own life experiences), but they made the tears fall even faster. I don't know what Siena put into this book, but you need to ensure that you have plenty of Kleenex nearby (and if you can read it without crying, please teach me your ways). I don't know how I'm supposed to pick up another book right now...I just...😥
Oh lord, I don’t even know where to start. Just finished reading the book and I am in tears, still crying and processing my emotions. This book is so perfect, especially the ending of the novel 😭 it truly made me feel at peace with my loved ones who have passed away and know that they are looking over us 🥹
I have absolutely no words but a huge round of applause for Siena Trap and this fantastic novel that showcases Jett and Daisy’s love and their journey to becoming a family. Siena’s writing style was to die for and although it was all in Jett’s point of view, I wouldn’t have it any other way !! The way we see how much Jett loves Daisy, and when he realizes that he is in love with Daisy, his declaration of love just melts my heart 🥹🙂↕️
This book is honestly the best one out of the whole series because it takes you back to how Jett and Daisy first met and how the kids came to be 🥹🥹and honestly the fact that Jett didn’t want kids in the first place and Aspen just came along and changed his whole world made me tear up! This book was the epitome of two people who fell in love, and did whatever they could to make their dreams come true. Despite the rough nights, they stuck with each other and made it work, for themselves and for their kids.
The last couple of chapters had me sobbing and I couldn’t stop crying bc that’s what life is all about 😭 when you find the love of your life, you want to be with them, through the good and bad times and that’s exactly what these two did 🥹 Jesus Christ I couldn’t stop crying towards the end of the book, so grab your tissues bc you are gonna need them!! I was lucky enough to read this book and fully break down in tears when the cycle of life happened !!!!! Highly recommend if anyone wants to read a true romance between two people who had the odds stacked against them. But they came through and made it, through the up’s and downs, they made it and were able to live a long life, seeing their grandchildren and love each other ❤️❤️
Tell me why this book made me bawl my eyes out. I cried before bed, I cried before work, and then I got home… cried again. I literally texted my grandma telling her I needed to hang out with her and my papa because of this book (iykyk). This book really was an emotional roller coaster in all the best (and saddest) ways. It really does put life into perspective and makes you really appreciate the family around you.
This might be my favorite book of Siena Traps so far (I feel like I say this every time) but I’ve truly never had a book make me feel for the characters this deeply. Growing up in a small town I can relate to some of the small town experiences mentioned. I’ve found little bits of myself in each of the characters in Rust Canyon.
Jett and Daisy are proof that true love can get you through everything, even the lowest of lows. Their marriage and their bond with their family and friends has been strong throughout the Rust Canyon series. Getting to see Jett’s POV throughout this book and getting to see his perspective on the events of the last three books, gives us more context and lets us see a side of Jett we normally don’t see. I’m sad to be leaving Rust Canyon behind, I’m not ready for it to end.🥲
Despite all the loss and grief mentioned in this book there are a lot of happy moments and your fair share of spice! 😉 This book truly has it all and I don’t think we could’ve had a better ending to the Rust Canyon series (just please don’t make me cry like that again😭).
Overall I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this ARC team and cannot wait for the Bellini Mafia series!

Y'all. This book. I had to take a day to really think about it and let my feelings sink after this book. I never thought I would find a book that would top Scoring the Princess, but this one did it. I am not a cryer. But Siena got me with this one. When I tell you I SOBBED the last 5%. This is my favorite book from her now, for the year and ever. I loved it so dang much.
Daisy. I absolutely loved Daisy. Everything about her. She comes into town thinking it's just a stop along the way. She's a teacher, sweet, hilarious, is stubborn and has an attitude. Watching her grow to love the town of Ranson Canyon and everyone in it. I also loved seeing Daisy before she was a wife and mama. Seeing the woman she was when she first came to Rust Canyon.
Jett. I loved this man. And I loved that the book was in his point of view. I loved the man he was. He was just everything you would want in a man, husband and a father. He started off as your normal bronc rider that didn't want to be married or have a family. Watching the growth of Jett was just incredible. I loved it. His love for his mom and dad even though his mom embarressed him she was hilarious! I loved her.
Jett & Daisy. This story. Their story. I loved it all. From beginning to end. I absolutley LOVE the parents in most books/series and they never get their own book/story and I was beyond excited for their and my expectations were high and Sienna knocked it further than out of the park. Their love for each other was stead fast. I love that Daisy can put Jett in his place. I love the way he loved her. I love the way they always supported each other. Reading the entire love story from start to end was literally pure magic and I couldn't have asked for anything better. They really were the perfect fit for one another. She changed him in ways he couldn't imagine. Their love story is what most people dream of having in their lifetime. ❤️
🏡 Full Circle in Rust Canyon – Jett & Daisy’s Story 💔❤️
Coming back to Rust Canyon always feels like coming home — and this final installment wrapped me in a warm hug, then promptly wrecked me in the best possible way. 😭✨ Who knew Betsy Sullivan had that much sass from the very beginning?! Before she was the sharp-tongued Meemaw we’ve come to love, she was a firecracker of a Ma — and her one-liners in this book were chef’s kiss. 💅🔥 This was the long-awaited story of Jett and Daisy — their love before the Sullivan clan bloomed, their struggles, their resilience, and the quiet strength that carried them through it all. From humble beginnings to heartfelt endings, their journey had me laughing one minute and reaching for tissues the next. 😭💕 Told entirely from Jett’s POV, this book dives deep into the joys, pains, sacrifices, and unwavering love that shaped their life together and raised the Sullivan legacy. It beautifully tied together the past and present — especially seeing how Jett watched over Aspen, Mac, Penny, and Tripp as their own love stories unfolded. This finale was emotional, raw, nostalgic, and so satisfying. I love that the series ended here instead of starting with this story — it gave such powerful perspective and depth to everything that came before. I couldn’t have asked for a more heartfelt goodbye. 🥹💛
