Nora and her fellow survivors are struggling to find a sanctuary where they can finally relax and live again. After their intense encounter with Rogues led to the destruction of their home, they are once again on the move, but this time they are heading to Nora’s brother’s home in Maine.
Not only must they survive physical hardships, but they must endure heartbreak and the stress of constantly looking over their shoulders. They encounter new dangers along the way and face loss once again. Will they make it to her brother Hudson’s home? Or will they succumb to the insectoids along the way? Has Nora’s cancer returned or is it just a result of stress from being on the move constantly? I received an advanced copy and I cannot wait to read the next novel in the series!

Ok this has to be spoiler free but I don't know what to say to make it so. As with every other installment in this series, this is anxiety causing with each turn of the page. None of our survivors can seem to catch a break, I swear!!! There's turmoil from the fear of survival, or dwindling chance of survival. And what befalls our crew as they continue to look for safety is partially expected. But that cabin in the woods? I was not expecting that!!
I kept trying to flip my kindles page at the end because the wait for what should be the emxt and last book is going to be hard!

Okay when I discovered this series there were 6 books that I had to read and it took me exactly 6 days to read them all and now I'm done with the 7th and I gotta admit...this was the best so far! SOOO exciting! Literally the end left me breathless! I wish book 8 was coming like tomorrow!

Another book that kept me on the edge of my seat, my nerves were wrecked reading this book between the people from the cult to the dead room in the forest,you just keep wondering how the group keep going
