An awesome series!
This has been a favorite series of mine since the first book, and the stories just keep getting better and better. It has a bit of everything including fantastic characters, wildly inappropriate humor (Lol!), drama, mystery, suspense, and of course the crazy antics that the MCU team is known for. It's certainly a must read book and series!
I have to admit that lately it seems like one of the good guys/gals are either getting roughed up or something a lot more permanent happens. For a while, it's like every new book release has me excited, but it also has been a little discouraging. Knowing that one of the characters (most of which have been a part of the series since the beginning) that you've come to care about is not going to make it through to the next release, well it's difficult to get excited by that. However, even knowing that it's a definite possibility, I am unable to stay away from this series for long!
If you haven't already read the previous books in this series, I would highly recommend that you start from the beginning. Most of the books in this series can be read as stand alone novels, as the current case they're working on is usually completed by the end of the story. However, there are many secondary type plots that are being continued throughout the series. It's not necessary to read the entire series, but it will give you a better understanding of the characters, connections between the characters and from other counties around the state, and the intriguing dynamics between all of them. They're all absolutely fantastic stories,and you certainly won't be disappointed!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Waiting for #23
Mr. Scott, I don't know if you ever read your reviews, but once I said 'you were born to write' and after reading all 22 of Virgil Jones mysteries it still holds true. I have to admit your books totally disrupt my sleep habits, only because I keep saying one more chapter!! Looking forward to #23. I highly recommend this series to anyone who is a mystery buff. I also believe you would enjoy it more by starting with Book #1. Happy reading!!

Epic
As usual, absolutely amazing. The only sucky thing is as I have work to do and when I pick up one of these books it's one of the ones I can't put down till I get finished.
Like all books that come in a series you'll get a better appreciation if you start reading from number one but you could read it as a standalone.

Solar What
This is my first read of the Virgil Jones series.
I was impressed with the story line and how must information was put in the story.
I was not familiar with the characters, but the description of them you got to know who was who. Learn a lot about solar farms as well. Good read I may have to go back and read other books in this series.

Excellent!
I enjoyed this book as I have enjoyed all of the previous ones. Mr. Scott brings everyone to life and I especially love Virgil and Sandy's boys and their antics! But my favorite part of this book was the authors note. I cried when I read Mr Scotts note about his friend and mentor. He must have been an amazing man and I, too, believe we are all family!

I like how after reading the previous, the character development is perfect. I Like the suspense,the characters and the strong bonds the that have developed.

I love Virgil Jones
I fell in love with the whole MCU gang from the first book. I don't seem to be able to get enough of them. Thomas Scott sucks you in at the beginning of every book and keeps you turning the page until the very end.

Loved it.
Great story. Everything worked out great. The whole gang intact and all the characters I’ve come to know and love made it thru just fine. What more could you ask for.

WONDERFUL! THIS WAS ONE I DIDN'T FIGURE OUT (which I loved). I'M SO VESTED IN THE CHARACTERS I WORRY ABOUT THEM JUST AS IF (I do) I REALLY KNEW THEM. BRAVO TO YOU MR. SCOTT. ;D
