Tired of acting interested in the high society holiday parties her parents expect her to attend with perfect charm and grace, Neve is contemplating a way to get out of this year’s schmooze (and snooze) fest when she learns she’s won an all expense paid trip. What she didn’t expect was to come face to face with the most gorgeous dragon shifter she never knew existed.
Dealing with the grief and fallout from his father’s passing, dragon Pine has no desire nor the bandwidth required to seek a mate, but if he doesn’t bring a date to the king’s Yule Ball he’ll be hounded by the families of every eligible female on his home planet. So he does what any reluctant heir would do: hires a matchmaker whom he promptly insults by requesting a platonic date for the occasion. The matchmaker, of course, sends Neve to Pine. The catch is that the matchmaker never briefed Neve on the situation, she just sent her a notification that she’d won the (intergalactic) trip.
There’s a smidgen of palace intrigue and interference as the transactional relationship between Neve and Pine heats up. Will they decide there’s more than just a good time between them?

4.25 stars. Pine, the male dragon shifter lead, is newly ascended to his noble position by virtue of his father’s death. He’s not interested in a partner but, when he’s invited to the Royal ball, he knows he needs a partner or one may be permanently assigned to him. Desperate, he calls on a matchmaker to *not* make him a match.
Neve, the female human lead, was just looking to avoid her parents’ ostentatious soirée when she accepted the prize of a winter getaway that she couldn’t remember entering a competition for. She’s flummoxed to find herself on another planet with dragon shifters and supposed to be a noble’s fake date. Since she doesn’t want to go to her parents’ party, she grudgingly agrees, but she’s expecting to go straight back home. Then the king demands her presence at his next ball…

This novella is dual POV, well written, and a funny, sweet and steamy, dragon shifter/human, fake relationship romance. I enjoyed their relationship development, and their intimate moments. I enjoyed Pine’s sister and hope she gets her own story.

Pine has recently taken over the Lordship from his father. He has so much to keep an eye on and control over, he has not time to search for a mate. But his king is in the mood for HEA's and is plotting to matchmake for him at the Yule ball. Pine hatches a plan and tasks the Matchmaker to find him a temporary consort. Not a companion of negotiable affection, just someone who he can be seen with at the Ball and thwart his kings plans.
Enter Neve. She hates Christmas and when she wins a holiday she thinks "Jackpot". However, she did not think she's end up on a distant planet, dealing with a handsome lord who shifts into a dragon!
It doesn't take long for the fake dating to turn real. Pine gets suitably wowed by a glammed Neve and a tad growly protective when she has to dance with other males at the ball. Neve, in turn, has to deal with arrogant males who think they're all that and a bag of chips and can have whoever and whatever the want!
Duplicitous dragon politics, dishy MMC and delightfully grumpy FMC. She may be out of her element (and her world) but Neve won't take anything lying down. The secondary characters are well formed and I loved meeting Briar!

Lord Pine has a human who is going to attend the Kings Yule ball with him
Neve has won a trip to a winter wonderland and she is over the moon however when she arrives at the destination, she finds she has arrived on the planet of Vemion which in inhabited by Dragon Shifters that have extremely high opinions of themselves.
When Lord Pine had kissed her, she had felt her heart actually move and her opinion of the man actually changed. When they attended the Kings Yule Ball and Neve actually had to dance with numerous male dragon shifters and then the king and found some to be fine but others were particularly odious and condescending.
Then at the ball one of the dragons had decided to accuse one him of committing a crime and all hell had broken loose, who would have guessed it would be Never would come to his rescue but you will have to read this wonderful book yourself and discover the outcome.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Just For Yule And Then Forever
A surprise winter cruise turns out to be a Yule ball at the dragon king’s court to be a temporary partner for some lord. Neve wants to return to Earth immediately, but when she finds out how much fun it is to fly on the back of a wonderful dragon, decides to stay for a few days. Normally, in the books linked to IDA, the male hero knows instinctively when meeting the lady that she is his mate. Not so with Pine, he definitely doesn’t want a bride. But as things go, people can change their minds. Fortunately both do. Two wonderful characters, a lovely sister and a devious peer. With the action and the danger both MC’s face and accept their changing feelings that lead to a HEA. Recommended.

Finally agreeing to help him because Shade is a matchmaker of course and Pine is in for a surprise.
Human Neve is a holiday grinch and after winning an all expenses paid trip is looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday.
Miscommunications or not when these two are paired the sparks will fly and a delightfully steamy romance soon follows.
Great writing and characters populate this tenth entry in the entertaining IDA series which made it a funtastic read! HEA.

Neve agrees to attend the King's New Year's ball. He discovers that Neve is his mate. Will Neve stay, or go back to earth? I enjoyed reading this sweet, passionate love story!.

Pine is the tenth story in the Intergalactic Dating Agency series. I found this book to be well written, well balanced and perfectly executed by author Kate Rudolph. She continues to show me what an amazing author she is with each book that I have read from her this far. I’m definitely going to be looking forward to reading more amazing books from her in the near future. The characters were beautifully written and perfectly executed throughout the story. Pine is definitely a book that I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone who enjoys paranormal romances.

Neve thinks she won a paid trip to a winter wonderland but she ends up with Lord Pine, an alien dragon, who needs a date for the king's ball and he has to go. Neve agrees to go to the ball but then, when she meets the king, he insists she attend Lord Pine to the New Year celebration. Now Neve and Pine have two weeks to get to know each other better and they do just that. Neve falls for Pine and he knows she is his mate. Their two weeks together is very steamy but there is some evil coming their where they must work together to overcome it. This story has danger, adventure, steamy romance and a lovely ending!

loved it !! love this series !! love Neve and Pine... this is their story... a fast paced shorter drama... Neve just needed to get away.. she hated the holidays... her parents party and everything to do with being Jolly... she won a vacation she didn't remember entering.. a winter wonderland vacay sounded wonderful... Pine needed a date, no strings to the Royal Yule Celebrations... no wife !!! so, he goes to ask the IDA for help... when, he meets Neve... well, he's star struck and so is she... so good !!! intrigue... and more...

An Unexpected Love!
Neve never expected to find love with a dragon shifter but finding out her all expenses paid trip was to another planet and to be a date for Pine a dragon shifter lord was definitely a shock to the system.

Kate Rudolph knows how to write a wonderful story like this one called Pine. Pine is a dragon shifter whose king is trying to fix him up in a marriage. Pine arranges for an Intergalactic matchmaker to find him a human who will pose as his bride to be for the winter ball. Cue earth bound Neve who hates Christmas and decides to go on a winter trip she’d “won,” though she didn’t remember entering the contest. Despite neither wanting a relationship, Pine and Neve wind up falling in love and even thwarting a political situation on his planet! Love the HEA!

This was another fun addition to the Dragon Brides Series and I enjoyed getting to know Pine and Neve in this story as well as Pine's sister Briar. The holiday celebrations were fun and it had an interesting plot. I haven't read all the previous books in this series yet but they are on my TBR List and I look forward to reading them as well as any future books in this series.

This is a delightful tale of a human and an alien dragon who had no interest in Christmas/Yule time or finding love. Bah, humbug! Christmas made Neve irritable. It wasn’t something she looked forward to. Pine tried to get out of the Royal Yule Ball, but no one said no to the king! And so the plot began…. how to find a date without getting involved? What starts as outrage on Neve’s part soon morphs into interest. And just when things look promising, disaster strikes. Tension reaches an all time high causing the reader’s heart to pound wondering what will happen next.

This was a cute fated mates romance and a fun addition to the series. I love that both Neve and Pine weren't looking for love but it sure found them ;) She's feisty, and rather grumpy, and he's so hot ;P, that you can't help rooting for them. Adding in dragon politics, action, adventure, intrigue and steamy romance made it a page turner, for me. So fun and I'm looking forward to what's next by this author :D

If you like dragon shifters or alien romances with feisty ladies and strong heroes then you will love this book. Warm and romantic rather than scorching and well written capturing your imagination so you dont want to stop reading . Part of a series but still a stand alone story great for curling up next to the fire on a cold night .. a good way to get warmed up.

I really enjoyed the story! I just think it would have been nice to have an epilogue. The main guy was so sweet when he finally understood his feelings for the main girl. My favorite part was definitely when he took her flying—such a beautiful moment! I’m so glad they figured out how much they meant to each other in the end. I was hoping for a big, bold declaration from him, but I guess his promise to go with her is sweet enough!

This is a well written fated mates romance with strong characters in Neve and Lord Pine. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with drama, danger and romance, moves the story quickly and smoothly and delivers another entertaining book to the series.

A sweet story. Lord Pine needs an escort to the kings ball and he goes to a matchmaker to find a woman to take. He doesn't want a wife or mate, he doesn't have the time for one, since his father died. He has the estate to go through. Neve wins an all expense paid trip, that sounds too good to be true. She wakes up on another planet and meets PIne,a dragon. Their adventure begins. Some humor and romance.

As a new dragon lord, Pine needs to go to the King’s Yule ball but doesn’t want to take a dragon lady. Instead he arranges for a human to be brought from Earth just for the event - no complications. Then he meets Neve and his life becomes nothing but complicated. It’s a whole lot of fun and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Need a Date, Not a Mate
Pine’s father has just passed and he has just inherited his lordship. In order to not be hassled at the Yule Ball, he needs a non-strings attached date - he doesn’t have time for a mate. Neve just wants to get away from all the Christmas fuss - she doesn’t realize that the price she’s won includes a trip to a whole other planet! This story was fun - I love the fancy balls! - and Pine and Neve dance around each other in such a sweet and the steamy way. A great read.

This is book 10 of Intergalactic Dating Agency and a standalone story. This is a romantic love story that starts out with Pine looking for a date for the king's ball. I like how the characters interact with each other and especially the happy ending. This maybe a short book but worth the read.

Pine is ordered by the King to attend the Yule ball, so he gets a date through a matchmaker. Neve "wins" an all-expense-paid trip to a winter getaway. I love the plot of this book. Pine and Neve were not expecting anything lasting, but good things come in the least expected time. Excellent book!

I enjoyed the book from the beginning and it got better as I read it. I loved the intrigue and was waiting for the hero to rescue the girl and himself from the evil plot unfolding. I liked how she was trying to save him but unfortunately she was caught herself. Love the HEA.

This is another good story in the "Dragon Brides" series. It is a fairly short, quick and fast paced story with wonderful characters. This story is about Neve and Lord Pine. These two are combustible together. I love how their holiday story develops with some suspense, action and really good twists.
