I loved this book. Blake was a little strong willed. After her world turns upside down she’s not prepared. She’s not happy her father got her protection due to a threat she received. When she meets AJ she’s not very polite.
AJ works for the Sheppard & Sons Investigation. He sees the picture of Blake, and offers to be her bodyguard. When he meets her for the first time she isn’t what he expects at all. She fights him at every step. He takes his job seriously.
Blake finally sees the danger she’s putting AJ in when she isn’t listening to him. It’s disruptive to her life.
So much more to come. Highly recommend all the books.

Yay! I get to dive back into Sheppard &Sons
AJ is such a strong, flawed, and protective man. Apparently I like that in a man. Blake is no slouch either. I love how Ms Rose shows the strength of her female characters and it blends perfectly with the protective Sheppard clan. Also there were some laugh out loud moments. Danny’s nickname was spot on. Another gem.

Aj & Blake
Eveline Rose has truly outdone herself with Aj's character, as Blake's naivety gives way to a profound understanding of Aj's true nature, revealing a kind-hearted individual worth more than her vast wealth. I love reading about characters from previous books in this series and how their lives & relationships have progressed.

This book was enjoyable to read. If you are a fan of bodyguard romances add this to the tbr now! If you like thrillers or suspense and don't mind a romance subplot. This book is a perfect read. If you prefer closed door romance, this fits the bill.
