About the author

Kate Prada is not a role model. Thanks to years of minimal impulse control, a poor sense of self preservation, and many a rough morning (usually following a good night) Kate has mastered the art of spinning her shenanigans into a good tale. She believes there is always a way to find the bright side, lesson, or punchline, and if we can’t laugh at ourselves, then what’s the point? Kate settled down (slightly) as she began the slow descent into middle age, but never lost her love of storytelling. It wasn’t until the stories got so loud, they kept her up at night (or as the professionals call it–insomnia) that she started to write them down. Several gritty, yet graceful characters were born, along with the loveable lugs that put up with their nonsense. She loves these characters with all her heart but is always blown away when her readers love them just as much.
When Kate isn’t story crafting, she’s networking and collaborating with fellow authors on the Romance Riot Discord, gardening, trying to convince her kid that their house is not a set for the latest Jackass movie, and sewing.

I waited a while for Lox and had the absolute privilege of being able to beta read it before it came out. I rarely reread but after the first read I knew I'd be back for seconds once it was released. Have you ever had a book that made you cry not just the first time you read it, but the second time too? This book did that to me.
Brittney is a woman finally ready to find her own strength after life stole her crown and Lachlan is the man who wants to place her crown back on her head.
I knew after reading Shadow (Wraith Series by Kate Prada) that she would write spice that wasn't just hot but would give you all the emotions too. Kate does tension, heat, and heart like no other.
I absolutely adored this book and look forward to the return of Ink and Trouble with all of the future books.

worth the wait!

Lox!!! Finally!! This story was fast paced, full of suspense, excitement, heart smooshes, and a dash of steam! The characters are all phenomenal, but Lox steals the show! I am going to reread immediately!! I cannot wait for more of this series!!

I really enjoyed this book. A good story, it intertwined with the other books in the series so I was confused for a bit but I picked up pretty quickly.

A little predictable but a twist here and there was exciting, the FMC is really helpless with the MMC swooping in to protect her and save the day.

You have inked men and damsel in distress, perfect storyline with a HEA ending. What’s not to love?

Book 2 in the series, possibly a duology. Excellent. Funny, sweet, hot, amazing and well-developed characters. Kate is a new auto read for me.
