Spring Break With the Guy Next Door is Book 15 in the Snowflake Falls series. It's a short and steamy, enemies-to-lovers, OTT, grumpy-sunshine, curvy city girl gets her mountain man romance. Shelby is a smart and curvy girl who has come to Snowflake Falls to do a field assessment for a possible new development. Grayson is the hunky, grumpy mountain man who lives next door to her rental cabin and runs a wildlife rehabilitation center. He is very protective of the mountain and the animals' natural habitats. He is not happy Shelby is here at first. But as they keep crossing paths and spending time together, he realizes there is more to the curvy city girl. These two had such hot chemistry, and we got a happy ending after a bit of angst. I loved it as usual! Jessa writes these great, feel-good, short, and steamy reads!.

Spring with the Guy Next Door is the fifteenth book in the Holiday Romance in Snowflake Falls series. This series just keeps getting better with each book for me, as I continue to fall in love with Snowflake Falls and it's residents. This story find Shelby Ford coming back to town for her new job as environmental consultant at Horizon Development. She has been working hard for three years to get his promotion and opportunity and she is running with it. She rents a cabin up on the mountain for the next month with the help of Luna, who owns the bakery Gingerbread and now a coffee shop, The Coffee Heart. When she arrives Luna tells her that she has one grumpy mountain man neighbor, Grayson Laird, who thinks he owns the mountain. Shelby will come to learn that in fact the Laird family has been on the mountain for generations and that Grayson knows a lot about the animals there, as he runs the local wildlife rehabilitation center. From their first not so "meet cute" things are off on a wrong foot, but with a bare chest. Grayson is aware of why Shelby is there and thinks of her as the enemy, even as he fights his true feelings all along. One dance in the rain later and these two are burning up the sheets. But what will happen when Shelby hands in her report for the new ecotourism resort?
It Takes Two to Succeed - The first time Grayson and Shelby met didn’t go right, as she accidentally caused a situation that inconvenienced both of them, but what really pushed him to the limit was when he discovered the reason she was in the area. Shelby tried offering an olive leaf, but Grayson was still still weary of her of her even though he agreed to help her with her task. Spending time together heightened their attraction for each other and led to them spending the night together.
However, Shelby’s disappearance the next day without any explanation caused a misunderstanding, but just as Grayson resigned himself to not seeing her again, she returned. Shelby’s return permanently gave herself and Grayson a chance to have a professional and personal future together. Reading this story was an exhilarating experience, that kept me totally engrossed and eagerly turning the pages. Grab a copy of this book to read and you won’t be disappointed.

You know sometimes in life you think you sorta hate someone but you really love them.....this is so it!!!
Shelby is in town to do an assessment for her company for a resort. She loves nature and finally getting a chance to not be stuck in the office. So...lets just say her first night in her cabin is full of......unplanned incidents, but she at least got a good look at the hot guy from next door yelling at her in just a towel.
Greyson didn't think one small woman could bring so many issues, but here he is..dealing with it. I love how fundamentally he thinks he should hate her, trying to come stir up trouble and disrupt his animal sanctuary. Sometimes you just need some time in the woods to see your not so different.
These two really have a deep palpable connection. It certainly has some ups and down, but its a strong thread. Sometimes when we least expect it, love sneaks up on them. This is the sweet, oh so spicy heat, and HEA we sorta all want to think life has in store for us.
Spring with the Guy Next Door is a delightful small-town romance that perfectly blends grumpy-sunshine tension with undeniable chemistry.
Shelby is ready for a fresh start in Snowflake Falls, but her plans hit a roadblock in the form of Grayson—a brooding, protective mountain man who seems determined to keep outsiders away. Their clash is instant, with Grayson convinced she’s a threat to his peaceful town while Shelby believes they can find common ground. But as their arguments spark into something deeper, they may just realize they agree more than they thought.
This book is filled with fiery banter, swoon-worthy moments, and the charm of a cozy mountain town. If you love forced proximity, opposites-attract romance, and a gruff hero with a soft spot, this is a perfect springtime read!.

Wanting a short, no nonsense, instaromance read? Jessa has you covered with Shelby and Grayson. Settling in Snowflake Falls to do thorough research for an assessment Shelby is Grayson's new enemy, because she's here to ruin his mountain (she's not) and that makes her public enemy number one. Shelby is a here to ensure that the plan for eco tourism is the best plan, that it will not hinder the surrounds and actually prove to a worth while disturbance. If only her grumpy neighbor Grayson understood the job description she has. A little bit of back and forth between the two occurs over this short read, but ultimately happy endings all round. 5/5 stars.

Shelby has no idea what to do with the random weather prediction that is thrown at her as she arrives in Snowflake Falls....but it isn't wrong! Grayson tries to be a grumpy mountain man, but his heart is far too big, especially when it comes to the rescue animals. How are we supposed to resist the gorgeous, grumpy man who rescues and heals wildlife? Shelby doesn't stand a chance of holding on to her heart. This book isn't quite as steamy as others in the series, but I loved it just as much. It seems to go a little deeper, Shelby is fighting a real life issue and it is awesome to see her keep her integrity. A fantastic visit to Snowflake Falls which I read on Kindle Unlimited.
Spring with the Guy Next Door is a feisty and flirty novella with a gorgeous setting and beautiful animals. I love that Grayson runs a wildlife refuge and rehab center on his family’s mountain. His backstory is fascinating, and his clashing resentment of city girl Shelby is so much fun to read. Shelby has a heart of gold and an incredible amount of patience. Her passion for knowledge and spending time outdoors is the perfect seduction to attract Grayson. These two have great chemistry, and the writing is fast-paced and easy to read. I loved sinking into this 30 minute read!

She is on the mountain to do an assessment for an eco-friendly resort. She is very protective of the mountain and doesn’t want to see it exploited. They seem to be on opposite sides of the issue until they actually spend some time together and see that they have a lot in common. Things really spark when the big hot mountain man realizes she’s not there to destroy his home. Once the sparks ignite, they both fall hard and fast.

This story is sweetly romantic, sprinkled with humor and adorable wolf pups. It's got a grumpy beast of a man who is actually a softie. It's sweet watching him and Sierra move around one another before finally giving into a kiss. After a dance in the rain they advance their relationship even further. I also loved that the environment is saved in the story and that Snowflake Falls will remain undeveloped by corporate greed.

Jessa Joy continues her fabulous Holiday Romance in Snowflake Falls series with the steamy Spring with the Guy Next Door. However, there is a simmering attraction between them and with the help of an injured wolf pup and a couple spring storms, we get to see love bloom yet again in Snowflake Falls. Shelby is in town to do an environmental assessment on a mountain development that makes her enemy number one to her hot neighbor. Grayson has lived on the mountain his whole life and doesn’t want a development destroying the mountain and its fragile ecosystem. Sparks fly and hearts twine but their future depends heavily on if they can be true to their hearts and get a chance at a steamy HEA.

A quick tale of opposites - a city girl and a mountain man, a corporate worker and an environmentalist - but yet they are more alike than not. The characters are good, and the environment is used to move the story along, but the timeline seems off. Overlooking that it's a great read with a sweet storyline.

Shelby has come to Snowflake Falls to conduct environmental research for a large property developer. She wants to do the right thing for the community, but her boss is making it difficult. Grayson, her neighbor, runs an animal rehabilitation center. I really enjoyed this book. The plot is excellent, and the chemistry between Grayson and Shelby is outstanding. Shelby has worked hard to get ahead at the company she works for. This is the first environmental assessment she has been sent on. She buts head with the man, Grayson, in the cabin near her, he does not want the wildlife and ecosystem disturbed by building a resort.
The pair but heads from the very beginning, mostly due to trust issues.

Shelby is in Snowflake Falls doing an eco-study, and Grayson runs a wildlife rehab center. These two are complete opposites and clash when they first meet but the more time they spend together the closer they get. Spring With the Guy Next Door is book fifteen and a sweet addition to the Holiday Romance in Snowflake Falls series. The writing is good and the story is a quick read. I love this story! The characters were very natural, felt real. And I especially liked that Shelby, though working for a corporate boss who wanted only the green light to build no matter what, stuck to her guns and went with what she saw - how a huge resort would not be healthy for the mountain environment. Can’t wait to read more by Jessa Joy - she writes short stories with a good plot, humor and believable characters.
This was a cute enemies to lovers romance. It was a short story with a fast pace. I liked the setting of the story, it’s lovely returning to the Snowflake Falls universe. Shelby and Grayson did not have the best beginning but they sure did have chemistry. I liked the story.

This was another fun fast read for the series and I loved the chemistry between Grayson and Shelby. These two really shouldn't match up - city gal vs mountain man/animal rescuer - but they do. Of course, it's not easy, especially at first, so expect them to go back and forth a bit before they find their stride together and get that fab and steamy HEA. Good fun!

Grayson and Shelby were very much a grumpy / sunshine couple. This novella was short and sweet, complete with a wolf puppy, fierce love for the wilderness, and a dash of spice. I love the snowflake falls series!
This quick read moves along well and has likeable characters, connection, chemistry, friends, family, passions, doing the right thing and taking a chance on love.

I wish there were some personality or character descriptions here. The MMC's personality is his six-animal wildlife rehab center, and the FMC's is that she's the good employee of the developer, and that's literally it.
A nice quick read! Grayson lives on the mountain near Snowflake Falls. He run an animal rehab center, Shelby is in town to do an environmental study for an ecotourist resort. The two of them fell for each other and Grayson works at showing is mountain to Shelby.
