Promise’s life is thrown into chaos when the dark, painful secrets she’s spent years avoiding suddenly explode into her world, leaving nothing untouched. As the truths come out, so do the lies that have been holding her relationships together, unraveling them thread by thread. Betrayals cut deep, and the people Promise once leaned on have now become the very ones tearing her down.
When her estranged sister storms back into her life, bringing with her a flood of old grudges and bitter memories, Promise is left scrambling to hold on to the pieces of her shattered reality. Long-buried tensions erupt, friendships crumble, and enemies emerge in places she never expected. The weight of it all drives her closer to a breaking point, forcing her to question not just the people around her, but her own decisions and the path she’s chosen.
Promise and Kamal’s journey is one marked by loyalty, deception, and the desperate fight for redemption. With family feuds, personal losses, and the search for truth always looming, the stakes have never been higher. No one is safe, and everyone has something to lose.

Whew challe! Lemme get on Promise for a minute! Sis irked the hell out of me! I get her being upset with Kamal, but for Christ sake she really took it too far! She needed space understandable, but she called the one person she knows Kamal can't stand! I don't know how everyone could see what he was up to except her! Marcel really was a piece of shit! For once in his life, he could have made it right with Promise after all the secrets came spilling out! He decided to take the other route and Alana being so delusional really thought he was going to lead her to revenge! I don't even know what to say about London, but I'm glad she came around and at the very least tried to patch up her wrongs. From book 1, I loved Deja and Don together! I'm so glad to see that their relationship really progressed in this finale! Dejas's parents OMG; especially her dad! If we're being honest, her mother really wasn't any better because she had plenty of chances to put her foot down to her husband! From he showed he was cool with Knox putting hands on his daughter, it was a wrap for me! Alana cost so many people lives and it's so crazy because she had all this hate for the one person that actually did right by her son! Yh, I get it! She had mental issues, but golly she took it to a whole new level! Don stepped into his big brother role perfectly and I loved that for them! He was already a great friend to Promise on the strength of Deja and Kamal, but that big brother title held something different for them! After it was all said and done, Telly's death was not in vain! A guardian angel over his loved ones! Marriage and babies everywhere! I love it! Great read!
This part two was just what I hoped it would be. It took me through so many emotions it was crazy. I was glad it was who I thought it was that caused Promise’s accident but the person who did definitely got what was coming to them. Finding out that Don is her brother wasn’t even a shock to me & I’m glad he is, & he takes his new title very seriously. Telly and Deja are the absolute best friends she has been blessed with esp seeing how Marcel, London and Alana treated her and Jayce. To make a kid feel any type of way for not choosing is wild as hell, not to mention messed up. Kamal and Promise being a part did help them heal a lil more than before but Kamal messed up by doing what he did. She was warned about Kendrick but I didn’t think he would go as far as he did esp while working with Marcel. Kamal and Don are definitely book baes because they stand on business about their women, families and ppl around them. London pissed me off with het way of thinking bc she let Marcel mistreat Promise like it was second nature because she messed up. I’m happy Don finally took the first step in talking to his mom and got not only some understanding but a lil closure. Alana may have had mental issues but that’s no excuse for what she did to not only Promise & Jayce but Telly as well. I’m happy to say both women got their happy endings and so much more. Jayce is a well rounded young man who was raised with morals, respect and so much love bc Promise did the right thing by taking him. If want all of the juicy details in between you’re gonna grab it and dive in. This is definitely a great series by Mollysha and I’m looking forward to more from her in the future.
Mollysha did an amazing job. This book picked up and flowed so effortless like the last book. Marcel was a real sick individual but he was also a coward. He manipulated people into doing his dirty work because he wasn't man enough to do it on his own. He and the rest of his lil minions deserved to meet the Reaper. I'm glad Promise and Kamal was able to work through their mess. I was bugging a little bit tho and she knew it, that why she handled the Denise situation with grace but she had to go. I love the bond Dejah and Don have. He ain't playing with nobody when it comes to Dejah. I'm glad everyone was able to move on happily even after losing someone that meant the world to them.💛💛
Loved the way it ended and I am so happy for Promise, Kamal, Jayce, Deja and Don and their little families. Alana and her bastard father, Kendrick, Ginger and Jayce daddy got what they deserved for what they did to Telly. All that hate they showed and for what karma came and bit them in the a*s.
This book was amazing, it touched on so many aspects of life. Promise sister had a mental illness that caused her to hate her sister and son. Their parents withheld this information from promise which caused all the coax and the death of my boy Telli. This book was amazing and I hate that I want hear anymore of Telli
First things first, rest in peace to one of the realest. Definitely didn’t deserve that and that broke me all the way. Le sigh… I’m sad this series is over, but it ended well. Every stone was unturned. Promise lived a life is lies. Her whole family was a lie. I’m glad she finally got her happy ending. Love Deja and Don. Great series
I hate this came to an end but it was everything and more. You'll laugh, cry and be pissed with circumstances. But you'll give this series 5 stars! Don't miss out on promise and her crew. You'll regret it
Dang Markel was really an evil man right along with his daughter but they couldn’t escape that thing called karma. I’m glad Promise and Kamal got their happy ending and so did Don and Deja. Good 2 book series.
I’m still processing everything that went down. It was a lot. Kamal was messing up big time. I was just glad that they worked it out. I loved Don and Deja’s love story best because they didn’t play about each other. Don was on Deja hard from start to finish.
I loved this and I’m so glad you didn’t drag it. Growing towards the end I was for sure it would a three. I loved everybody in this book. Kept on my toes. I cried and laughed. R.I.H Telly
That man did not deserve to die! I dislike how quick Kamal cheating was glossed over I wish my sis would at least slept with Kendrick as get back then she could of called a truce.
What an ending to this outstanding series! Mollysha, hats off to you for your exceptional story telling! Promise, Kamal, Don and Deja, I love them all! Promise to keep writing like this!
