This book contains homosexual content, violence and strong language. This book is part of a series, it is not meant to be read as a standalone. Please read Justice for Skylar and At Year's End before reading this book. Cole Ryker has been a man on a mission since the second he laid eyes on tall, dark and dirty-talking Ross Collins. That mission? To get the macho Delta Force soldier into his bed and out of his head, putting an end to his obsession. When Ross finally agrees to a date, Cole is overjoyed - and, frankly, rather surprised. Ross is like no man he's ever met. When one date leads to another and another, the men struggle to sort out their feelings. Ross Collins is in full command of everything in his life. When Cole Ryker hits on him - and keeps hitting on him - something in Ross is drawn to the confident firefighter and the uncertainty that comes with letting someone else take the lead. Time with Cole is intoxicating, unlike anything Ross could have imagined. He's falling fast and Cole is right there with him. But everyone has secrets, don't they? Ross is hiding the fact that he's a werewolf, and Cole is terrified his own past relationship will ruin any chance he has of finding happiness with Ross. There's also the matter of a man from Ross' past who's pretty determined to stake his own claim on the soldier. Truths explode as quickly and terrifying as a five-alarm fire, putting relationships in jeopardy and loved ones in danger. Is there an escape or will their love turn to ashes?

I have been blessed in this life to not only have parents that support me, but kids that do as well. I grew up in a loving but "Old School" French household. My parents worked for the airlines (TWA) so I was able to see a lot of Europe as a kid. I moved to Seattle Washington at the age of 22 and stayed there for twelve years before moving to Alaska for a little over two. Fairbanks, AK was one hell of an experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! I spent a little over a year in South Carolina before moving back to Arizona. I then left for Kansas for five years and now reside in Arizona. I've been connected to the military in one way or another for over half my life and wouldn't change a thing about it. Writing has become my full time job and I've never been so happy doing a job I love and being able to do it in my jammies. I plan on writing until I dry up and die. Hopefully, that won't happen soon!

"Why doesn't he want me?"
"Because you come off like a starving hooker?"

After reading so many of these books...you would think one would begin lose interest after book 21. But NOT with the Assassin/Shifter series. Each book is unique and brings something new and special to the series. It keeps you intrigued and eager to read the next, anticipating who the story is about and what they'll go through next.
description

When starting this book, I assumed I'll be receiving plenty of scenes with characters trying to dominate the other, with their alpha male personalities. What I didn't know is, underneath that tough exterior...lay sweet, vulnerable and caring men. Ross and Cole were the ultimate match. They each had their reasons to be afraid to open up and share their past...and in Ross' case, his true self. But seeing a connection, a need for the other, pushes the two to reveal the fears and secrets and let the other in. But not all secrets revealed van be taken lightly...and some may seem impossible to accept.

Ross stared at the amazing ass Cole Ryker was displaying for him. Fuck, but it was round and plump - the perfect bottoming ass.
description

Ross wishes to be find his mate...to trigger the mating bond with another. But after an unsuccessful attempt, with fellow werewolf Stuart, Ross loses hope of finding that connection any time soon. But that doesn't stop the the attraction he feels towards Cole...and the need to watch and crave the other man. After deciding to keep his distance, Ross takes a chance and accepts the dinner invitation from Cole. And soon discovers the hunky, overly forward and eager Cole, has more hidden layers, then the eye can see.
description

Cole desires and wants the strong, smart and sexy Ross. But his eagerness to win over Ross...may be the cause of losing his chance with Ross. Cole is surprised, nervous and overjoyed, when Ross gives him a chance and agrees to dinner. Cole soon realizes that having Ross once...was never going to be enough. He needs to put his fear aside and give Ross the chance to see the true him. But can he trust his heart and body with another? Or will he lose the one good thing that's ever happened to him?

Ross just needed to peel back the layers to see the true Cole.
description

Heartache, tears, joy and love...all featured and experienced while reading this book. Its a beautiful feeling, to read about two strong characters finding each other and giving their all to the relationship. I thoroughly enjoyed this read, with all its drama, humor, action scenes and smexy men. It felt like I was revisiting family, when reading about the characters featured in previous books. By the end, I was satisfied...but YES, craving the next. That's just what Sandrine's books do to you...they keep you wanting more.

RECOMMENDED: THE SERIES AND THIS BOOK!!

I wish I hadn't bought everything in this series. After the first couple, they consistently just weren't any good. The characters aren't as developed, there are too many of the old characters brought in to each story, and the story lines seem weak. I spent most of my time skimming.

There are not many series of books out there that leave you as excited now as you were in the beginning when you are waiting for Book 22. Yes! That’s right....Book 22! I am a huge fan of this series, it never gets old and at the end of every single one Sandrine leaves you wanting the next story and wanting it quickly. These books may all have a theme and a HEA but they are all unique.
My advice is to start with book one if you are new to the Assassin/Shifter books. Each story blends seamlessly into the next and all the characters are a pleasure to meet. There are a lot of strong friendships built along the way as this group of paranormals fight for their place and safety in the world.
We have been teased with Ross and Coles story in previous books, never quite sure whether Cole had blown it from the start with his brash and crude manner. Ross maybe Delta Force but he is a very sensitive soul with a big secret. Cole, as we discover hides behind a mask of indifference and is not quite the confident and brash man everyone thinks he is.
When Ross finally agrees to a date with the man that has annoyed him and turned him on for the last few months nobody is more surprised than Cole. Cole is sent into a panic and for the first time we get a glimpse of how unsure of himself he really is and how his previous relationship still affects him. All goes well on the date until the very end when Cole practically ‘eats face’ trying to kiss Ross and the words Ross throws at him hurt him and he runs.
As usual there is a lot of action and still the mystery of who is running the rogues operation and it is great to meet up with a lot of the other men in the series. The thing for me in this story though was the actual romance. We finally get to see what makes these two men tick and who they really are and it proves that appearances can be deceptive. They may have taken forever to get to this point but when it finally happens it is explosive.
When Cole is injured at work things have to very quickly change and as more secrets are revealed that also involve his family Cole is left frightened and alone. Shocked at what he has learned and scared about what it means he has no idea who to trust or turn to. When his younger brothers safety and life is also on the line he finally realises what is important but fears it is too late.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series and hope soon to be reading more about the mysterious Lev. I have my fingers firmly crossed that Chaz will finally get his answers now he knows about paranormal life and may even get a happy ending!

I feel like I have been waiting FOREVER for Ross and Cole, but in the end it really wasn't that long :)

I really liked these 2 in previous books, but them together?! LOVE! I loved how Ross put Cole in his place--a lot. I loved how Cole wanted approval from people. He really truly wanted to be worthy of Ross. I always thought there was more to Cole and his behavior was a mask. I didn't understand why so many people didn't really like him and Chaz. I mean, I guess I can sort of see it, but I really liked them.

I thought Cole's reaction was real! I mean, could you imagine? EEK! There's too many "oh, it's no big deal" or "I always thought there was something different about you." going around. Cole was a breath of fresh air in that department. I thought Ross went a little overboard in his reaction, but whatever.

We meet Calvin in this and oh holy hell. I love me some Calvin...

Then we see Chaz and Lev. Interesting. Wonder how this is going to play out...

Waiting for more of the 12 Olympians, because I really love those boys.

I love how this series is over 22 books long, but I can still see a difference in characters. I would like to see more of the 'older' ones though--like Troy and Sawyer and Josh and Mark.

I'll be waiting for more :) I LOVE this series!!!

5 STARS!!!!!!

This far in to series I am usually board (plot lines never change and the stories all start reading the same) but not with these books. You know from the start your going to get a great love story but it just seems they all play out so differently. Plus you get great action and lots of ass kicking. Every time I start a new book it's like coming home to a family you haven't seen in awhile. I normally have a hard time remembering characters and who belongs with who but not with Sandy's books she makes the characters so unique and special they just stand out and are unforgettable.

Cole is this tough firefighter playboy that comes off really strong when trying to get Ross's attention. The times we get to see him in other books I just rolled my eyes at him and thought to myself really. But then we learn his secret of why he is like this and at this point I just want to give him and hug and never let him go.

Ross (Dirty Ross lol) is this badass specials forces guy. When I picture this type of man I don't see the sweet insecure guy that just wants taken care of.

Cole and Ross were perfect together (minus Cole's big f*uk up in the hospital). You get hearts and flowers and some really sweet moments.

The best part of these books we always get new characters and potential love interest that always leave you ready for the next book.

This is a series that I would recommend to anybody that loves m/m romance and the paranormal world. But these books do need to be read in order.

Crack addiction well and truly satisfied!!! Well at least for a little while. This was just plain fabulous and felt like a return to the early books of the series where the focus was on the characters and not necessarily as much on the nasty rogue threat. I really got to enjoy Cole and Ross discovering each other and sure there’s a bit of danger thrown in (it wouldn’t be a Sandy book if there wasn’t), but this was all about the boyos ultimately.

Cole Ryker was wanted a piece of Ross Collins’ ass since the minute he laid eyes on him. He was determined to nail the man and get him out of his head. Cole wasn’t ready to be so obsessed with a man and while his style of attack may have worked on the twinks he’d been known to take home every night so far it hasn’t done anything but piss of Ross Collins.

Ross finds Cole’s overbearing seduction attempts obnoxious to say the least. Sure he’s noticed how attractive the man is, who wouldn’t, but he’s not interested at all in taking that ego to bed. Still he finds himself drawn more and more to the firefighter and when Cole finally really asks him out instead of just trying to bang him, well Ross finds himself unwittingly saying yes. Maybe their really is more to Cole than meets the eye. Still Ross’ secret life as a werewolf is more than most normal people could handle.

First of all this book was FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!! I adored Cole and Ross and I loved the insecurities that both men had despite being alpha types. Ross is so strong and domineering in his everyday life. He’s responsible for so much and is such a badass in the field. I loved seeing his softer side as he let himself be loved by Cole. He really needed that place to let go, to be with someone who didn’t need him to always be the tough guy and the strong one. And DAAAAYYUUUMM Cole turned out to be one hell of a badass himself. Not much of a fan of cage fighting myself, but I can totally see why that would have turned Ross’ crank but good.

I enjoyed the fact that the rogue threat in this book took a back seat to the real story, the love developing between Ross and Cole. The threat was still there of course and the reappearance of Cole’s nasty ex certainly leaves us with some tantalizing questions, but at the end of the day they all just added some nice tension to the story. Nothing going on with the world destroying forces did anything to distract from the love affair building between our two boyos.

Of course we had the requisite new characters introduced here (if you’re going to to have as long and on going of a series as Sandy has they’re a necessity). Gotta admit I might already be a teensy tiny bit obsessed with Loki and he’s only awake for like one scene! I am so excited And well Cole’s little brother may just be the most adorable thing ever! I’m reminded of Kory when we first met him. I did just plain love Calvin’s sass. For being the bookish one he certainly has a little snark and mouth on him. Wonderful is what that is.

One other key little note…I absolutely adored Cole’s reaction to finding out what Ross is. Too often lately it feels like everyone’s reactions are more on par with Chaz’s. This was a fantastic real gut reaction that sent everything into a believable tailspin. Being crushed in a burning building and waking up to all of that would put anyone in a strange space. This was a wonderful different take on things that added drama and life to the perfection that is Ross and Cole.

I’m in love and know that I will re-read this one over and over again. This goes down as one of my favorite books in this series to date. I just loved these two together and felt like the book had one of the more perfect blends of romance and action. Sandy I adore you!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your fantastic books! Oh, and PS I adore Ross’ nickname…it’s so fitting. ;)

Another great add to the series. Cole Ryker and Ross Collins are adorable nerds who seem to not be able to catch and break. Wanting to be together but don't know how. They come together in a sweet way and I was happy with their journey. Can't wait for the next.

Another nice addition to the Assassin/Shifter series. Nothing spectacular, but a fun read nonetheless. This is the story of Ross and Cole. Ross is a shifter and Cole is a firefighter. Cole has wanted Ross for a long time, but ever since coming off strong in their initial meeting, Ross has consistently rejected him. Though Ross keeps turning down Cole, he can't seem to get him off his mind.

I really enjoy this series. These books are light-hearted, easy to read and always have a HEA. No thinking is really required while reading these stories. This is book 22 in the series. With all these characters, and she always has the previous characters in the books, the author should really do a character reference. It's easy to forget or get the characters confused from one book to the next. It would be nice to have a listing in each book as a refresher.

I waited a while to read this book and it did not disappoint. It had everything in it. There was comedy, drama, action, misunderstandings, intimacy, accidents, begging, fights, geeks and revelations before our MCs reach their happy ending.
This wasn't just the story of Cole's pursuit of Ross. It was a story of Cole's family and Ross' friends. And with Cole being a firefighter they have a few friends in common. When an ex turns up you know things are going to get interesting.
The final scene is James' office is a good lead in for Savage Love.
The mistake I made with this book was trying to match the characters to the cover models. As both characters have short jet-black hair and blue eyes I didn't think they fit.

It started promising but once they started "dating" I grew bored of it all. Not only was I thoroughly bored at some points. I was also thoroughly confused because of editing issues. There would be times where Cole was glaring at someone and Cole wasn't even in the scene. Or Other times when i'd be confused who's POV we were even in. I thought Cole's reaction to Ross's news was way over the top. The whole falling out thing just didnt need to happen. And then Ross refusing to see him. *le sigh* I was so done with these guys.

MCs Ross and Cole get off on the wrong foot (quite a few times); it takes a while for each to realise they are exactly what the other needs. A few bumps in the road later, and voila, we have our mated couple. (I didn't spoiler tag this since I think by now everyone knows how these books play out!)

These books are fun and pass the time. They are not ones that I get absorbed in or make me think and feel.

Ross Collins refuses to be just another notch in Cole's bed post, but the gorgeous fire fighter is relentless in his pursuits for the ex Delta Force, sex on a stick member of the Skull Blasters supernatural team. Part of it is Ross's fear that if anyone finds out the truth about him, that he is in fact a werewolf, they won't be able to see past that and fear him, leaving him alone still. The other part is simple annoyance, Cole grates on his last good nerve. The problem is that Cole has, in fact, gotten under Ross's skin.

Since that first glance, Cole Stryker has not been able to get Ross off his mind. As hard as Ross refuses his advances, the harder Cole pours on the attention. When Ross finally succumbs to the constant barage of affection and says yes to a date with Cole, even Cole is taken aback for a moment. The first thing these two will have to learn is how to communicate. Ross wants to be cherished by his mate, loved like all the other mates he see's around him daily. Cole thinks that if he gets Ross into bed, that he'll be able to curb his appetite for the man, wrong! But that first kiss doesn't go quite as planned, still, Ross feels something there. But when he tries to slow it down and do things right, Cole bolts. He doesn't want a relationship with Ross, just a fling, right? Or so he tries to tell himself.

This will prove to be one of the most challenging romances in this series that has more than proven it has sustenance as well as longevity. First they must learn to talk to each other, then they have to trust each other with the truth. Cole's past is something he hides, runs from and refuses to talk to anyone about except his best friend. He's been hurt, and I mean hurt bad. Ross will have to share his secret with Cole before he's ready and the man he's falling in love with doesn't take it nearly as well as Ross had hoped. Cole says some extremely harsh things and pushes Ross away. When he finally pulls his head out of his ass and realizes that he loves Ross, unconditionally, will it be enough for Ross to forgive him for the words he said out of anger, fear and confusion?

Dirty Ross definitely earns its title. When these two hook up, it’s dirty dirty! But it's so passionate and sensual that neither of them know what to do with it. As I said, Cole has been hurt so he is not used to someone being gentle and loving, caring about his needs first. Ross has waited so long for his mate that he wants everything to be perfect. He'll have to adjust his views on love and commitment as well, as nothing in life is perfect, and it isn't for any of the other mates either. Can these two find the balance that is perfect for them?

I love the constantly continuing stories that flow throughout all the books in this series. Each instalment is engaging and intriguing as there are always new twists and turns. While it would seem each member of the skull blaster team and/or the shifters has a specific purpose, that purpose is ever evolving and weaving itself with the other characters in the series. New challanges, new characters and new loves make themselves known in Dirty Ross. I cannot wait for the next book in this series, seriously hoping that it's Killian and Stone! This is the best M/M sifter series there is out there today. Simply a must read, but start at the beginning with A Marked Man (book 1) if you haven't started the series yet.

I've been not so patiently waiting on Cole and Ross to get their book and this was so worth the wait.

The A/S series has grown to encompass 22 books and a couple of spin off series ad well. That's a lot and as you can imagine with that many stories going on things can get muddled and murky. Some of the books have been straight up hot messes: too many characters, too many sub plots, too many cliches...others (particularly the earlier books) have been amazing. Dirty Ross is closer to the latter than the former. It's a little cheesetastic but it works b/c this series is all about escapism and just over the top melodramatic paranormal "soapy" good times.

Ross and Cole are one of the better paced couples in the universe. There's is a slow (but not too slow) slide from flirting to something more. There's a bit of a more "realistic" approach to them coming together than there has been for previous couples, right down to ow certain reveals are handled which I appreciated.

I also liked that this book was a lot less scattered. There is a lot (IMO too much) in this universe. There's witches and warlocks, vampires and werewolves, military men and Federal Agents, billionaires and millionaires, assassins and hit men, mobsters - both Russian and Italian, cops and fire fighters...and actual Greek Gods , demi-gods and Titans.

There are also 500 characters...some of whom have the same name! Which irks the bejesus out of me b/c even soaps know better than to do that. *incoming rant* Legally there were 3 Adam Chandlers in Pine Valley...one went by Adam, one by J.R. and the other was Little A as a kid and then Adam Junior as an adult. There was never confusion as to who was who. Same w/all three Michael Corinthos's on General Hospital. You have Mike, Sonny and Michael. Point being, if you don't want to confuse people you don't have multiple characters w/the same name all going by that name. It's unnecessarily sloppy. /end rant.

So yeah, there's a lot going on and a lot of people and there's been a tendency in past books to throw in all of these things with equal measure. This book was a lot more focused and restrained. Yes, there were cameos and mentions and the involvement of other characters but it wasn't overwhelming. Everyone and everything isn't fighting for equal attention. The other elements are included in much broader strokes so it doesn't feel like everything and the kitchen sink was thrown into the book.

Another thing I really liked was that Cole and Ross remained in the forefront and retained the spotlight. Nobody took their shine even though we got glimpses of and appearances by past couples and hints and glimpses of future ones, this was Ross and Cole's story from beginning to end.

Overall, this one saved the series for me b/c after The Medicine and the Mob I was ready to bail. But this one was much closer to the style and fun of the earlier books and reminded me why I got hooked on this series in the first place. I laughed quite a bit and I just really enjoyed it.

I was excited when I first got this book but almost immediately I was starting to get lost with all the names. It is so hard to remember that many characters after 22 books in the series, and I was beginning to become overwhelmed and almost gave up,
BUT I AM SO GLAD I STUCK WITH IT!!!

It took a bit, but once I was firmly entrenched back in this world it all came back to me and I was thoroughly enjoying myself. I think it helps when I get more Nikolai, Vince, Andrei, Devin and the rest of the Skullblasters. They really are extremely hot, extremely funny, and I loved watching the changes that occurred in this installment…especially the Devin and Andrei shocker. WOWZA

Anyhoo, back to Ross, potty mouth “Dirty Ross”, oh man does he ever have some doozies come flying out of his mouth…so naughty. But seriously, what do you expect from a Special Forces guy, and it fits him anyway. And Cole…he really surprised me…did not expect him to have the past that he had and that really sucked for him…sniff sniff

BUT… then Cole blows it and goes and turns into big A-hole. So typical that the bully turns into the bully, or in his case, the closed minded numb-nuts. He was so mean, and I loved when his brother sided with Ross and walked out on him. He deserved it. Hoorah

But alas, he redeems himself after he realized what has been surrounding him for the last few years…kinda hard for the human to compete with a bunch of werewolves. But back to the story, yes it took a little while to wrap my mind around all the names and place them in their special part of the story but I did it and it was so good and I’m again waiting to see what happens next.

Waited for Ross and Cole...

It was very nice to finally read Cole and Ross' story. That said, I was a little disappointed in the book. I love the assassin/shifters series and wanted to love this book too, but I just didn't. I so anticipated Cole and Ross' story and expected it would be fun and carefree the way their encounters had been in previous books, but that was not the case; it felt like I was reading about two entirely new characters here, which was disconcerting at times. We meet some new characters, and catch up with some old ones, which is always nice, but it just felt like something was missing in this one. I was also very disappointed in Cole when he found out Ross is a werewolf. His reaction was way over-the-top in my opinion and I don't know how he could be so vicious--and I mean VICIOUS to someone he professed to love. Of course, he later apologized and got his guy, but his initial reaction was just way out of character for him and reprehensible given the circumstances surrounding Ross' revelation. Then there was Stuart, who I really hated in this book. For the life of me, I don't understand how Ross could call him a friend, especially after what he did to undermine Ross' relationship with Cole. I don't want to say too much and list spoilers, so I'll stop here. Though this was not one of my favorites, it was nice to catch up with old friends from the assassin/shifter universe, and I look forward to reading about Lev and Chaz in the next book.

Taking a break between the volumes of this series definitely makes a difference. I can just let all the mentions of people I only half-remember slide by. Something I feel might be inconsistencies with earlier volumes lack the force of knowing they are, as well.
The attitude took a bit of getting used to again. That focus on being badass and deadly and sharing likes and dislikes to a T. Oh and viewing people in a sexualized manner before seeing them as individuals.
However, as the story progresses the mood definitely shifts to a mellow courtship at a slow pace with time for emotional development (if you can call it such). That’s not so bad for my current mood.

But really, I cannot ignore this. How was Wayne the first werewolf when his freaking parents and ancestors were ones too? Bah.

There’s just no way to take this seriously. Apart from the sex this feels like one of those ridiculous, family friendly teen TV series. Do they even make those anymore? Well this is it, complete with the singing and dancing, the killing and threatening, in place of how real people would (or should) resolve their conflicts. It’s TV culture, if you will. The grand gesture is important, just as important that it is observed (and cheered) by everyone.
Maybe this is why on the whole the books involving the younger generation go down slightly better with me (although that may not be entirely true, come to think of it) – behaviours ring just slightly more true with teenagers or just beyond.

On the whole this was okay. Very much in line with the spirit of the rest of the series.

Yes!!
Finally the old charming essences of A-S series came back in this book.
The mission, friendship, family, love, cool actions and enough of story are back, and at good portion.
Even the A-S style of romance and love scene is back too.
I cannot explain, but I can feel it.
(my all time favourite romance and love scenes so far in this series are A Marked Man, By The Light of The moon and Into The Lyons Den)
I like Ross and Cole from the start, and with this result of book..I'm really happy.

Although there's not any big adventure here, but there are gates and much more possibilities for further ways, and it's something you can feel in normal daily life.

It's one of a few books in the series that I think can stand alone on itself.
Of course it'll make reader curious for back and forth, but it's quite completed one.
Cole's reaction to Ross at the hospital was fresh.
Well, after almost the same ones so far.
Sad at the time, but fresh and good.

um...is it too early to looking forward to Samson and Calvin story? ...poor daddy (laugh)
Think it'll be another funny volume that can keep you smile and laugh while reading.

And awww..., Kane and Matty are so Cute!! (sorry Kane...(^_-)-☆)
Even with one shot of them always make me laugh and smile.
Their story's going to be a great one in this novel category (as their daddies' are ❤).
There's plenty essences and possibilities for them.

REVIEW: NOTE: In order to fully understand who the characters are and all of the plot elements, you need to have read the previous assassin/shifter/12 Olympian books.

Dirty Ross by Sandrine Gasq-Dion has great concept continuation from previous installments and rich characterization. There is angst, hot sex, cage fighting, and the promise of so many more characters to explore. The sarcasm is abundant and humorous. The relationship between these men is anything but predictable and deviates from the established pattern of the previous book in this series. The story is well written and elicited an emotional response from me. I felt connected to the characters and was invested in the outcome. The author did a great job detailing the origin of the nickname “Dirty Ross” and left me needing to cool down several times in the book. Man this one was HOT! It was also tender when it needed to be and had another wonderful HEA.

Ms. Gasq-Dion has a great voice and knows how to spin a romantic yet manly tale. I am always impressed with how easily she can continue this long standing series without needing to force a plot and without allowing things to get stale. If you are a fan of the assassin/shifters series, this is another worthwhile read. I can’t wait for what comes next!

Having met Cole through previous books, I had a certain impression of him as a character. I know that he would become part of the AS World because with some characters you can just tell but I was never sure who Sandrine would pair him with and the fact that she chose Ross both confused and thrilled me.
I was thrilled that Ross would have someone and there would be a book written but I was also confused because at first I really couldn't see them together. The little snips of their interactions grew on me as I reread previous books and I started to adjust to their relationship. After reading this book, I realized that I didn't know these characters as well as I thought and I loved learning about them. Ross was sensitive and sweet while Cole hid his sensitivity with a tough attitude and a need to prove himself. This led him to be occasionally shortsighted and judgmental but it also made him more human to me. It's good to see characters with flaws because then you can relate to them.
As always Sandrine has created a masterpiece. If ever there was a person born to write, it is Sandrine Gasq-Dion.

Book #22 and still going strong! I could just stomp my foot and pout... I know we are going to get Loki's story in Tricked, Bewildered and Bitten... but, I couldn't find anything for Calvin yet... grrr! ;p

I don't know why this series is so addictive... but, I am hooked and really am not interested in rehab! This was a VERY busy book... there was a lot going on and it could get confusing if you didn't have a colored chart with digital graphics! *snort* LOL!!! Just kidding! But, there are so many names to keep straight that it keeps you on your toes, although, I think Ms. Gasq-Dion does a fine job of keeping the "who's who" part of the stories fairly simple!

Now, I just have to find time to read Chaz and Lev's story in Savage Love!!!

I love that Ross and Cole's story has finally been told. This book starts up where At Year's End ended. Ross is very attracted to Cole, but he can't stand him when he talks. Can Cole get to the top of "Mt. Everest"? Or will they keep flirting with each other? This book is just as amazing as all the others in this series! You cannot go wrong when you buy one of Sandrines books! She is a brilliant story teller, and her m/m sex scenes just about melt your e reader. I don't care if this series ends up with 100 books, I will one click them so fast! I am totally addicted to these characters, and I hope she never stops writing about them!

First off, let me say that this author has never disappointed me. This book was no exception. I've read a few reviews and I've also read a few of Ms. Dion's blogs and boy was she right--you CAN'T please everyone. I love the fact that Cole's reaction to Ross' big reveal wasn't an MEH moment. The reaction was REAL and yes, heartbreaking, BUT it was perfect.

I love Loki! Can't say it enough! For the two seconds he was in the book, I fell in love! I love Calvin as well. He's snarky!

The love story of Ross and Cole was done so well, I found myself crying while reading. Sandrine wrote a wonderful story full of emotion and I for one am looking forward to the next installment!
