Learned a ton and will be a great reference for future adaptogen purchases. Was written very scientifically which made it a little difficult to read all of every page however, I will definitely be referring back to the profiles frequently!

Very educational! As a book written by people who own a company that sells the products you are looking at it doesnt feel like they are pushing you to buy their products. The section of this book that is most helpful is. definitely the Adaptogen profiles!

Excellent book that gives depth to the use of life enhancing herbs and mushrooms. I have been using several listed in the book for years, mostly on the basis of "these are good for you" suggestions. This book actually lists reasons for WHY they are 'good'. Strongly recommend reading and applying what is found inside to your daily routines to (perhaps gradually...perhaps quickly) improve your overall quality of life.

Just as informative and enjoyable a read as Tero's earlier book Healing Mushrooms.

While you might not want to curl up with a cup of tea and snuggle up with this book, it's highly readable and full of lots of info on adaptogens. This shouldn't be your primary resource on some of these herbs (some qualities of these adaptogens are not mentioned) but really a useful book for any interested or practicing herbalist. The profiles of different adaptogens are pretty great

I must admit that I didn’t finish this book and that is very unusual for me. I read it as an audio book and it would be better to read as a reference book. Good content and information.

This is an easy to read and understand book on why, how, what, when adaptogens can help you. The format is easy to follow and logical. The explanations are simple and user friendly. Good information is given on shopping for product as well as brand names and websites. It includes a limited number of adaptogens, so the information is not overwhelming. It can easily be read from front to back and used later for reference.
