Sometimes fate throws things our way that step outside of the norm, well the norm of what most people think. Nicholas sexy as all get out stepbrother comes from money, his father got married years ago to a woman who had a little girl that disliked him right from the start and years later it isn’t any different, but he aims to change that helping her to see him the man. Isabel is sweet loves her mom but didn’t like the idea of her getting married to a man with money, a son who she didn’t like at all he was arrogant most of the time, cocky all the time but she wanted her mom happy so putting up with her stepbrother for her mother was worth it. Isabel is in trouble but the only man she can think of to assist her is her stepbrother which is just what he wanted he has always loved her but she couldn’t see it now he can show her through protecting her, will she see another side of him, will she see past the cocky, arrogant man to the protector, and can there be something more for them like happiness?

Isabel is a bigger, curvy girl. Nicholas is her stepbrother. He is a business tycoon and 10 years older than Isabel.

Isabel is with her roommate and best friend Eliza at a bar. It is featuring a wet t-shirt contest. Nicholas is at the same bar and walks up to Isabel. He teases her and jokes that she should be in the contest. A drunk guy nearby overhears Nicholas and agrees. He throws his beer on Isabel’s chest and gets the crowd cheering for her. Isabel is mortified and runs out of the bar. Her apartment is a short walk from the bar. Nicholas comes to the apartment to make sure Isabel is okay after beating up the guy that threw the beer in the first place.

The story kept you wondering if Nicholas and Isabel would cross the line and give in to their feelings.

Step-siblings attraction! This is about Nicholas and Isabel. These two are step-siblings; however, this was due to their parents deciding to marry when she was fifteen and he was twenty-five. There is a ten-year age gap, but she doesn’t mind as there is an attraction between the two. She always believed he was attracted to a specific type of woman on the slender side, and she was anything but that. Someone spills their drink on her at a bar, and Nicholas comes to her defense as she runs out to head home. Although I love Kelsie’s books, they always leave you wanting more, as they don’t show you what the future will bring once they inform their parents of their attraction.

This wasn’t a bad book, but I found the continuity errors very distracting.

Heat- they do the things including the A, and use the P word and D word when naming the parts. The word “member” is also used and I got distracted waiting for someone to pop up and welcome me to Sam’s Club.

Isabel was at the bar with her best friends/roommate drinking and watching a wet t-shirt contest. Her best friend was trying to get her to enter but she didn't have the confidence to do it. Her step brother Nicholas ended up being at the same bar. They've always had an attraction to each other but she fights it. But when a man throws a beer on her and she gets upset and runs away her step brother seeks her out. I expected this book to be a lot hotter than it was it wasn't a bad book it just very tame.

This short story brings step siblings Isabel and Nicholas together randomly in a bar, there has long been something between them but they've never acted on it. An incident at the bar leads to Nicholas making sure Isabel is ok, being honest with each other, exploring feelings and going after what you want. I personally would have liked an epilogue to this.

A wonderful story in the genre younger woman/older man. I enjoyed the story of Isabel and Nicholas. Their story reads smoothly and keeps your attention from the beginning. Chemistry and attraction and enough exciting and hot scenes. His obsession with her was great.

It's a younger woman/older man story of step siblings that become more. I enjoyed the story of Isabel and Nicholas. The story is great, and you realize why they were in an estranged relationship. Chemistry and attraction couldn't be denied, and the obsession couldn't be denied.

I liked the lumberjack’s obsession so decided to give this one a go. I ended up dnf-Ing this one because it seems that’s there was an immediate attraction when they both met. He was 25, she was 15. While there was no sexual relationship between them, the acknowledged sexual attraction weirded me out so I decided to just skip.

Decent writing, predictable storyline that moves very quickly. Step-sibling trope with a large age difference… if you’re not comfortable with that, skip this. Otherwise, worth the KindleUnlimited read but probably not something I would’ve bought.
