Inner Child work isn’t new to me, though my first encounter with it caught me by surprise over ten years ago when working with a therapeutic process involving working with images of my younger self and journaling.
This was the portal that opened the door to the courageous leap I’d eventually take to give voice to my childhood trauma.
While I’ve come across others facilitating Inner Child work over the years, it was discovering Nina’s Inner Child Healing Oracle deck, and working with it, that I really felt a connection to someone who understands at her core the vital importance of listening deeply and acknowledging all the many aspects of the inner child.
Then reading Nina’s book, Reclaiming Your Inner Child, as she so tenderly expressed her own vulnerable journey working with her inner child, I came to really trust that she is someone who walks her talk and has put in the time and effort of doing her personal inner work.
I’ve found the meditations in the book to be outstanding. Nina’s gentle voice and reassurance tenderly invites one to go deeper into all aspects of the inner child. They have offered me many positive and healing shifts not only for the different facets of my inner child, but ancestral work too.
This is a book I know will continue to turn to as I move through my life to serve as a reminder to love and appreciate the little one within me. Because every time I do, I find myself deepening into more peace and acceptance of who I am and the journey I came here to experience.
Nina’s book (and her oracle deck) are the loving guides to help us gently let go what no longer serves us so we can step more fully into the truth of who we are.
